Here's the thing i am sure that Reggie doesn't know how to steal towns, and how to steal castles, so even with all this power, at best he will catch up in levels, so by wasting his power he will have done everything wrong.

2 weeks pass. The Darkling transformation ends. Reggie will be the same lvl as Minh, and will have 0 gold, 0 towns, 0 castles, 0 items, 0 field magic, and the same shitty equipment. The 3rd week will start, and Minh and Woolie will out lvl Reggie again because they have all their shit. Reggie will still have nothing.
96 XP per town he's landed on ain't bad compared to what I'm seeing a standard PvE encounter grant... plus he can activate at least a few Strikes or whatever. It REALLY helps to remember how the "STONKS" are totally fake and all that matters from them is the small DIVIDENDS woolie's sucked into his POCKETS

I think this is important to say cause there is a lot non information given in this game. For EXP again players. You ONLY get exp from fighting players if you are a Lower level than your opponent in order to prevent like grinding off completely on your people weaker than you.

Can't believe Woolie gave himself an L. More relevant Dokapon Clarifications: 1) Fraidy Cat causes the "Afraid" status ailment, which prevents you from anywhere that will result in a battle, such as red monsters on towns or a yellow square with another player on it. Landing on a yellow square by itself is no issue, as there is a chance of an event playing out instead of a battle. Should a battle be forced onto an Afraid player though, they are still able to defend themselves by fighting back with no limitations. Afraid lasts 5 days/turns, so Minh was still afraid when Woolie thought it had worn off. 2) Town Warp is an item that is used on yourself, and Squall is a field magic that Minh used previously to teleport a different player. I don't think they believe this anymore, but it only teleports you to a town on a currently accessible continent. This effect can be convenient early game, but frustrating late game, as you really don't know where you will end up. 3) 15:33 - this is classic Dokapon experience, you want to land on a specific space and can't and feel like the game is cheating you when it isn't. It will always display all squares you can possible move to. Usually you have to use a high number spinner and roll really well to confirm every single nearby square is available to land on. 4) 18:53 - They'll definitely have learnt this by now, but Poison cannot be cured by sleeping. Infact, Poison is one of the few status effects that won't be recovered by time. There are a few ways to heal poison, but for now I'll just say it can be cured by landing on Dokapon Castle, or using an applicable item. 5) 19:30 - oh no (oh yeah!!) 6) Now that we're really into Darklingdom, we can talk about it. Thankfully, their fear of spoilers was stronger than the spoilers themselves, as it really looks like they don't know much about the Darkling. Also thankfully, they're pretty chill about what the Darkling is able to do. I've seen people getting real salty about the Darkling mechanic existing and swearing oaths to "not use it", or take control of CPU's so that they can't use it. Due to the length of Dokapon Kingdom's story mode though, proper Darkling use is necessary for players that are behind to catch up. The best way to deal with Darklingdom is to just accept it as the necessary part of the game that it is and let anything that is lost go. You'd be surprised at how little losing towns, money, items and even equipment affects the overall game, and the inconvenience is definitely worth it to keep all players in the game. (of course, there are very effective tactics to minimise the damage a Darkling can do, but I won't divulge them and recommend no-one else do either. its unlikely they read TH-cam comments, but I'd much rather they look for their own tactics themselves). EDIT EXTRA: 45:50 - As they point out, this is a good hustle but realistically a small price to pay for getting a significant amount of ready cash for money you were unlikely to collect anyway. I'm worrying I'm going to run out of stuff to say :/ Maybe in a few episodes I'll just be making comments laughing at the betrayal and salt

Don't bother trying to time spinners or swap the who goes first card. It's all predetermined. I tested the game heavily using save states and the random seed is fixed from the start of the game, and attached to the save. Combat outcomes are even preset, though enemy actions in combat can sometimes be based on your attack/defend choice. The only way you can save scum the game is by choosing different options, but choosing the same options will always lead to the exact same results. And who goes first in combat will stay the same whether you swap cards or not, it's an illusion. I've heard a lot of accusations that the game is rigged in some way, and outside of some later ai designed to punish a thing that I will remain purposefully vague about, I'm not totally confident about that. I saw some situations in ai pvp where there is literally no good option, but even then, it's hard to say if that is intended or just a result of the random seed, as this is the exception and not the rule. Dokapon Kingdom can certainly _feel_ rigged, but I suspect it probably isn't, or at least, not to the degree that others might claim. Just because the results are fixed doesn't mean they're influenced by placement or anything else.
Oh wow didn't know about the cards being a lie, but I knew about the spinner. I tried to save scum once. I was salty for exactly 10 minutes and then I realized it was brilliant. Imagine trying to play this game and your friends just constantly reloading so they can get the right spin. It would be torture. Locking that shit down prevents that. Friendly reminder that this is like the 7th game in the Dokapon series. It goes all the way back to the SNES. The devs have probably learned a LOT by now.
