Nice tour! I think the Trolley should stop at the Payless Supermarket you drive by on the way to the hospital. That one's deli has the cucumber/mango spicy salad, but the Micronesia Mall Payless doesn't. And tourists wouldn't have to hike from the beach hotels to it for groceries! Anyways....question...after Mawar the locals were taking their trash to a dump at the round-a-bout that you are driving towards at the end of this video.....what happened to all of it and why was there a trash dump on such (expensive?) land by the beach? And while I have you - have you done a video of the now closed (as of March 15, 2020) Tarza Waterpark? I didn't know it existed until I saw it on my hike to the mall when the Trolley wasn't running. The foliage on the hill overlooking it was gone and I saw the old slides and all. I looked up pictures and it looked beautiful. But, I saw there was an old lawsuit years ago....wonder if you know why it closed and if you have any videos of it when it was still open? Many adventure parks meet their demises from accidents. Yeah i think they should have more trolley routes that branch out to other parts of guam!
But yeah each payless in guam is special my favorite is MAITE location it has a deli and restaurant and cafe!! And yeah DEDEDO location carries Tokyo mart bento!
Very different stuff!! But yeah also!! As per the dump that was in YPAO point the trash and all that is still there its closed now but it was free..idk whats gonna happen to all the trash but to be honest when i drive by at certain times you can smell the garbage before or exiting tumon area.. its sad.. andd!! im not sure but i should do a walk around the back part of DFS and show tarza... and what remains as well as whats around there..maybe..just maybe!! Thanks for the video ! I use to live at Alupang Cove Condominiums back in 2000-2001 while I was stationed on Guam with the U.S. Navy. Loved my time on the island made lots of friends married my first wife in Guam. A Dungca from Tamuning. Been a long time since I been back. I live in Indiana. I miss the island of Guam !

Wow, lots of changes in Tamuning, bula condo’s. I’m not from the area but I am a SAS Raiders alumni and had lots of friends who lived in the Jonestown area. Back in the 80’s, I remember Al Dungca as the commissioner….they’re called Mayor’s now. Miss walking to the store after school when we had practices to get some empanada, kelaguen, spam sushi… Thanks for the stroll Mark!

Awesome Mark, thanks for sharing. to the right of farenholt is our old family house building next to St. Anthony's. Our old house building is the one with the white fence and yellowish walls with the staircase facing front at 8:06. Guam has changed since we left when we were in elementary school!

One of many reasons why I wish to move to the Marianas. Bcuz it's a four to five hour hop to Asia. BTW, the residential area looks decent, clean and livable.

I grew up in Tamuning but left for California 1985 when I was 15. It changed a lot from what I can remember. Thank you for the tour. It brought back many good memories😂.

Right. USVI St. Croix island to be exact gave off Floridian vibes. Misty a flat island, but still had some hills, not as scenic like St. Thomas.

How safe is tamuning?
Its safer than Dededo thats for sure.. but ill always say Tamuning is one of my and if not favorite places to be in.. its near the beach..hospital..friendly neighbors and also great mayors office.. yeah..its 👍 safe.
