I liked Midna, she wasn't some ally that "sucked up" to you, she helped you only to get what she wanted, I like that. But I liked how as the game goes on, you and midna (Link and Midna) get more attached and start working together for their own goals, which in the end is the same goal. To stop Zant and the power in him (Ganandorf/Ganon).
I wasn't sure why but when this song came on and Minda was 'dying' I had a feel that I couldn't explain... music like this does weird things to my mind. :c

It's pieces of music like this that make me wish that inter-dimsional travel were possible. It just pulls at the strings of the heart that are emotion, and make one want to visit the place that this song was used for. Alas, for we lesser beings are but mere mortals trapped on this plane of existence.
I have to agree. Final Fantasy does that A LOT. Zelda twists things around in ways that no other game does, and re-introducing Midna wouldn't continue that fashion. True, some minor characters make appearances in multiple games, but only leading characters that disappear (Midna, Navi, etc.) should remain out of the games once gone. It makes the action of the game more dramatic.

However there are many people begging to see Midna come back and this is the only way so i may do it after all. I remembered it as more direct, but at least this does not rule her out returning.
Beautiful piece. You moved around just little enough to keep the mind active, but you stay smooth and very soothing, with an antagonizing, gradual buildup (in a good way), then digress gracefully. ((The above was the closest I could get in words to describe the bliss, but it still fails miserably.))

Of all the annoying sidekicks Link has had, Midna is one the fans want back the most. Midna pulled off what the others couldn't and that was because she changed throughout the game and had a decent backstory. If Midna ever comes back, the Twilight Realm would have to be involved yet again in some affair concerning Link's world. Not sure what it could be though...
i feel like playing zelda now. if this game had any levels that could be replayed, i would so replay midna's desperate hour over n over again. i wish this could be the music for that level though
@AppleIPie Well, that is true, Sheik did help you as well, but was more come and go and come back thing than by your side at all times as Midna was. In TP, she was a good ruler, but, again, did not directly assist you as much as Midna had. In WW, she does help you out at times, but not so much. I think that the game Zelda was most useful in was Spirit Tracks, when she actually became your partner through the game. So yes, Zelda wasn't always a mere damsel in distress and actually has been useful
