Many people forget that music and electronics are also drugs. Everyone needs to find the right music and the right drugs to add to their lives to be their best that God created them to be; and also live their longest, otherwise we die either way too young, or in far too much excruciating pain. Some people need to lighten up on the rules so the rest of us can live.

I remember, almost 30 years ago, I was totally overmotivated starting playing electric guitar at the age of 16 I Bought all the Albums of the world's biggest guitarists, malmsteen, Vai, satriani etc.. They were great, but I felt there was something missing, as a beginner I couldn't tell what it was... Then one night lately I was zapping through TV and suddenly there was this country music looking guy with the hat on.. It was SRV live at Rockpalast 1984, I watched the whole concert, then I understood what I was missing in other guitarists playing.. Changed my life forever.. Thank you Stevie

It's now 2022 and I'm back because Stevie Ray Vaughan is timeless imho and watching this video for the 100th time is just as mesmerizing as the first time I watched it...It just never gets old or boring no matter how many times I've already seen it. Reading the comments that people leave on SRV videos is a testament to the impact that Stevie made on this Earth. He literally changed the world and left it better than it was when he got here. More than three decades since his tragic death and his message is more relevant today than ever before...people of the world..WE are ALL brothers and sisters of one big family and love and forgiveness is our only hope for a better world to live in.
2024 I can never get enough.. I own a lot of his CDs. I have a couple regrets in my life very few actually: one is I didn't get to see SRV. and I have seen the best of the best except him. My younger brother who played lead guitar introduced me to SRV.. also died young. His whole band and SRV just gives it ALL THEY GOT all the time. really just blows me away. and I don't use drugs (never did) or drink. (never did).. I LOVE GREAT MUSIC.
When I’m in my car traveling up I-35 interstate going north to Kansas, I put in a cd and crank up the sound and before I know it, I’m home. Makes the trip more enjoyable than anyone can think. Thank you SRV for your music. You are sorely missed. 😢

Every once in awhile I love to go back and watch a true Master at work .If only the younger kids could understand how great of a writer and musician he really was Ty. SRV. God Bless
Today's mob won't understand. It's more important to see dance moves in songs somebody else wrote that had no musicians involved. They won't see how this guy didn't actually play guitar, he managed somehow to channel everything from his heart and soul directly out an amp. Nothing he does is scripted, rehearsed or normal in any way shape or form
Eric Clapton said Robert Cray saw him in the hallway back stage and said “you want believe the show SRV is putting on out there”. They both returned to the side of the stage along with other guitar greats and watched in awe SRV putting on the performance of a lifetime. He played better than they’d ever seen. That morning on the way to the sound check SRV casually said out loud “ I had a dream last night that I died and lots of people came to my funeral”. Go figure.
The fact that Stevie doesn't have to witness or live in this absolutely upside-down lunitic society we now find ourselves in brings a bit of resolve to his untimely death....R.I.P.
I'd go with the Mocambo show, just so intimate. I had the privilege of seeing him twice in London. Played Rude Mood as a greeting/entrance, just playing with the frets, other hand shaking hands with the audience.. Still miss the guy.
This is sensational of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble..On stage is where this legend gives you a perfect performance with his Strat that doesn't miss a cord..Stevie Ray Vaughan is the best of Blue's and rock..What talent is going out over the airways..Stevie is a genius on music and learned by the best through his young years before he was taken from us..God bless and RIP Stevie Ray Vaughan..u are sadly missed..but..still out in the airways..
He played lick’s while singing that very could play while just playing. An awesome around performer. Greatest blues performance ever. I am 80 and still love him. Got to see him in Austin and so glad I did. RIP SRV.
My wife and I saw SRV & Double trouble 3 weeks before he died at the floating amphitheater in Tulsa I had just dropped her off at O R U and was listening to John Henry's blues show and he broke in and said Stevie was killed in a helicopter and I had to pull over and cried a while then I called my fiance and told her and we both cried like babies, he was the best in my humble opinion !!
I had a ticket to see him (and Jeff Beck) in London about two weeks after he died. I'll never know what it was like to have seen him. The best indeed...
I was driving home from work... heard the news on the radio after Rivera Paradise was played. I didn't know why , but while the song was playing I had goose bumps.. then.. the DJ..( the guy who used to play records on the radio kids) came on and broke the news. It was all I could do to not drive off the road.....
I listen to Stevie Ray every day. I watch these videos and still cry. Such a loss... His talent and passion will never be matched. Anyone notice that he dropped his pic near the end of Superstition. Around 30:40. He finishes the song perfectly, of course. Fantastic performer & such a kind heart. Him and the great guys in this band were amazing together. Miss you Stevie Ray...
SRV what a brilliant musician he was naturally gifted. Hard to believe he's been gone 30 yrs ! But what an impact he left on us. Musicians with this level of talent bring people together to enjoy the universal language of music. Plus humbleness makes it all so special. True what he said about ❤ love!
It still feels like a few weeks ago. I cried, like he was family. I feel blessed to have seen a couple of greats, in my Generation; Jimi, Stevie, and several others.
I am amazed at how SRV goes right from one song to the next without skipping a beat and of course his fabulous band is right there with him. Every concert I've witnessed SRV and Double Trouble are flawless. I keep wondering what keeps him from falling out due heat stroke, I get exhausted just watching him play. He is truly missed, gone but never forgotten, RIP Stevie
I was Blessed enough to see him a couple of times. He became my favorite.....and still is! He put everything into it from the first note to the last! IMHO he was simply the Best that ever lived. He carried a message of Love and recovery from addiction. I have nothing but Love and respect for him! He lives on through his music and through us! God Bless SRV!
I like Steve. A rare charisma and personality placed at the service of his undeniable talent for music. We must thank Stevie Ray Vaughan for his existence and contribution to the Blues music. Without it, the style of much of what is done since the nineties until now, would be different. In the Eighties the Blues was a little reviled, in "crisis", after the brilliant decade of the seventies, Steve appears with his demolishing style, with his overwhelmingly disguised technique, and puts the Blues back in the place it deserves.
Little Sister is busting out and going out to the world ..sensationally good, don't you think so..band is fantastic..rhythem and sound is explosive..love the keyboard sound ..Stevie Ray Vaughan is perfect as to what he brings to his fans on stage and he puts all of hisself into his beautiful music and the beat is out there without a doubt..2021 and still going stronger then ever..RIP Stevie..your so missed
Awesome..here we go..Stevie Ray Vaughan is the singing and strat guitar legend that is sensational..what entertainment Stevie gives on this stage is phenominal..Double Trouble playing and not missing a cord or a beat..rhythem is explosive and everthing moving on that platform on stage like vibrations ..RIP Stevie..I'm still watching and listening.
My favorite song here is "Ain't gone n give up on love". It shows the main thing I love about SRV. His improvisation with blues soloing. It's just pure inspiration moment by moment.
Phenomenal entertainment with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble..every performance is incredibly sensational..beautiful music and Stevie's guitar keeps with the beat..strum on Stevie..the best guitar playing and, singing you ever encountered in 2021..never forgotten ..RIP
This is officially my fav video because of the speech he gives at the hour mark during Life Without You. Stevie will never die because what he left us is so powerful and continues to make a difference in the world.
I was there . I'm so happy to find this .. Spring break 87. It was a free show.. SRV opened for The Greg Allman band.. Stevie lit the place on fire. It almost turned into a riot during the intermission.. I have seen alot of shows , but this one is Special for me..
When Eric Clapton says, There’s no one on the planet better than Stevie Ray Vaughan, you should believe that shit !
I do. My brother and I saw Clapton in concert several times. Stevie Ray blew his doors off without even trying or even thinking. The man was an open heart/soul to something wonderful. Love to all Stevie Ray fans out there b safe and happy.

+alroy65 It took blood, sweat and tears, to get this good, today's generation wants it easy.
fucking amen!!!
Don't worry ;) some kids still appreciate real innovative music as oppose to today's disposable, so called "music"
Well said, Hes dearly missed
He played with all his heart , soul and LOVE!
Go figure.
Absolutely amazing!
The fact that Stevie doesn't have to witness or live in this absolutely upside-down lunitic society we now find ourselves in brings a bit of resolve to his untimely death....R.I.P.
Best hands that EVER held a Fender. Miss you man.
HEY JOE.....WHERE YA GOIN WITH THAT GUN IN YOUR HAND ???? LoL....nice post bro.... Sincerely..... Joey hehe.
Any friend of Stevie is a friend of mine. Austin City Limits is my favorite show, I saw it when first broadcast on PPS. ATB man.
I'd go with the Mocambo show, just so intimate. I had the privilege of seeing him twice in London. Played Rude Mood as a greeting/entrance, just playing with the frets, other hand shaking hands with the audience.. Still miss the guy.
Joe Brown After Jimi.
RIP SRV.
When we had Stevie Ray Vaughan here in the United States. The other side of the world had Gary MOORE.THOSE TWO TOGETHER WOULD BE AWESOME.
SENSATIONAL..as always..Stevie Ray Vaughan cant stop being all that he is..and that's SENSATIONAL
For Real you can see from the first gig after he got out of rehab he praised the Lord on stage and was clean till the day he went to HEAVEN AMEN
PEACE
I believe he could crack bottles with that vibrato in his playing. Awesome.
First rate performance . Praise the Lord I was able to see him in concert several times.
PTL is right, I also am a Christian .. you were blessed. I am glad his performances on UTUBE.

Simply AMAZING
Best version of "Ain't Gonna Give Up On Love" ever!!
That style came from his good friend Albert King.
The band is Awesome...professionals doing what they do best..Stevie Ray Vaughan at his BEST
"Life without you" blew me away
My wife and I saw SRV & Double trouble 3 weeks before he died at the floating amphitheater in Tulsa I had just dropped her off at O R U and was listening to John Henry's blues show and he broke in and said Stevie was killed in a helicopter and I had to pull over and cried a while then I called my fiance and told her and we both cried like babies, he was the best in my humble opinion !!
gday i saw stevie at the wellington town hall, new zealand back in 1985/6 i cant remember xactly.i to was gutted when i heard the news.cheers mate
Are you Mormon?
Electrifying performance!
He may be gone but his music will live on forever.
I still want to cry when listening to the master❤️🔥
It still feels like a few weeks ago. I cried, like he was family. I feel blessed to have seen a couple of greats, in my Generation; Jimi, Stevie, and several others.
@@lynnpuerner8521I AGREE WHOLE HEARTEDLY 🎸✌👍👍😎
I am amazed at how SRV goes right from one song to the next without skipping a beat and of course his fabulous band is right there with him. Every concert I've witnessed SRV and Double Trouble are flawless. I keep wondering what keeps him from falling out due heat stroke, I get exhausted just watching him play. He is truly missed, gone but never forgotten, RIP Stevie
I love the story Jeff Beck tells of their tour together. SRV said you don't need all those amps. You need some bridge cables on that guitar!😂❤️🔥
That Strat is plugged into his soul & pours out of those speakers.
Joe Brown Ain’t that the truth! Well said.
Excellent put. This is exactly the comment what i still waiting for.
Thanx man! 👍
Amen😇😇🎼🎶🎵🎸🥁🎹🙏😎🌍soul . spirit. Blessed
YES HE DOES!
I'm still listening in 2024...
Love you SRV
RIP
He is and will always be the greatest to master the six strings he played.
"Live without you" (starts@50.50) for unknown reason by far my favourite song in this concert.
SRV, bluesman pur sang! Love it all over!!
RIP Sweet Stevie. Thank you for all that you left behind, a giant amongst men. Fly on
❤ 6:53
Stevie was truly one of a kind still no one can touch his music he was powerful and untamed just a real class act
I LOVE SRV
When I watch SRV and his band playing it is absolutely mesmerizing. 💖💗
Will be inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year 2015 on April 18th.... Much deserving!!!!
Oreilles débouchées en 2015, il était temps de retirer la cire.
Never get tired of listening to this man's music. Miss you man.
Man, Stevie was nothing but heart and fire!
Only once in a life time Stevie was most assuredly spoke fluent blues like none other. He was the top of the top. That is a fact Jack.
The KING of Texas blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not only is he an AMAZING guitar player but he's also an amazing entertainer. Deadly combo. What a fucking badass
Still and always will be my BIGGEST musical influence
There's just nobody even close to being as great as Stevie Ray Vaughan....sadly missed and continually will be ..miss you Stevie
Ñòthìng short of awesome ❤
Little Sister is busting out and going out to the world ..sensationally good, don't you think so..band is fantastic..rhythem and sound is explosive..love the keyboard sound ..Stevie Ray Vaughan is perfect as to what he brings to his fans on stage and he puts all of hisself into his beautiful music and the beat is out there without a doubt..2021 and still going stronger then ever..RIP Stevie..your so missed
Lucky to see him twice that year!!
Stevie was not only a great guitar player he was a great person! A class act..
What talent has passed on
Awesome..here we go..Stevie Ray Vaughan is the singing and strat guitar legend that is sensational..what entertainment Stevie gives on this stage is phenominal..Double Trouble playing and not missing a cord or a beat..rhythem is explosive and everthing moving on that platform on stage like vibrations ..RIP Stevie..I'm still watching and listening.
My favorite song here is "Ain't gone n give up on love". It shows the main thing I love about SRV. His improvisation with blues soloing. It's just pure inspiration moment by moment.
Was there
The house was rocking
Stellar performance
Saw him twice once at the festival of the lakes with the Thunderbirds and his brother Jimmy Stevie was simply the best and I truly miss him
He was the only reason I could tolorate David Bowie's "Let's Dance".
David helped launch SRV, I believe that was Stevie's first accreditation.
jajajajajaja
Dont forget China Girl
32 people gave this a thumbs down WTF I wish I could play half as well as SRV I would be a Guitar God!!!!
They crazy as shit house rat on acid all I know ! Cause Stevie was the best there was !!!
At 22:03 when Tommy and Reese look at each other and smile while Stevie is just in a zone, riffing away!
Purely magical!
Yes, I caught that , too !
@@deanriley7656 haha the allmans must have shit themselves when they realised they would have to follow up this.
Amen and God bless! Srv
This version of Willy the Wimp is freakin’ heavy! I love it!
