Just bought the 125 gal from pet smart sale, for my Oscar and Electric blue Texas Cichlid. I also use pothos, elephant ears, and sweet potatoe vine, lol, Great info and you have inspired me to put even more "house plants" in my aquariums. You rock, if u were water, you'd be 600TDS😂
I know everyone prefers canister or sponge filters but starter kits usually come with hang on back filters. Can you do a video on how to modify these filters? Or is it as easy as swapping the carbon filter for foam?
very easy swap just put some ceramic and or sponge inn place of Cartridge, places like petsmart just want you to spend money on cartridges its 100000% more beneficial to have some bio filtration than chemical
