What I take from this is Afrojack couldn't take an hour out of his schedule too finish titanium and Guetta almost had a heart attack.

But Afrojack is a pretty energetic DJ. his sets are rocking
The lesson here is: everything has gone wrong and, yet, it was perfect.
Afrojack was too lazy, SIA didn't wanted to be famous and Guetta didn't knew how to use Windows.
The only one here that achieved what he wanted was Afrojack (go to parties). SIA became that force of nature and world renown artist. Guetta won 2020 best DJ of the world award and is a legend (and still hates windows).
That's a great (original) theme for a novel or film. What happens is meant to be, no matter how we feel about it -- and sometimes, it is fantastic.

Titanium is very emotional for me because it reminds me of a very bad period in my life when i had an accident with very bad injuries, 11 surgeries and 4-5 months in hospital, then the hard rehabilitation, learning how to walk again etc. I'm a religious person and God has comforted me in so many ways. I believe that He's led me to hear this song at that time to cheer me up and ... oh how it did! David Guetta says it's his most special song. I don't know many of his songs, but I definitely think Titanium is special. Very positive memories out of a very bad situation.

This is definitely one of the best dance tracks ever, it has great lyrics and a great sound. Many other tracks have nonsense lyrics that just fill some empty space, but Titanium is so deep and emotional. I think that's the reason of its success.

This was the first time I heard Sia snd she blew my world when I started listening to all her music. Sia is absolutely amazing and will always be one of my fav singer song writers.

I don't remember the exact circumstances of when I first heard the song but I remember this: Hearing the guitar in the beginning was like a gateway to another universe. Insanely beautiful.
To this day, whenever this song plays at a party, people freak out when they hear it. It's an absolute masterpiece.
For me the part that makes this song extra special, is that tiny fx in the chorus every 2 bars. Kind of like a “zoom” sound. Sure Sia’s vocal was unbeatable and perfect production but that little piece is what I wait for when it plays. Instant classic.

This song means so much to me. The week I turned 20 I went to Rome with a few people I was stationed in Italy with. I had just gotten there a month prior and everything was fresh and new. This song was hot then and it was playing every night at a bunch of different clubs. Even though I don’t remember it much it was one of the best weekends in my entire life and this song expressed perfectly how I felt then. Hearing it brings back so many memories and feelings man and it’s something I’ll carry with me forever. Thanks for making this 🙏🏼

I remember seeing Sia in a festival a few years before that. We were waiting for The Roots who were on the same stage after her and I knew some of her tracks from club remixes (like I drink to get drunk, maybe buttons). She wasn't hiding her face, she was barefoot, and just unassuming on stage and giving a good performance.
No one else I was with knew her or her music and it seemed like most people there were waiting for The Roots (and Radiohead who closed the festival)
A few years later those same friends were huge fans, like almost everyone else...
