Hey, I enjoyed this video however I have one complaint. The Gas Crater in Turkmenistan isn’t fully natural feature because it was unintentionally created by the soviets as a mistake when they have been digging for natural gas
The Netherlands: you mention the Waddenzee, but show images of Kinderdijk and the "zandmotor" (artificial beach which will errode and push sand allong the coasline for protection). It would be nice if you actually show the Waddensee itselves.
the polder is very ugly. the sea is dirty. roads and people everywhere. no wildlife to speak of. no land over 30m. all rivers re coursed by humans. it isnt nice.
Mexico has so many things is difficult to choose. Cenotes, the Central volcanos, Sierra madres, Cabo San Lucas, Mayan riviera, La laguna, Cooper canyon,etc... But overall yes, cenotes and the whole asteroid crater is very impressive.
The pictures you see of the Grand Canyon do not do it justice. It is simply stunning. But I would have gone with Yosemite or Yellowstone instead. So much to do in those parks.
You should do this for the partially recongnised nations (Kosovo, Taiwan and Palestine (not Vatican City as it is just buildings)), well known islands and country dependencies. Also Wales, Scotland, England, Northern Island and Isle of Man.
I think Trinidad and Tobago's most recognized natural feature shouldn't be its tropical coastline, but its La Brea Pitch Lake, the only air- exposed pitch lake in the world. Rather than just another country that has beaches...
I think it'll better if you featured chocolate hills for the Philippines, instead of El Nido , since it's unique. You'll not see anything like that anywhere else in the world .
I am singaporean and i agree it is tough to find something impressive about our geography, but here are some interesting geog facts (not necessarily features) but here you go: 1. Our Central Catchment Reserve - tropical rainforest carefully preserved in the heart of our heavily urbanized island 2. Our lightning strikes - we are the most lightning-prone country in the whole world 3. Our location - lying at the shipping crossroads between China and India
I'm glad you picked the Wadden Sea for the Netherlands, but what's impressive about it is not that it's 'a pleasant coastline' but the fact that it's full of tidal flats and wetlands, creating an area that's extremely rich in biodiversity and constantly changing with the tides
"Its coast along the Waddensea is quite pleasant however." Shows a picture of the sandmotor/sandengine that is not near the Waddensea at all, nor an actual picture of the Waddensea or the islands. 😂
I am disappointed that you chose the overrated Ha Long Bay for Vietnam. Son Doong Cave is by far the most impressive natural wonder that is unique to Vietnam. Moreover, it is quite unspoiled and protected against mass tourism, unlike Ha Long Bay.
I enjoyed the video but think it is too short and hurried. Next time please spend some time on the different places nominated so we can enjoy them. Thanks
Even though Trinidad and Tobago has some of the nicest coastline, I would have chosen the Pitch lake as the most impressive geographical feature. The Pitch Lake is the largest natural deposit of asphalt in the world, estimated to contain 10 million tons. It is located in La Brea in southwest Trinidad, within the Siparia Regional Corporation. The lake covers about 100 acres and is reported to be 250 feet deep
I would have picked jellyfish lake for Palau, rainbow mountain for Peru, Pamukkale for Turkey, Giants Causeway for UK (northern island) and lake Maracaibo for Venezuela. All the features you picked for the video are still amazing tho
For Sweden I would have instead chosen Rapadalen. A really iconic and beautiful valley in Sweden in the Sarek national park. Its also in the middle of the laponia area, an unesco site and one of the most wild areas in Europe.
I don’t think it would win the top spot, but the new river Gorge in the United States is pretty impressive, it is spectacular to drive through, especially in the fall, I’ve been there, and I was not disappointed. It’s a very unrepresented spot, but if you want natural beauty, that’s your place.
Alternatives: - Russia: the Black Sea coast - USA: Garden of the Gods - Spain: the Costa Brava - Italy: the hills of Tuscany or the La Maddelena Archipelago - Netherlands: the Veluwe N.P. or the Lake of Naarden (Naardermeer) - Croatia: Adriatic Coast, mainly Vis Island - Germany: the Lake of Constance (Bodensee) or the Great Bend of the Saar (Saarschleife) - Namibia: the Okavango Delta - New Zealand: Fiordland N.P.
For starters, the Atlantic would be the largest ocean on Earth as there would be no pesky Africa landmass dividing it from the Indian Ocean. Meanwhile, the scramble for Africa would have been quite different as a scramble for Hawaii seems like a much shorter venture.
@philtarpehdixon7441 If anything, the scramble for Africa would probably be conducted by Asian powers rather than European powers this time. It might also take longer for America to be found by Europeans, considering if the Crusades still happen the way they do, Europeans wouldn't have to go around Africa or find an alternate route to get there.
I can't say about other countries, but for the USA the Great Lakes are pretty dang impressive. They're not as deep, but they hold more water than Lake Baikal. Lake Superior is the largest freshwater Lake by surface area in the world. And it's still fairly pristine. The grand canyon is danged impressive. But the Great Lakes might have it beat. I don't know. Close.
So Trinidad and Tobago has the largest natural deposit of asphalt in the world known as The Pitch Lake. Our coastlines (not featured in the pictures shown) are hardly our most impressive geographical feature.

I have got to agree with you, having been to both and visiting the lakes more for its proximity, but the lakes has nothing on the highlands, effectively being a small sample of it. I'm sure the creator picked it as he went there rather than the Highlands as the Lakes is probably closer for him, despite the fact that the Highlands is so much bigger and contains everything the lakes has and so much more.
K2 doesn't belong to Pakistan it's on illegally occupied gilgit baltistan region which belongs to India and the international community doesn't see it as Pakistani territory, it belongs to India.
12:00 Taiwan 🇹🇼: Taroko Gorge If you only do UN country, your title should be every UN country, not EVERY country. As a Taiwanese, i’m seriously offended ngl
Straight up misinformation in this dude. Where are you getting your information from if you think cenotes are formed by asteroid fallout?? Also please attempt to pronounce things correctly
For Montenegro, that's the first time I've ever seen the name Kotor and I didn't immediately think of "Knights of the Old Republic"
Hey, I enjoyed this video however I have one complaint. The Gas Crater in Turkmenistan isn’t fully natural feature because it was unintentionally created by the soviets as a mistake when they have been digging for natural gas
Trinidad & Tobago's feature should've absolutely been it's pitch lake
monaco is smaller than nauru
Monaco is smaller than Central Park in NYC.
Showing google maps for some places is wild lol
The Netherlands: you mention the Waddenzee, but show images of Kinderdijk and the "zandmotor" (artificial beach which will errode and push sand allong the coasline for protection). It would be nice if you actually show the Waddensee itselves.
Yeah how did this guy not notice that a river and a sea are not the same thing.
Er, Mt Scenery on Saba, an Island in the Carabean, that is still part of the Netherlands itself! A vulcano
@@Quark0611 It's part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, indeed.

Chosing the Lake District over so many places in Scotland is wild 😭 14:13

"Its coast along the Waddensea is quite pleasant however."

I felt the same for Costa Rica when he chose Arenal over Volcan Poas
Not mentioning The Danube Delta for Romania should be a crime
Mexico: Naica Kristals
pretty cool. i enjoyed both videos. thanks.

What kind of person makes a video of geography without confirming they can correctly pronounce the names of all the nations of the earth?
A Brit

Why no Vatican city?
It is just buildings and man-made structures so no geographical features to be found.
Also it has observer status only to the UN
@@IsabelJones69 it doesn't have a pond with some goldfish?

Sao Tome Peak does look pretty impressive.

The Turkmenistan crater is practically manmade, it's basically mining waste byproduct set on fire

MAYON VOLACANO

TAAL LAKE

TUBBATAHA REEFS

That's not Monaco in the video. You are actually showing Menton, which is a french town near to the Italian border, a few km from Monaco to the east!
and moments later he goes on to say that Nauru is the smallest nation in this video.....what???? sigh
