I’m in awe that this video was made 2 weeks ago? Like I’m using a tv my parents got in the 90s and this just happens to be made as I’m needing it? Thank you so much a literal life saver
You're very welcome. I had been meaning to make this video for a while but kept procrastinating. Glad it was helpful!
I used this video to help me change the language 😂 I had the omnivision without FM. Still worked! Got the tv for free and cleaned the head and now it’s working like a charm…and in English 😎
That's awesome, I'm glad you got it working!
Life saver my guy. Couldn't find the manual for this anywhere.
Glad this video could help you!
@@OrangeSodaKingany idea what would cause the screen to not display fully? Like it's cutting the side's off of mine once I switch to the input even thought I'm outputting a 4:3 video. It's displaying like 3:4. I can't seem to find a way to adjust it but I'm guessing it could be a problem with my output source.
Lifesaver!!! Ive had this tv for years and lost the remote ages ago. Thank you so much!
You're welcome! I'm glad this helped you
Just wanted to say thank you! I have this exact same tv and no remote so was trying to hook up an nes but could figure out how to switch the Input mode with no remote. Your great!
Thanks for the comment! I am glad this helped you. Panasonic did us all a real favor by including the capability to switch inputs with the buttons on the TV... something Toshiba often doesn't have!
Dude just fixed up a old Panasonic and I was bummed that I didn't have a remote! Thank you!
Haha, this video is perfect, thank you. I bought myself one of these brand new as a high school graduation present in 2002 to use for gaming when I went to college. Which I did, for many, MANY hours of Halo, Halo 2, 3, Gran Turismo 2/3/4, lots of GTA, several Zelda games on Gamecube, RE4, etc etc etc. I kept gaming on it until probably '08 or so then it became a bedroom TV for nightly shows, where it served that purpose faithfully but less and less frequently. Then, I realized that the last time I turned it on was 2018(?) for the winter olympics. Well, today, I fired it up again and hooked up my old SNES and am rocking Super Mario World all over again, even without the long-lost remote that disappeared during one of the many moves this TV endured. This thing is a tank. I can't even guess how many thousands of hours of run time it has. Still works perfectly and is worth more now than it was when I bought it. Amazing.
I have had this same model and have been scouring reddit for answers and you posted exactly what i needed! bless you and your entire family⭐️
Thank you for watching, I am glad this video helped!
Thank you so much, I was completely lost for months until I found this!
You're welcome. I'm glad this video helped!
Dude, this was exactly what I needed. My piano teacher was getting rid of her son’s old one of these, and I took it thinking I’d use it as decor, but then I found out it still works! Hooking the PS2 up to it now for NFS underground!
Heck yeah! Happy PS2'ing. And how cool, I am also a pianist and piano teacher. I have some older recordings on my TH-cam channel.
@@OrangeSodaKing That is cool! I’ve been learning since 2010. Once I got the tv working, I played need for speed underground 2 for … a despairingly long time. Gosh, sometimes old games are more fun than new ones! Well, old by my standards. It came out before I was born!
Thank you so much didn’t think I would find a video to fix my problem!!
You are welcome! That's exactky why I made this. I had trouble figuring it out myself, and there was no video I could find to help, so once I finally got it, I decided to make one myself in case anybody else needed help. I am a bit surprised by the amount of comments, but am happy to have helped so many people! Thanks for watching and commentinf.
I was about to toss this thing after accidentally throwing out the remote! Thank you!!!!
Great thing you didn't toss it! You are welcome, enjoy!
Just scored this for $25 with no remote, thank you so much for this video!
You are welcome, glad it helped! Thank you for your comment
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED THANK YOU
You're welcome! Glad this video could be helpful.
Just saved this TV from being tossed out at work, this helped me give it a new home ❤
Oh good! Hopefully the VCR still works... VCRs and DVD players that are combined with TVs often aren't made with great parts, and are also hard to get to repair, so they go out more easily than separate VCR/DVD players.
Now I found a reason why I should adore you
I wish I could give 100 likes on this. Thanks to you, my wife can watch her Dallas DVDs on that old TV. You know what they say about a happy wife.
Enjoy, and you're right regarding happy wife! Mine prefers the large flat screen TV, and I prefer the old CRT TV... thankfully, we have room for both.
You are a lifesaver bro, exactly what I needed!
Thanks for watching! I am happy this video helped.
Omg, thank you so much for the helpful guide through this!! 😭
You are welcome! Happy CRT'ing!
Dude you're a legend. I'm setting up my old tv from when I was a kid to play gamecube games and this helped a ton.
You are welcome, thanks for the comment. Happy GameCubing! I just use my Wii as a GameCube.
@@OrangeSodaKing Thanks! Funny enough, my wii is in worse condition than my gamecube, so I use my gamecube for gamecube games and my wii u for wii games.
YOU’RE THE MAN!! thank you so much 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You're welcome, glad this video helped! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you for this! I just picked one of these bad boys up off FB marketplace. No remote of course. You rock!
You're welcome, enjoy!

You're welcome, enjoy!
THANK U SO MUCH SO HELPFUL
You're welcome, I'm glad the video helped you!
Classic retro gaming, watching Jurassic Park on vhs is just epic !!!😊
This little TV looks fantastic for composite video input, and VHS tapes look great, too. Now I need to try out my NES via RF instead of composite and see if it's better than RF on my JVC D-Series...
You are a hero to me
I'm glad this video was helpful for you!
Thank you sooo much!!
You are very welcome!
Bless your heart
Thank goodness!
Geniussss thank youuu

Omg thank so much
You're welcome!
Thank you!
Now that I setup my Ps2 on it and holy I gotta say the games look way better on CRT and not aged like on my newer TV 😂
Yup, they look just as good as you remember 20+ years ago. You're welcome, I'm glad this video helped!
@@OrangeSodaKing Thank you again!!!
Hi friend!! Lovely video, marvelously helpful. Do you know how or where I can find out how to do the same on the slightly different pv-m1358w model?
I googled the manual for that model and found this. Scroll to page 17 of the manual, near the bottom:
www.manualslib.com/manual/191771/Panasonic-Pv-M1358w.html?page=17#manual
I’m interested in picking one of these up, is there a way to get that green light to stop flashing?
Assuming that is the exact same model as mine, that is the Timer/FM green light flashing, and I honestly have no idea how to get it to stop! I just put up with it. I may look into that next.
I wish my toshiba vcr had this, it needs it's remote to access its imput, ill have to wait until it arrives from ebay
Sorry I missed this comment. I recently had a Toshiba 13A21 CRT TV, and it required a remote to switch from TV channels to AV input. I have heard that other Toshibas are like that, too. Hopefully your remote works for it perfectly!
Do you know how to do it on a 14" Fenner a combo with a Dvd player?
I don't, but I might be able to help you in the right direction. What is the model number of your TV?
TY 🫡
You're welcome!
Mine is stuck on the program Timer and it's an older model. I haven't seen any videos to help
I am so sorry I missed this comment months ago. Did you ever get it resolved? If not, what is the model number of your TV? Is it a Panasonic TV with Omnivision VCR combo like this one, or something else?
@@OrangeSodaKing I just unplugged it and gave it a week and plugged it in and it started up like new. No worries
i have te model PV-M1327-K, it doesn't work, do you know how get into that mode on model PV-M1327-K
I had a little time to search online, and so far, I found a couple other people with the same issue. It might be like the Toshiba TV videos I recently posted, where you MUST have a remote because the front TV buttons do not have the ability to change... I will look more when I find time and see if I can find any more info!
i have the remote, how do i connect it to the tv?
Is it a Panasonic brand remote, or some other brand remote? What is the brand and model number of the remote?
my tv doesn’t have that as an action, what should i do
Is it a Panasonic brand with Omnivision VCR combo similar to this one? What is the model number?
@@OrangeSodaKing it’s a PV-M1368, really the only differences i can see between mine and yours are the buttons
@@OrangeSodaKingi tried a universal remote and that works
When I change it to line my n64 still doesn’t show up :(
Nvm guys just unplug and replug your tv in thank you so much ur a life saver 🙏
@@floppywater1219you're welcome! Glad you got it working, but just in case for the future:
In addition to being plugged in and have AV cables connected, the N64 must have a game, jumper pak or expansion pak, and maybe even a controller all plugged in just for it to display any signal onto the TV.
If you do all of that and it still doesn't work, take some isopropyl alcohol (I recommend 90% or higher) and q tips and clean the contacts of your game, pin connector, jumper/expansion pak, and pin connector for jumper/expansion pak.
N64s are built like tanks and almost never have a serious issue with them. Same with game cartridges. Almost always, the issue is just needing some cleaning on pins/pin connectors
Thank you so much for saving my day. You got the point of view perfectly! Haha
You are welcome! Glad this video helped you.
