- Welcome aboard British Airways flight 213 with service from London Heathrow (LHR) to Boston General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport! As of March 26, 2017, British Airways became the first airline to operate the Airbus A380-800 (the worlds largest passenger aircraft) out of Boston with a three times weekly service! For those who haven't watched my previous trip report click the link here: • British Airways A320 F... ) My class trip to the Mediterranean coast is almost over as my class and I have one more hop across the pond back to Boston. I was super excited to be flying the worlds largest commercial airliner for the very first time and I was pretty bummed out that I had an aisle seat. Fortunately I was seated on the upper-deck and with the configuration of 2x4x2 seating and the fact that my seatmate was nice enough to let me record out of one of the windows, I was able to get some shaky but decent footage of the takeoff and landing! The flight itself was very smooth with hardly any turbulence! The cabin crew for the most part were very friendly when I interacted with them and they did an excellent job keeping the cabin and lavatories clean (one of my pet peeves) throughout the 7.5 hour flight! Being that it was a 3.5 year old aircraft, the cabin was almost completely spotless and scuff-free! I am very glad to have been able to get the opportunity to travel to the Mediterranean with my school as well as get the chance to fly on the worlds largest passenger aircraft on a newly-introduced route! Another great video, one of my favourite aircraft to fly on. I flew on this exact one in 2016 from London to LAX. The landing was very similar to that one, I've never had a smooth landing on a a380 so I hink its down to the fact its so heavy and has so many wheels.

Awesome review! Was flying on the A380 more comfortable than the B777-200? Those moonlighting that BA has on their A380 looks stunning though.
isaacflyaway Thanks for watching! While the seats and IFE were identical on both flights I would have to say that the more modern A380 felt more spacious than the older 777!

What A Hard Landing The pilot Need to practice again jaja 🤣🤣 im good at Aviation I think you too right
Flight simulator 4723 Flying the 4R approach into Boston is really hard in a regular airplane so taking into account they’re landing the worlds largest passenger plane... it’s more likely than not that the pilots are gonna slam it down onto the threshold and hit those thrust reversers like there’s no tomorrow :-) If I remember correctly too, the day that we came home was a SUPER windy spring day so that didn’t help them either.
