Tesla does have a screen cleaning mode that will disable the touch when cleaning the display

Works pretty much as shown here. Bubbles require some real aggressive squeegying to remove though. The bottom of the protector shows the rim of the glass so it looks a little out of place but only ever so slightly - definitely a worthwile gadget 👍

You should put the screen in cleaning mode, and also use tape to remove any dust particles. After putting on the template, you're supposed to move your fingers back and forth, not just top to bottom.

the screen protector film would not come off the back not matter how much pressure I applied, so I could not get to the install. Eventually I put too much pressure and broke the screen detector.
