The trick of “if you wouldn’t push this with an Op, or if you’d AD peek this with an Op, do that with whatever gun you’re using” is extremely helpful, holy shit. My biggest issue is knowing when to W key vs when to AD key. Except weirdly my problem is that I AD key too much. I also have a massive problem with overextending. Playing as if I have an Op all the time (save aiming at body level instead of head level) is actually solid advice, I’ll try to incorporate it into my gameplay moving forward.
I agree with 14:21 part. I play Omen and many times I used to do the mistake if peeking out of the wrong part of the smoke. Like there is no point in doing that. I am still working on this part and I daresay though I have improved on it a lot, in ranked things get awry sometimes
Holy I think this video solved my problem. I am an excellent OPer and just can’t rifle as good, I’ve forced myself to rifle only the past two acts just to improve on it, gonna hop in a game rn and try this
preaiming to me feels like giving me 3x + 2 = 7 and telling me to just solve for x. But i dont know any of the steps involved in solving for x like you have to isolate the variable or maybe i dont even know what multiplication or addition is. I just don’t understand how you go from not knowing how to preaim and then knowing how to. Like right now it feels like what im doing is just plugging in random mumbers for X and hoping i get the right answer. The advice is just play more but it feels aimless because i don’t understand how to actually improve it. Some common angles im able to preaim consistently just by sheer repetition but that feels like extremely inefficient way to improve this. There has to be some thought process that im missing
I've never played valorant but I love watching these videos I don't understand a lot like the whole map thing but it's just because I don't play it still love the videos though
Hooj I play lurking agents (cypher and Viper) depedning on the map and I reallty struggle telling my teamates that I have our lurk after they all try to go mid with me. Any advice? normally i'll say hey I have our mid/late lurk and then 2 rounds later our iso and raze are trying to run it down mid with me agian
I do the same thing sometimes with how I clear angles, but for me I know I do it because I feel confident no ones there like at 10:21 when Im rounding the corner, I'd glance at the minimap and feel confident no one is site. Thoughts?
@@sardonics69Not really? Not everyone is able to do that of course, it requires a lot of effort, concentration, consistency and an effective learning style. It’s definitely doable and doesn’t surprise me though, Hooj himself got to immortal in 4 acts- most are simply too “lazy” (for lack of a better word) to play to improve that effectively, though. It is genuinely _exhausting_ to do so consistently.
Rule #1 of Valorant: There is an enemy where you're peeking, always. Rule #2: There's also always someone when you AREN'T ready. Peeking with intent is goated
truthfully said mr banana. but i've been killed from slightly different angles so many times that my brain tells myself: "YOU DON'T KNOW IF HE'S THERE. HE COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! BEHIND YOU! IN FRONT OF YOU! in your mom's bedroom!"
As Mr Banana always says. Valorant is a game of statistics. It is okay to die to a guy holding an off angle if you made the right play. You give yourself the best odds of winning a fight and if you do that enough you will rank up.
I learn so much from these videos. I went from Silver 1 to Silver 3 by just heeding the advice of the videos I’ve watched. Truly, this man is the best banana on the internet.
I do this a lot. In dm I expect them, in comp I don't. I'll try to remember "its like using an OP" and I think it'll improve. Thats a good mindset to use when aiming.
This is actually a legit massive issue I have that I've only just started to fix, and I've finally started to get my cracked DM aim working in a real ranked game. My biggest problem was panicking as well as peeking badly as shown in the intro and then immediately crouch spraying unconsciously resulting in bodyshot hell 😭 Ever since I started anticipating, positioning and peeking like I do using marshall/awp my hs% has gone from around 18-22% to anywhere between 26-51% and I feel way more in control even if I do whiff my first few shots and then have to do the strafe dance with my enemy, it all feels so much less wild and out of my hands. Thanks for all these insane vod reviews and guides, they help more than you can imagine.
started watching woohoojin and changing up my training just under a week ago. seriously I have been loving the content. so much solid advice and reminding me of simple obvious things and learning things I hadn't thought about. I just started valorant like 1 and 1/2 weeks ago coming from CS I've lost 12 out of my last 14 matches. ^this is not a joke. I have been speed running losing elo since watching woohoojin apparently. LMAOOO this is uh...this is learning right? like, ignore my bear market, I'm learning ya? ROFL Also, I unlocked Kayo now who've i've wanted since the start but that's only the last 3 games. but hey look. no matter what any of you say, I hit the 20 bots benchmark on medium doing the peepee dance aim training yesterday for the first time so I'd say we're going places 😎LMFAOO. quick side note, Kayo for beginners guide? where I check?
omg hooj reprimading my bad callout behaviour in streamchat didnt make it into the vid :D, wouldhave been a bad example of the hooj community(9:50 just barely at the top of chat)
dead serious when I say this but if you're gold or platinum, find someone who is immortal who will flame the ever living shit out of you when you make bad plays, you'll become more aware of your mistakes trust me
Okay this is gonna sound so dumb but when you said do you look at the enemy's head when you fight them? i was like i'm pretty sure i don't and now i focused on it alot and it increased the duels i win by alot holy moly
while doing movement do you have to over or under-aim towards your target........or just kill the enemies with solely your movement?...because in my case even if I move correctly...trying to aim while moving just messes up everything for me and i just die
During the mid rounds is it okay to peek like the example in the intro? I always do it on mid rounds or if I think someone might be on an off angle. I've always kinda aimed liked that and I reached immo 1 few months ago didn't knew that was a bad way to aim ;-;
idk why this is but its infinitely harder for me to imagine someone there, then just peaking see they're there and then peaking again knowing where they are
Hooj has been an amazing help in my valorant journey, start of episode 6 I began taking this game seriously and placed silver 2, Your videos have gotten me to asc 1 and I can’t thank you enough.
I love the fact that these videos aren’t behind a pay wall, and the fact that The Almighty Banana even pays people to improve. Although I’m still bad bad, I’ve learned a lot from these- and if I didn’t learn it was entertaining with Wooj’s reactions.
watching woohoojin always inspires me to hop on valorant only for one game to go by and then I remember why I don’t play valorant anymore
lol same
real
Why is this so fucking true. Man that game is so frustrating.
went on a 5 lose streak and then plays 4 rounds of overtime to draw. very fun
real
The custom role on Innai was brutal 😭
but I can see how it would motivate him to improve.

Watching hooj has helped me from hardstuck bronze for two years to gold. Still low elo but it’s progress!

i cracked up when he said "they have 4 duelists and the ocean man"
I don't even play this game anymore but still, watching you always bring joy to me. Keep up the good work!

When Hooj goes frame by frame for his analysis anyone else just take the time to appreciate animations in the game and how they work?
I do the same thing sometimes with how I clear angles, but for me I know I do it because I feel confident no ones there like at 10:21 when Im rounding the corner, I'd glance at the minimap and feel confident no one is site. Thoughts?
mario and luigi is basically the same as apples and pears
Poor inai.! 😆roasted so hard.!
I didn’t watch the video yet
But I know it’s going to be good
Woohoojin is the Gordon Ramsey of valorant coaching 😂 waiting for him to call someone a fucking donkey
POV: Woohoojin helped you rank from bronze 2 to asc 3 in just 3 acts, and now you never skip a video.
holy shit, congrats man
Ngl this shi kinda sus

What do you do when you have that intent but it just switches to autopilot after peeking a couple of times?
"f-in ocean man" broke me
I love when hooj loses his shit and just starts tweaking like in 2:50 it's always so funny

it's weird how the human brain works.
The banana man would rather vod review this clients teammate rather than the client themself 😂😂
Imagine getting NTRed by your coach T-T
Damn whatd this guy do to you? Or you just wake up with bs on your lip

I literally coached a person and i said the same line , are u the guy Whoojin, did u troll me
i’ve been a lazy player hooj but i wanna be immo, i WILL be immo. one day ill send you a vod
this is the most helpful video i've seen yet, every single piece of advice was for me lmao
This is good feedback and all but ngl kinda mean delivery
If hoog reviewed me, I’d have to tell him I’m sensitive 😅
THATS JUST HOW IT IS ON GOLD OR EVEN PLAT. CROUCH SPRAY
guys how do i fix the aimlabs link not working?
2:47 bro the soundsss lmao
No way I just played jett on lotus and mr banana is here to help me improve that map already. Ty Bananaman :)

thank you for granting me your knowledge, Banana Man
Hey hooj me and my brother are hardstuck plat area and dont know how to sumbit a vod... we cant get out of play? what do I do?

It depends on what the target is doing. If you are fighting or holding an angle. Anyway, you should work on your micro adjusting and tracking
6th also im watching the video rn
everyday i learn something new with hoojs vids man
Play like I have an op got it
the way you just draw that tic inward makes my mind go kaboom
and with that we no longer train valorant players but valorant agents.

Woohoojin in my opinion is definitely the best Valorant content creator, he actually helps players improve at the game and the coaching is free.

woohoojin reminds me everytime when i load into a dm why i dont like this game (i keep forgetting to look behind me and i get one tapped)
idk why this is but its infinitely harder for me to imagine someone there, then just peaking see they're there and then peaking again knowing where they are
As the representative of the gekko community I learned something new today
I watched this already in vod but i will watch again for double potassium

thank you mr hooj, am getting better at raze everyday and all because of your tips!
