Jim Gordon on drums, I have a great Jim Gordon story…
Back in the early 70’s when he was touring as Traffic’s drummer, I was working the gig at the Anaheim Convention Center, I do my job during the warmup acts and was free to hang out backstage during the show.
As Traffic was heading towards the stage Jim saw me and invited me to hang out behind his drum kit. As it turned out, his drum tech handled his drumming issues, and I turned out to be is booze tech, he handled me a bottle and told me to give it to him every time he turned around to me between songs and told me that I was free to help myself to the bottle, I was maybe 16 or 17 at the time.

Nilsson was a musical genius on the level of his contemporaries such as Paul McCartney and John Lennon etc. Almost no one knows about him because of his untimely death at an early age unfortunately. This entire album you're showing in the video is an absolute gem.
RIP Harry. You died way to young brother.

Alice Cooper was President and members included Keith Moon of the Who, Harry Nilsson, John Lennon, Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees. One of the most iconic songs, bass lines, and drum solos in the annals of Rock. You guys owe yourselves the treat of reacting to LCD sound systems 2011 cover, it's every bit the equal of the original. Harry jumped too soon! R.i.P.

as a viewer it's fun when you know what's coming, and get to see your reaction to it. i knew that drum and bass section would grab you guys. that bass was tuned about as low as it could go.

Review "Without You". This song and Jump Into the Fire, along with others, is on Nilsson Shmilsson album. You've heard the song I'm sure since Mariah Carey covered. it
John Lennon called him the songwriter's songwriter.
