- Charlestown is a beautiful little fishing village just a few miles from St Austell on the Cornish coast. There are many independent stands that line the harbour side with seating, little bars, food stands etc. There are also many pubs in the village and 2 lovely beaches, with crystal clear calm waters, perfect for sea swimming.
This is my first visit here, I am so glad I came and will definitely be back. There is lots of on street parking available and a public car park at the harbour front.
Another one on my “must visit” list! Thanks for the excellent video tour.
You’re very welcome ☺️
What a beautiful little seaside town. Love it the views are spectacular. Thanks for sharing with us 😊 😀
Glad you enjoyed it. It’s a beautiful place 😁
What a nice place
Beautiful 🤩
🥰🥰🥰🥰😘😘

On my last visit to Cornwall I was in Bodmin hospital getting a tick head removed from my leg after I failed to remove the tick intact. The nurse treating me recommended Charlestown and said it was somewhere the locals go to get away from the holiday makers. I didn't have time to visit on that occasion but having watched this video I definatly need to go there. Cheers.
Ohhhh dear! I really dislike ticks, they love me too! Hopefully next time you can get a visit in, it’s the cutest little place & the water 😍😍
I used to live 3 miles from there. Went to watch them filming Poldark, it was “Truro harbour” in the series. :-) Another awesome video!
Ahhh thankyouuu
Hi Char, thanks for the Charlestown video! Do you remember that we might want to visit the place next year? We are looking for something small and quiet. If you have seen good accommodations, then send me the names. Thank you 🤗
Yes it’s a beautiful place, you should definitely check it out on your trip over here next year, it’s very close to the Eden project. You would both love it there! 😁
Great video 😊
Thankyou so much 🥰
Hopefully they don’t relocate the dingy men there.
You never know…
