There’s actually a few MW2 weapons left in the game. In some of the levels with Army Rangers in theme, they can spawn with M240s and can pull out M9s as their sidearm. In the castle mission, you can find the MW2 versions of the UMP and the L86. (You can tell them apart because they use MW2 Acog models.) Lastly, the MW2 USP is used several times in the campaign. In fact, in the training course mission in Spec Ops, you can pick up both the MW2 and MW3 USP at the same time. You can tell them apart because they are modeled after different models of USPs and have different laser mounts.
Not sure if you knew this but you can dump the maps that have these weapons and then turn off the lockon feature so that you can fire every single of them.
I’m not exactly sure but I’m assuming that either 1) some weapons are only made for the ai to use and cant be used by the player or 2) the weapons are only usable under certain conditions such as when you are in an ac130 or something

Yeah also in some specops missions there are weird mixtures of mw3, mw2 and bo1 weapons and sights.
