Always love your reviews!
Might have to add this to the arsenal. Thanks for the insight Kai!
Does this camera support 24-bit audio recording?
Everyone! Let's bump their subs pass 1M! 😄
While we wait for the new apsc sensor with this screen and viewfinder
Brilliant!!! finally the EV I wanted has come out just before it's time to buy... few!!!
The mic is a bit crap so wouldn't use that 😂
maybe you could do another channel together doing other stuff like testing restaurants etc
If it put "with head tracking" instead of "with a unique AI feature", would it be less innovative ?
Lumix video featured the best
I bet that will overheat , can't see any vents or cooling fan on it?
The best vlogging camera in this video is Lok's Lumix S5 M2. Sony has some good gimmicks, but Sony has always sucked when it comes to stabilization, and the S5 M2 handheld footage demonstrates how valuable good stabilization is for vlogging. And the S5 M2 is more affordable, but best of all, the Lumix does not have fake cinematic black bar nonsense.
Brother! Love it :D
Amazing review ❤
Awesome. Is it better than Sony fx30 ? Please suggest I am planning to buy fx30.
#1 you didnt even watch the whole video let alone 1 minute of it and #2 the fx30 and the ZV-E1 are apples to oranges in comparison with the former being a CINEMA LINE focused camera body and the ZV-E1 being a freaking VLOGGING CAMERA. WEIRDOS!
If you don’t need full frame or plan on shooting in APSC/super 35, there’s practically no reason to invest in the zv-e1 over the fx30
Thanks Kai!
I understand why this product exists, but seems awfully pricey. The A7IV would be the better buy in most cases
Thanks guys!
Kai admit it. This is what you have been waiting for since you started your own channel! 😅
The price is quite high!
I can get the S5IIX including 2 lenses for €2990,-!
It also sometimes seemed to produce quite shaky footage.
But I’m sure overall it’s great (for who needs the features), and firmware updates will further improve it.
Cheers
But the rolling shutter is poop 💩 on the Panasonic. This Sony has better dynamic range, better AF and way better rolling shutter performance.
@@8020Alive Have you already extensively compared the S5 IIX (with its new features) to the Sony?!
Even if so…every product has good and bad. Every product can be further enhanced via firmware updates.
And for the price of the Sony with 2 lenses, I can have the Panasonic, lenses and an additional BMPCC for certain projects.
Also - in my opinion - the S5 IIX is more of a do-it-all camera than the Sony.
But…your mileage may vary…🤷🙂
Cheers
Can you use the ai auto tracking in vertical mode?
8:28 Kai this is a family channel broh. 😆 You can't say things like that. 😅
I was expecting open gate to record a wider view
Not to cut off the video with the fake cinema mode
Why are you pointing the lens toward yourself??
How is it for photography?
in the country i am in... the lumix one is over priced.... to heck.... because they looked at the specs and reviews because its a super niche thing here...
It’s expensive for plastic and only 12mp. The A7C is metal and double the resolution.
clearly aimed at video where mp are way less important. Plus it’s better for lowlight with less mp
"it's like a whale tail" lmao brought back adolescent memories of how we used to use that word back in the 90s/00s here in the states
The Honour x70 has the same touch to track within the frame also auto audio THAT WORKS.& a screen that can be seen clearly in daylight.. excellent stable.all for $260/320 in excellent condition new $360..the zv.1 costs $ 1000 !!!
Yeah already spent 1k on my Linux a few years ago.
He brings me into 2018s..))
The argument from your friend doesnt make sense. If you look at it that way than a A7 III or IV are also better..... But in which discipline???? This camera is not made for that, its not supposed to have a view finder. That kind of argument is bullshit. Again, with that logic you could just buy a A7 IV or A7C...
Its like saying "F1 cars are shit cause they cant drive offroad"
Long Story short, if you are a Vlogger than this is what to get.
9:55 Is it me or does Lok look like he has something suspicious on his coat... lol
Cnetone does look good though
Unpopular opinion… this camera is overpriced and not very impressive when comparing to other more affordable options on the market.
Isn't the RXR1 smaller than this?
I love this idea
I love cameras but I find I’m using my phone more and more.
Overheating is a big issue
At least u have to give Sony credit, where credit is due: Sustainability, isn't that the latest buzzword? Use an old sensor, 12 mpx from the a7siii, get a body from the a7c, pack-em-togethr--sell all new Sony higher mpx sensors to Fuji--jam some AI in it and push it out the door for a bargain price of $$$ two grand plus in the USA. 😎😎
Horseshit and BYD in the same scene is really apt 😂😂😂😂
Seemed like the perfect camera for me with the small size and all the features, but then the image... Colors look a wonky, like low CRI. Saturation looks uneven. Dynamic range looks cheap. Highlights look clipped. Bad skintones (reflective orange jacket isn't helping!)... Ruins it for me.
This camera makes me wish I had more money 😭
saya mau satu ....
15:07 - the satisfaction 🤤
No lenses for Panasonic and you guys didn't use the new super stability (extra crop) mode on sony ...
