Kiln opening is tomorrow. 😀 Crossing my fingers they look good. I tried a new clear glaze.

Really great video. Inspired me to try a little free hand painting. Would be great if you can post pictures of the piece once it's fired. I have subscribed and look forward to more videos. Greetings from South Africa

Thanks so much! I do show the finished pieces in the kiln opening videos, but yes, it would be more convenient for me to learn how to splice the finished piece into the original video. 😀 Thanks for watching!!

You used to use Duncan Concepts? How did you like them? I have about 100 bottles of it and have never used it. How did it work for you?

Presciso perguntar se posso usar underglaze quando a peça está em estado de couro ? Ou só em estado de biscoito ?

I'll try better to plan ahead and do it all in one video. 😀 I'm bad about that.

Great video! Thank you so much. Your videos are so inspiring! What brushes are you using and what size?

Thank you so much! Mostly, I use cheap brushes from Hobby Lobby or Michael's, that are made for acrylics. I have a zillion different sizes. :-) I splurge for the fluffy one I suggest using for applying the clear coat, and that's a number 8 Mayco fan brush. I have 3 of them, and they are the best!!!!

I am new to the making your own colored slip thing. Can you tell me if you added the white slip before bisque or after? I was told colored slip will flake on a bisque piece and should only be used on leather hard clay.

Hello. I apply the white slip when the clay is leather hard. Then I bisque fire the piece. After that, I apply the colored underglazes and a clear glaze.. You are right, you cannot apply slip to bisqueware. Slip is just watered-down clay.
