21w seemed to match the best, the 21n was way too light & looked pink when applied all over the face. I wouldn't of gone neutral or cool for her skin at all... but maybe that's just me.
I really like mine. As a seasoned woman, it does not settle in my fine lines but AFTER I learned how to use it. I started with a very, and I mean very, light application and slowly built up the areas that needed a bit more coverage. I did learn something new watching this video, though, and that was to tap out the product on the underside of the cover.
It could be the lights. They can change your skin tone. In my profile picture I don't look how I look irl. I'm darker but the lights are too white. I used a foundation that is a little bit darker than my skin tone and still the lights changed it
First time I used this, it was FLAWLESS. I used a resurfacing vitamin c mineral primer and chemical sunscreen. The second time I used the cushion, I only wore a mineral sunscreen and omg! It was hideous!!! Aged me about 100 years lol. Edit: I wanted to add that I believe 21W was more your shade. The one you used was too light, indeed.
I just got mine today in 21N latte .. im a light complexion with neutral undertones. Id say the 21 n leans more warm/yellow. It is very light on the application. I'm going to try this technique tommorow
This is perfect ❤ I ordered one after watching this clip 😍 i hope I found a match direkt, otherwise I have to order a trial kit from another country 🙈🙊🙉
All the comments saying it’s too light seem to not have the knowledge that Korean beauty standards will go lighter. It’s called toning up. The idea is not to match your current skin tone, but to lighten and brighten your skin.
What I don't like is that they don't have like any samples so you are guessing and picking your color because just because you know your color and other brands doesn't mean you know your color in this brand
They do have mini samples in sachets. I just bought mine. It has 9 trial packs ( sachets) so you can try out and match the colours to your skin. 1 sachet can last you about 3 full face application, depending on how much you use per application. I find the trial sachets very useful. You can also buy the mini cushion (4.5g) as a trial before deciding on the full sized cushion (18g)
Are u suppose to keep patting with the sponge? I tend to just take the sponge and smear it across my skin like im using a brush cuz i feel like patting motion doesnt spread evenly
@@LunarOrihimegirl we are the same. I cannot dab my products because that’s exactly how I get the ‘patchy’ look lol! And yes i moisturize so I don’t get it either
This wasn't the right undertone and shade for you. All I can think of is that you deliberately wanted to look a little paler. Doesn't always work, not when the undertone is in question.
Sorry to say you, that it's not your tone. You probably are 23N because if you take a look to your forehead line, it looks more dark than your face. So you need a darker shade 😊
im one of the guilty ones tht use a shade lighter... but to be fair I grew darker due to the sun 🌞 darkest part is my face, and idk how yall can have your face lighter than your hands.
She talks about how to not get it to oxidize.... it still oxidized on her lol the shade she chose was too light when she first applied it and by the end of the video you see it's not has light as before.
That’s the wrong tone for you. Your skin tone is yellow undertones and that foundation has pink undertones. Looks greyish on your skin. Can also see the different tones between your face and your neck.
That’s like saying a dessert you made sucks. Yeah it probably tastes terrible if you didn’t follow any recipe, doesn’t mean you can call your cake mix terrible
@@crystalvulpix20 why can’t cake mix taste terrible? Normally it needs adding only water/milk and butter, so it’s unlikely you fuck them up. And well, it still takes less effort to apply foundation, so your argument is pretty much invalid

yes i totally agreeee
@@Sugas_teasame but I think koreans want to look lighter so
@Dashomin but if you go lighter it should still be your same undertone- unless the brand doesn't have a lighter warm shade(?)
Thats the goal. East asians want yo look paper white
It could be the lighting also
Seems a tad too light for you

How does tapping it on the cushion pallet stop oxidation on the face? 🤷♀️
I'm enjoying my Tir Tir, great product.

Well, yeah. That's how they prefer it. But it's also possible that her lighting is making her face lighter, which I've seen happen before.

Asians always use 1-2 tones lighter than their skin tone to appear ‘fairer’.
21W is your shade match because you have a warm or olive undertone. 21N made you look pale because it's too light and it's not your undertone :(

Thank you for the tips. I saw so many people apply wrong then called it a bad product

I'd love this in a sheer to light coverage. Do they have anything like that?
Try applying with a damp sponge to get a more sheer look

That could be true but it doesn't look natural, regardless of what "Korean beauty standards" are.
21W is your perfect shade
What I don't like is that they don't have like any samples so you are guessing and picking your color because just because you know your color and other brands doesn't mean you know your color in this brand
YesStyle has a sample pack for these, but it’s mostly just the light to medium range.

For the girls saying the shade is too light for her , it will oxidise in a while and will turn darker

No. It’s too light but they live that “white mask” look.
You could go 3-4 shades darker. You’re not 21N
