    Ian Bremmer's Quick Take:
A Quick Take from New York City. The United Nations General Assembly, High-Level Week. You've got heads of state from all over the world converging on New York, which means you're walking everywhere or taking the subway. You certainly don't want to be stuck in traffic.
What I wanted to talk about today, though, is not that; it is the war going on in the Middle East, continuing to expand. It's now the Northern front. It's Israel versus Hezbollah. In Lebanon, you have tens of thousands of Lebanese over the last 24 hours that have been fleeing for parts north so that they don't get caught up in the bombing. Hundreds of Lebanese have been killed, thousands injured, and that's just in the last 24 hours of Israeli strikes.

I'm stunned how it appears that Iran has thrown its proxies under the bus, one by one.
We knew Iran was going to fight to the last Palestinian, Lebanese or Houthi.
But they haven't even responded to attacks on their soil.
I suspect their stock is losing value.

The only reason is that they understand Israel is more powerful than they are and can hit them VERY hard. They are very careful and calculated and they took notes in regards to what happened to the invincible saadam hussain.

I have been quite critical of the media's role in the Gaza War. I have also been sometimes critical of Fareed Zakaria. So it is good to see that Fareed has been interviewing the Iranian leadership. We need more interviews from the other side in this world of conflict we have.

If you truly want to know what is happening, then you need to stop watch mainstream media and look into alternative/independent media. Western MSM's coverage of the Gaza war is largely Israeli propaganda/talking points.

I find it strange that, in a video about the war of Israel vs Hezbollah, you don't explain that Hezbollah has been raining rockets on Israel since Oct 8th, recently killing 15 kids that were playing football (and no military target). You also mention 60 thousand Israelis who had to flee. First, they are 70 thousand at least. Second, why would they flee, if you don't explain the rockets that kept falling on their homes?

The 12 kids were killed by the debris of Israelis Iron Dome, Lebanon asked the independent investigation, but Israel refused. The villager of the 12 kids killed who are the decendent of Syria in the occupied Golan Heights claimed that Israel responsible for the incident.

This is an appalling report - “not much more for Israeli’s to hit” , is a journalistic analysis of what Israel has done ? This and reports like this are why the world remains ignorant of the cause and solution to our problems ..

Well Ian Bremmer isn't a journalist reporting news. He's wearing his hat as an analyst. Geopolitical risk analysis is part of what he does.
Feel free to share what you think is going on. Don't be surprised though if governments in places like Jordan or Egypt are more likely to listen to Mr Bremmer than you or me.

Ian is constantly railing on Putin's war crimes on this channel (rightly so). But when it comes to the mass slaughter of the Palestinians and total destruction of Gaza, Ian has a total change of tone. Its like the BBC's coverage where they say, "20 Palestinians died to today." instead of "Israel kills 20 Palestinian civilians." But you gotta understand where is bread is buttered.
