Waves is a great pack, its just different than UAD, I think UAD spends more time on emulating analog gear, UAD has more to offer in my opinion, but Waves is great for on the road as it doesnt require a specific device.
Funny thing ... He said he is not a technical producer ...!:0! But I still find im wondering in every song how did he processesd this that . He is very well aware of what he is doing to the sound ...but can you go on how you go with mixing and processing ...because your music has that analog feel which doest hurt ears but still sounds huge and full.... :)
I bought the Sonnox Inflator native but hadn't had the time to try it, yet. From what you said I assume that the GUI of the native version does not work properly?

It does, but you need the UAD one, the regular one needs a dongle or 32 lives which always in the end makes it instable !
