Bro I don't know why everyone makes fun of Nara when they can't even do the work she does. I mean she is a little weird but she is hardworking. Well remember all housewife in india, Bangladesh, Pakistan is tradwife thought. But she is a little extreme I agree. And don't hate guys pls .
@@fahadahamimtayeeba583 as an Indian, the housewives in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh shouldn't be glorified either. Young girls should be taught to think for themselves instead of being brainwashed into believing in a tradwife fantasy that's just a front for unindentured servitude.
To get the spice stains out of the counter, get a magic eraser, I'm not sure if they're different where you are but that's what they're named in the UK. It's non damaging, but does leave a fine white residue so it's best to give it a spray down and a wipe after also. I wish you luck 😭
Same here! No hate to her of course, this video is the first I’ve actually heard of her but I really disliked the voice overs! Feel like it would be better if she just spoken normally instead of doing this weird quiet husky whisper thing
I enjoyed this video. I feel like Alf is getting more comfy being apart of the whole filming process. I enjoyed how natural you guys were on film and the realistic look of how each of your dishes came out and personally I think you did a good job visually Tina !!
So if you take a DAMP, not wet, slightly damp tea towl and place it over the buns when they come out the oven, you get soft buns instead of crispy. You can check the buns til you are satisfied that they are soft enough. My mom usually does it til the bread cools down, but thats a whole bread not buns.
As a baker, it pains me to see you cut the buns before it cools down. Thats why it feels dense and gummy. You need at least 15 mins before you cut it so the steams can escape. Lots of tiktok recipes never fully explained overlooked crucial details, thats why i never really follow it.
Heirloom tomatoes are available even in places like Coles! So next time you are in Aus, try it! I grew up eating those since my mum grew them in the garden.
I think Nara is insufferable and her videos create the wrong expectation that all women should be these perfect housewives. But everyone forgets that she is not a perfect housewife. She is just a façade. Looking perfect is her job. She is not going to work from 9-5 and then coming home to clean and take care of kids and her husband and cooking everything from scratch. Please do not compare yourself to her Tina, you are great as you are!
totally agree plus I have no clue who is this woman in the orig videos, but how she speaks is hyper-super annoying... sorry to put this comment here, but that tone/style of speaking is DISCUSTING
I agree she's not a housewife at all. She's a full-time content creator and influencer. But I think she has lots of allergies, which is why she makes so much from scratch. That context makes her slightly less annoying.
I come from a long line of housewives and there is no way I would even remotely dress like that let alone sound like that, she sounds miserable she has no emotion, why? What does anyone want to watch this?
Agreed. Her whole thing is "look how perfect I am" when she clearly does nothing but make these tiktoks. That woman has no real life outside of content creation and it shows.
Yeah I was thinking of that of that ‘about to step out to grab a burger’ then proceeded to rest the dough and bake the buns and make the patty 😂 that’s like at least three and a half hour wait!
19:28 I made ice cream from scratch at home without an ice cream machine multiple times and a good trick is putting a bowl into the freezer overnight or for a few hours then pour the mixture into it then whip it either by hand or by using an electrical hand mixer which definitely is quicker and won't make your arms fall off.
I don't know, have no problem with Nara as everything she does is CLEARLY for entertainment only. Whoever thinks she's trying to persuade you that she really does all that stuff in a fancy dress is delusional. Having said that, why not take away something positive, like yes you can make so much stuff at home (maybe with better recipes) and it can be fun to experiment. Also no shame in wearing out your "good" clothes for everyday wear. ❤
I've gotten turmeric and sharpie on my white granite counters before 😅 things you can try -cream cleanser (like jif) or nail polish remover with acetone or rubbing alcohol. Obviously patch test
My daughter and I were watching this together and could not stop laughing! Probably one of my favorite videos yet. Double thumbs up to having Alfred in the kitchen more 😅

I'm sorry but this seems so funny to me that in every Nara vid someone's either craving this or that or running out to go get something and she's always there to save them the pain of going out.😂
I can't understand why people are so amazed by making food from scratch, it's smth very common where i live (algeria) we even make the sauce at home like mayo and all
The salt and ice method really only works if you’re doing a single scoop worth of ice cream. An easier way to do it without an ice cream maker is stick it in the freezer, but mix it every 30 minutes. It will take a while, but it will make sure it doesn’t turn out too icy!
There's a better ice-cream hack You can take some ice and put in in a bowl with some rock salt Then put your ice cream mixture in a bowl then put the bowl on the ice and mix until it is the texture you want I hope this helped someone❤
The whole dress up to cook reminds me of when we had Lockdowns in Australia (specifically lockdown 1) & ppl wore their best dresses to do chores around the houses but especially when putting their bins out 😂
That mochi dough looked like raw minced chicken😂. This episode for sure was from chaos kitchen.the video was really funny. I loved how cute lyla was with ‘yummy yummy 😋 ‘
Just for future reference, you never have to bloom (the process of adding it to warm water and giving it sugar) instant yeast. You just add to the dry ingredients like Nara did. It defeats the purpose of instant yeast if you have to bloom it first. I see people do this a lot. Regular yeast does need to feed on the sugar in order to be activated. Instant yeast does not need to feed before hand.
We did that ice cream hack when I was in high school as a chemistry experiment. It actually worked but the ice cream remained inside the ice/salt mixture for longer than 5 mins😅 I got to admire you're perseverance though for this video!💪
Have you done a video on making Chinese food? Polish food? Or African food? Mexican food? Normally I don’t make things from scratch if it takes more than 1hr unless it’s baking because baking is relaxing
Lovely 🌹 Tina, when you made the Kimchi "reveal" at the end, with your all natural look, and your hair down, you looked so so beautiful, with a lovely inner glow, adorable 💕 iI just had to congratulate you, you are the sweetest most beautiful pregnant Lady I have ever had the pleasure to see. (I'm 53, so that means I have seen a lot of pregnant women in my life up till now.) Goodness that wasn't supposed to sound creepy 😢
Please don’t be like Nara. She is so fake and irritating. You and your family are lovely and warm and REAL. You know darn well she has a nanny watching her kids and she makes those videos on a stage that is professionally managed. I really enjoy seeing you and your real life.
That's one good thing about my kitchen with countertops that are older than me, I don't care if I stain them. It is on the list of things to replace but then I'll be paranoid every time I cooked. When it comes to hamburger's I find that brioshe style bread buns are softer work out better. But good job at making everything from scratch especially the mochi ice cream. That felt really ambitious and you did a really good job.
Always in a good mood when tina posts

whoever told you that method of ice cream making only takes five minutes did you dirty lmao
Agreed. I've made it that way before as a kid and it definitely takes more than 5 mins.
It takes like 20 minutes and it's still icy and not creamy
It's like 15 to 20 minutes lol
Yeah we did this in 2nd grade and all the kids were shaking for at least 20 minutes 😂.. it was good though
I remember doing it as a kid and shaking it for like 20 minutes 😂😭
Depends on how much salt you add to the ice
I laughed soo hard when Alfred started laughing about the 6 hr burger 😭

Something about Nara's voice makes me deeply uncomfortable. It's trying to be soothing, but for me it's the same as scratching a blackboard 😅
Right? She just sounds annoyed to me, like she's one misplaced pickle away from having a meltdown.
@@Smittenhamster"one misplaced pickel away"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Her strange voice tone is totally creepy to my ears.... Eeeeeeeeek!
It's because it's fake.

The pregnancy glow is so real 🤧💞
I noticed that too, I'm so glad you did also.😊
I just noticed in Nara’s video, if she had made the pickles first they would have been ready by time to eat.
You look amazing in that sequin dress.
the video should be called i tried cooking like nara smith (reality version) lol
🤣

Thanks for the tip!
cooking like a how a true trad wife should cook! dragging the husband into the kitchen as well 😤😤
Her husband was popping out to grab a burger.....so 4 hours later he finally gets one?!? Wtf
Have you seen them? They're used to "starving."
I love these longer vids. Please incorporate them in when you can! ☺️❤️
I think sequin Tina should return 😂
🤣

I absolutely love you and your family! The fun and joy you bring to social media is priceless! Oh and Alfred’s health journey is bring the results!

The original girls voice kinda drives me nuts 😂 and who in the he'll wears that kinda dress to bed hahaha Tina you look beautiful as always
Frrr no one talks like that irl nor have a neat hair in the morning
To be honest I have to mute the part where she speaks because the voice is drives me insane 😅
I know you like to do makeup but you look beautiful without makeup too you should try & make one video like the part when you were trying the kimchi❤
U are glowing in the end of the video trying the fremented kimchi 😍😍
Omg when you guys get burned by the mochi 😭😭😭 so much commitment

Also for kimchi add more sugar to off balance if its too spicy 🥵🔥
omgggg love this duo. n trio when Zen here…..like u made me smile

Hey :) you have to put your baking tray in the oven the other way around (with the slanted sides towards the back) then everything will bake evenly.
you’re so pretty omg

Nara is using an heirloom tomato. Heirloom tomatoes are popular in California, but I don't know about them elsewhere.
It is always so fun to watch Tina's videos. They r relaxing & entertaining. Love it! 🎉
Alfred patience when you keep putting it in the oven 📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈
