14:09 😂😂 I think I watched this just in time! Doing a new setup and needing a light, but have two flood lights in the garage! Thank you, sir! Great video!
@travisrichards6181 so glad you found the video in time🙌 and glad that it inspired you! Flood lights are an awesome alternative, especially when you have a few still lying around! Cheap, powerful and so easy to install👍
It shines well, but you should think about a background to cover the supports visible through the glass. Personally, I would hang the lamps under the shelf, or on shelf brackets slightly below. I am waiting for the continuation of this arrangement 👍👏
@martaxyz1157 The light is amazing, and the plan is to paint the back of the tank black once I re-scape it. I'll have to remove the light stands to do that then. One idea was to hang them from the shelf, though I might take them down,so the stands were the best option. But stay tuned for sure🙌
I love this. I am currently researching lights and considering LED flood lights. I wonder how your plants are growing. There are a lot of criticisms online of flood vs. lights designed for aquariums. They say the plants won't grow as well or too much algae. Like you, I am not worried about algae. But I wonder how your plants are doing. Are they growing well?
@GM-ww Firstly, thank you so much🙌the plants are doing great, and they are absolutely thriving. You can see the growth difference in my other video on my maintenance day, and this is without a nutrient-rich substrate layer. I've only added in a layer of sand, and still, the plants are loving it. It's a very easy and cheap alternative. Sure,a light designed for the hobby has its benefits as well that i don't have with the floodlights, like not being able to dim them is a big one... but I don't mind that. Definitely a option that won't cost so much as a aquascaper light👍🙂
I was going to say I would have stuck them under the shelf.. but the light brackets look pretty slick... and also they hide the wires nicely.. looks awesome fish room is looking lush
@BulusKursunlu believe me, it's killing me to take it this slow. Yet I wanna try and do it right and save as much money as I can. Plus, there is work, the other tanks, and the wife😅
Love the videos, keep them coming :)
@@chrisplanetfilm Will definitely do so,that's a promise🙌👍

How can you be so patient with gathering materials for the scape?
