Mam, I have completed 12th from NIOS after that I have done five years integrated BA LLB. I applied for Advocate enrolment in Telangana Bar Council, they have rejected my application stating that NIOS certificate is not valid ! Some students have filed a case but they have kept it pending ! What further can we do Mam !

Sadly when i was checking for my daughter the response is sunit not there in Aurinko and it always made me wonder why. I sent the reports etc but zero response and made me feel bad to chase them. And the most disappointing thing is the fee structure why would they charge double the money as compared to mainstream school where more efforts are required. Can anyone respond ? Feels like schools are now making this a big business of NIOS which i feel should be offered at less cost considering the flexibility and the less pressure in teachers and the school. Why on earth are you guys charging like a 5 star hotel
I am new to understanding the NIOS system too so I am not sure about why they are being unresponsive. But I have worked for special needs students and one thing I can be certain of is that mainstream schools definitely are not the ones that need more effort. A fixed curriculum in mainstream schooling implies hiring a teacher who has knowledge in a particular subject and decent group teaching skills. Meanwhile for holistic learning, everything from school licensing to BCBA approvals, and Individualized Education Program curation, which in effect may need Assessments like 'preference assessment', 'functional assessment' etc. all add an extra layer of complexity. Unlike mainstream schools, skill improvement will be more rounded in taking care of the student's natural tendencies and strengths and aiding them via those factors. For that, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, BCBA-approved ABA supervisors, Psychologists, and Psychoanalysts can all come into the picture; not just a typical teacher. Besides, unlike mainstream schooling, a child is offered an individualized education program (IEP), that may involve both a psychologist, a professional in special education, and a teacher to form that individualized program. Mainstream schooling only worries about the subject itself while boards like these care for not just the subject but how it is taught. Thereby, requiring a wide array of professionals and a pay that reflects that need.
