Keep going mate never stop. You are doing a great job with the video. I am almost 50 and looking for a sailboat to start my own adventure. Well done mate
I already like your videos I’ve never been to Ireland, but my grandmother was a Cody I also love sailing videos and have done a little bit of sailing on a 21 foot boat in Florida Keep the videos coming. I enjoy watching what you’re doing with this.
I've picked up a 23SL, and after a year of repairs and other jobs I'm looking forward to taking her out this season. Cant wait to see your future videos.
great to have you back!! super excited to see the next steps of your journey 🎉 i loved the introduction and the underwater shots! you’re doing an awesome job 😉
Beautiful video Sean, you’re a natural! Loved all the footage and your easy relaxed style. Beautifully shot too. Really interesting to follow your story with your boat. Well done and keep it up! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great to see you are back, I can completely understand why you got sidetracked. I think you will do this, don't sweat as you are young and you will get support.
Lovely to see you again👍 ,preparation is the key word as a stich in time saves nine as they say as we head towards spring so we are ready for the summer.
Your "fancy new engine mount" is the same as the one on my boat which i bought last Autumn. Good to know it's probably not very old if you managed to get a new one. Also i have very little sailing experience and i've not gone anywhere in it just yet. I have it on a trailer in my drive, a few jobs to do on it yet and then when the weather improves i'll be putting her in Windermere in the Lake District for her maiden voyage.
Hi. Voiceover and also original tone mixed i would prefere. The style of filming i like a lot and i will follow your journey. (side note: i am a teacher for children with challenging behaviour ;-) )

I remember Elmer coming up for sale. I was interested as it looked pretty cheap, but I left my bid too late as you had bought it! Which is lucky for Elmer as you are much more likely to get far more use out of it !
What type of boat is this its great? Any resources on owning and parking these, sailing rules, maintenance etc... like how does it all work? I'd love one. 😮🤣 Thanks.
@@GOodkNight9022 Hi, I purchased the boat with a few extras and sold some of them which brought the boat itself to about €2000. I bought a new engine for about €1600 and probably spent another €400 on some extras like a new anchor and engine mount.
Not sure haha, I would love to but not in Elmer, she is fine for coastal cruising in fair weather but I will need a blue water boat if I am to do it in my own vessel

When you will sail across the Atlantic?

The leisure 17 crossed the Atlantic in 1968 , got shipwrecked in Cuba en route to the Miami boat show , google it , it’s a brilliant story
Personally, I’d need a blue water boat and a mountain of knowledge, a mountain on which I have barely reached the tree line
