    Definitely look at the metal braided hoses from Blu-Tech. The quick-connects are preinstalled so no adapters needed. They are super flexible and don’t kink or tangle. I have two short ones between the water softener, triple filters, and trailer and a long one to the water source. Fantastic system!

      Thank you very much! This was filmed in Feb and we have used the system since along with some Camco flexible hoses and have loved it. Will def check out the metal ones from Blu-Tech.

    I use blu all-was .clean water has been my hobby and part of my work for 40 years. I have only put filtered soft water in my airstream ever since I bought it one year ago. And never directly hook up the city water connection. The expansion tank I installed helps with making the water pump and system work better and more consistently. I added more resin to my tank to give you more capacity. I’ll be installing hot water return lines back to my freshwater storage tank so we do not waste any water. We may waste a little hot water going back into the tank but will save on our freshwater. Again, thank you very much. You are always helpful. Thanks for the post on my Michigan airstream Facebook about the furnace.

      Thank you for watching and your feedback. I'll post my video on the Blu soon. I have thoroughly enjoyed the clean water from it. I plan to add the shower misser to our rig soon as well. Thats a great way to save water.

    Love the Blu Tech water filtration.
    By chance, have you seen the MR3 that I've only seen offered at MobileMustHave?
    Same Blu Tech, but smaller footprint and all stainless housing matches nicely with our Airstream.

    More great content - Thanks. We did the factory tour in November 2022. Our International 2023 was on the flour during our visit. We picked it up at the dealer in Maine on December 15th 2022. Big Rain and snow storm in New Hampshire Dec 18 - 22, 2023. Trailer had a huge leak along the wall in the Front Bedroom driver side and over the Front Bedroom Window. Took it to the ME dealer 3 times over the summer and fall of 2023. They could not fix it and the floor in the front bedroom was heavily stained. Made an appointment at the Factory Service Center in Jackson Center OH. First available was January 15, 2024. They took everything out furniture, Bedroom and Kitchen fixtures. Took it to the Hurricane booth at the Main Factory to check and fix the leaks. Then back to the repair facility to replace the floor and reinstall all the furniture and appliances. We picked it up on February 19th 2024. Leak on Driver side seems to fixed. Leak at the front bedroom andn campsite curved window still has a leak. Very friendly folks at the factory. But I don’t have much faith in the Hurricane booth. I do’t want to make the 900 mile drive from NH to OH again so I purchased some Ad Seal and will attempt to repair the leak myself. I went and rewatched your roof . solar panel leak as a refresher. Wish me luck.

      Wow! Sorry to hear of the continued issues. I dont blame you for not wanting to make the trek again. You could also do an over pressurization test to see where the leak may stem from. Ive not done and but have heard 50/50 +/- opinions on it. Depends on who does it and how much pressure they use. I also believe that post "hurricane chamber' sometimes the travel and torquing of the rig can cause other leaks.

    @ThirteenAdventures Brad, do you how the water tank is attached? I’ve heard that they are not strapped to the frame but rather they are supported by the belly pan. ??? Any insight since you were there ??

    • @ThirteenAdventures
      @ThirteenAdventures  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Tha aluminum pan you see underneath is plenty strong to hold the tanks. The way they sit in the frame is very strong.

      @@ThirteenAdventures I ask because when it’s a full tank it’s quite a bit of weight 450 ish lbs depending on tank size. Some have added reinforcements and I had seen something posted by Ronnie at Airstream nuts and Bolts about a falling tank.

    • @ThirteenAdventures
      @ThirteenAdventures  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We travel quite often with water in the tank and they are engineered to handle that weight. We very rarely travel with over 50% though. If we are boondocking and need to carry water, we will fill the tank as close to the campsite as possible. Typically a few miles. I know of none where this has happened (it happened to me on a Keystone brand). Ill see Ronnie later this week and ask him about it.

      @@ThirteenAdventuresI look forward to hearing what you find. I’ve seen the supports installed with U bolts that I believe Ronnie recommended.

    • @ThirteenAdventures
      @ThirteenAdventures  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I chatted with Ronnie about this yesterday. He and I agree that its only necessary on the 50gal tanks on the 30' and larger models.

      Weve lived in all sorts of environments from 115 down to -15 degrees and have found them to be better than most RV's (except those specifically built for cold), its the many windows that cause the majority of the issues. Thank you for your thoughts though.
