Dude we need a video on how to convert the 3880 to DTF. Mine is sad and lonely sitting in a corner because idk what the f im doing lol
Thanks for the info bro. Very informative. Now in search for a 3880.
Love the 3880!!! Only downfall are figuring out those ink cartridges!! If you have any further questions or wanna chat further make sure to join the discord!!!
@@Lumedia where is the discord
Love all the detail in this video.
Unfortunately I don’t. But it’s essentially the same on all printers remove the pizza rollers. And get a refillable ink system. The two main differences with this printer are as follows. 1. It has a reusable waste tank, so get a reset module. 2. When you buy the printer make sure that it comes with the OEM cartridges. You will need the chips from them for the reusable carts.
That’s the answer to your other comment, thank you for watching!!
No worries. Thanks for the great informational video.
Where did you purchase those cartridges?
Where did u buy your ink cartridges
DONT SHAKE THE CARTRIDGES LIKE I DID!!! Apparently I was doing it wrong lol!! Instead of shaking just rock them back and forth a few times!nAnything different you do for your maintenance? Join us on discord!!! discord.gg/5uTQB2Gy

I just got the 3880. Where can I get the acrylic exit tray?
Great Video. Question. Would you happen to know the ink channel setting for Acrorip 10.3?
I hope you read these still. Last comment was a yr ago. Does the EK Print Studio RIP work with both the Epson 3800 an the Epson xp 15000 ?
I just picked one of these 3880 without original ink cart where can I find chips so I can use refills carts?
Was wondering i have the same 3880 printer running pigment ink do you still have to run the Matte Black ink cartridge MK or you can just fill & replace the matte black with solution like you did and not have to worry about Purchasing matte black ever again and just use photo black for everything you printe Or do you have to always have both Matt black and photo black to print as I have the option to buy 8 bottles of ink cheaper as it don't include the matte black or 9 bottles of ink that do Includes the matte black ink but its more Expensive
hey what are the color setting for it on a acrorip 10.5 i put KCMYWWWW and its not printing the right colors
Did you figerit out the color setting on the printer for acro rip 10.5 becouse i have the same problem
What is the colors arrangements on Epson 3800
Hi. I have an Epson stylus pro 7880. I want to convert it to dtf. So I understand you have 4 white cartriges and the other 4 regular color. This is how you fill the cartridges with dtf ink right?

Hello friend,
First of all I want to thank you for your teachings, blessings for you and beautiful family.
My friend the 3800 is really an excellent machine to convert to DTF?
I ask you it because I live in Germany and I have the opportunity to buy a fully functional one for 190 euros and I would like to know if I should take this step!! Greetings and thanks for everything,
Wilson
Brother i just purchased a 3880 myself and i was wondering after taking the cover off how did you manage to make the front panel stay erect and stable much thanks in advance
Thank you for the valuable info.
Thank you so much for watching!
👍Good Thanks bro ;)
Thanks for watching!
Really cool information brother! Have you tried made in America ink by brother Ernest? He said it is proper for DX7 heads.

how are you not getting the paper load error with the direct to film, film. My printer is no seeing it. When I load regular paper, it's fine again. Please help. What your setting and properties. Love from New York.
Hey brother just saw this. Clean the feeding roller with some alcohol. That’s what helped me!
Good video
Thank you!!
I have a 3880 with refillable ink cartridges, the printer is used. How do I flush the ink out of the refillable cartridges to convert to dtf?
and do you use a icc profile
I have an Epson 3800. I want to convert it to DTF Transfer. I've already retrofitted the ink tanks. Now the printer pulls the DTF foil through without printing and reports a paper error. Do I have to set or convert something in the Acrorip 10.3 program on the printer that I may have forgotten? Ask for help on what i can do. Many thanks for your help. Greetings Thomas
Good video... I have a question...I see that you have your ink setup... WWWWKCMY.... FROM LEFT TO RIGHT..... I have Epson 3880.. & Acrorip 10.3..my ink. Channels.... From left to right..is. . KCMYWWWW.... That's what I was told and seen..plus the program has it in that order.... But my colors is not printing right.... I have purchased the service amusement program... Done about 12 ink discharge... & Still no colors are printing right.... Please.. what am I doing wrong...I'm just buying lots of ink for discharge...with not one good print yet... thanks
That’s odd. Make sure that you select the 3880A selection and it should show you the correct orientation. I can help you quicker if you join the discord!
@@Lumedia I have a 3800 with acrorip 9.0.3 I have to communicate with printer but for some reason it prints like a small portion of the picture like 1 inch. The pic is all in the red lines etc. I can't figure out why. Any solutions? And yest printer does come up in selecting printers. Please help

Great video I have 2 3880s and 1 3800 and a L1800. I have the exit tray too I built my own
Nice!!!! I have the 3880 an r1800 and a 7800 I just picked up!
@@Lumedia score!!! I been had a 9600 that I been sitting on forever! I’m thinking about switching it over to dtf. Cant wait to see your video on it!
@@AmbitionCrafting Yep thats coming hopefully next week! Super excited to start with it. Im currently on the hunt for an xp15000 since those are becoming very popular lol.
@@Lumedia they definitely are popular but I would say save your money! It’s not worth the hassle. Here’s the snake of my Dtf group would love for you to join! DTF Cove
@@AmbitionCrafting Is that on Facebook? Honestly I would only pick it up for education purposes. I love my 3880 to give it up lol.
Have you had any issues with any of your printers up until now? Basically 3 of my printers clogs every 10ish prints. I run a head clean and then the nozzle check looks good. Start printing again and then around 10 prints later, clog again. Tried changing cartridges and ink but it continues to happen. Very frustrated.
How much did that printer go for?
Are you chipless?
You're creating bubbles when you shake it like that. You're suppose to rock the white ones not shake.
Yea I have been told already!!! 😩😩😩 funny thing is I’ve been doing it that way for almost half a year lmao. Thanks brother!
@@Lumedia Only reason I know that is because I use to work on a Roland LEF-20.
I will definitely stop shaking it like that lol. Thanks a bunch!
Can you should your printer settings in acrorip? I’m also using 9.03 but my channel setup is kmcy wwww which is the opposite of yours?
I am looking for a recommendation since my print head is clogged in yellow ink. help
Best thing I can suggest is soaking it in head cleaning solution over night and being patient. I have delaminated a few print heads by being inpatient lol.
I see in vid had ink door error how did you resolve that im having that error
just put a little piece of tape over the button.
@@Lumedia what button do have pic i just went look I didn’t see nothing
Hi would you buy one of these that has been sitting for 5 years? It's for $50
Yes I will buy it
Yes I will buy it
Please don’t shake them like that. That creates clogs in your lines. 🤦🏻♀️ just flip them 180 a few times
Been doing it for about 4 months and no issues lol. But thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely do that instead!
