I was last in Guam in 1999, (just visiting). Was stationed there from 1981 til 1984. I did love my time there. Got married there. When my family and I left there. we went to Hawaii for 4 years. Loved it even more....... Good times...
I was there in the Navy, and a shipmate grew up there . He had the use of a car and we drove around the island. It was beautiful lush jungle to miles of empty shoreline . On the far side there was a man using oxen to plow his field.. Don,t plan to swim just anywhere, there are some nastys in the water. They do fence off areas from the greater ocean.

You need a large population to support passenger rail and metro systems. What urban areas on Guam merit that? The whole island only has just under 200,000 people. We are not talking about San Juan or Miami.
