How do you prevent SOPs from just getting stored somewhere and no one ever looks at them again? Seems like that’s what’s happened when I’ve tried to do this in the past.
If you're using SOPs as just another thing to do, then they will never get used. They have to be a living , breathing document that have a purpose and objective assigned to them. They shouldn't be used to 'dictate' rather be used to educate and upskill your team

Do you hire an expert and have them help you build the processes and system? How do you think about this? Thanks!
Good question! Yes, ideally you will outsource that function to a specialist who can then support you in creating this for the long run. SOPs aren't just for internal employees. Every one who you have outsourced to, work with, contract with should have an SOP in place for that particular operation.

Hello, we're looking into this as it seems like we have some technical issues happening. If you're using Chrome as a browser, can you please try a different browser and see if it works, as it seems the problem might have to do with that.
Almost but not quite. If they were the same thing then there would be no need to have two separate words. A process is the steps you need to take. A procedure is the instructions of how to do each step. So call client is a step in the process. Sell service is the next step. This is a process. How to go about calling the client like interaction to set up a zoom link or how to dial a number via internet is a procedure. The sales script and how you behave on the call would be a procedure. They are different. One is about what to do (process) the other is about how to do it (procedure). Hope that helps!
