I think I'm going to go with this addon now because I saw a review sometime ago and felt there was a lot of possibilities for it but the reviews seemed to be hesitant to give it a true thumbs up. Like your videos, thanks for the entertainment. I noticed around the eight-minute mark that the camera was bouncing around quite a bit but the engine nacelles were not, this seems a bit off to me but I do see where FSRealistic does do some things very well, much like A2A's Accu-Feel did in FSX. Not exactly great flying weather yet you did like a champ, well done.
I would think its an "always on top" mode after tabbing into it due to all the effects and audio changes you can do whilst you have the plane in different states to mix your wished for volumes better 😊 Also FS Realistic becomes so SO SOO much better when a more fine tuned profile is applied rather than the standard asobo / fs realistic profiles given by default :D It has both the possibility of blowing your eardrums out with way to loud stock presets , and feel rather nice at the same time , but I'd suggest going into the applications effects tab and exploring the differences between them to more realisticly apply effects to different airframes and engines :D Oh and as always , thanks so much for keeping the content up
Yep - there's a ton of customisation you CAN do - but 90% of people are just going to switch it on and expect wonders. The same people that plan flights in the world map screen, press CTRL+E to start the plane, engage autopilot, and expect the plane to fly itself from A to B.
I just completed an instrument flight from Cobb County (KRYY) to Chattanooga (KCHA) in TERRIBLE weather in the WB-Sim C152 and with FSRealistic running. AWESOME! I was given the ILS RWY20 approach, and was approaching the glideslope from below, at 3,000 feet, when suddenly a microburst (or something like it) shot me straight up in the air, and then flipped me and sent me back toward the ground, at first inverted and with the autopilot trying it's best to recover us. The funny thing was that, unbeknownst to me, I had a female passenger hiding somewhere in the plane, because she started screaming like a banshee!!! LOL!! I disconnected the AP and then decided to land us, after cancelling IFR, and instead of at KCHA, at Dallas Bay Sky Park (which currently reports no fuel available) because . . . well . . . any port in a storm, and I had a pocket of okay weather. We landed on the runway, and then took a tour of the grass next to it, but in the end nothing got hurt. I'm falling deeper in love with this sim!
FSR seems a great addition when flying smaller aircraft. I downloaded the demo last week , but I (try) to fly the FBW A320, and it really made next to no difference to the sound environment. A few extra rattles on take off, and that was it ! Oh... the sneeze, the pilot sneeze... why??? Also noticed the option for Crash Effect screams? Not very tasteful but at least that can be disabled!
I flew yesterday at Boonville in the JN-4...if I had been using Flight Realistic..I would have got sick. The wind was crazy with quarter crosswind. .Probably had the Jenny stopped in 20 feet. Thats a very interesting apllication...Thanks!
first of all I can now fly in the UK since an aircraft which has has a BA Livery . :) ok ok based on Your reviews and some others I have purchased the Carenado Archer II and that's it for a long time cause I do have a dentist appt comming up and it will cost a few quid from cleaning and an xray since I hadn't an Xray for awhile well anothe spot on video as usual.

Once you're in radio range, the needle "comes alive" on an old gauge, and there's sometimes audio cues at different markers. On a Garmin it's supposed to switch from magenta GPS to following the green LOC ILS radio down in your flight plan. Also normally have to be at the correct altitude to capture the glide slope, but not the lateral LOC.
There's a bit of debate about the exact use of language - modern systems will have "capture" as a status - or will change mode once within bounds of the "feathers", going in the right direction, and receiving a clear signal. Generally speaking, if you're within the bounds of the feathers (look at the airfield charts), and have a clear signal, and the NAV instruments reflect that, you're good :)
FSR is a great bit of software, I used since released, but I don't any more.. Why you ask.. I read a devs post about it and he said the problem with FSR is that it moves the whole aircraft and that can interact with the aircraft systems especially in a study level aircraft.. So I tried not using it and got used to default again.. I would have to say FSR is fine for basic aircraft but anything above to study level I don't use it..
The add on itself is pretty good to be fair for mainly the camera effects and the sound effects on the aircraft.. The only thing I hate is the screaming passengers when flying an unrelated aircraft like a fighter jet but that can be switched off and the sneezing always make me jump. I do like the add on so did buy this as I enjoyed this on X plane 11. I Wasn't keen how they pulled the x plane version from steam and left me with a useless add on that couldn't be activated anymore. Tried emailing them but was ignored and steam wasn't interested. It is what it is now and don't really touch X plane much these days. Only good thing is I purchased FSrealistic from Justflight who are typically good to purchase from and have an activation code this time round.

I'll have to give FS Realistic a try. I actually HAVE been wanting to get out of the aircraft and do a walkaround, but not in that wonky 3rd-person view.
I am not 100% sure but I suspect Fsrealistic v2.1.1 is responsible for some random crashes for me as of late. Crashes Have happened on odd occasions within first person mode and inflight. I really enjoy this add on and hope another fix can be issued again.
The developer (Roy, from Israel) did *exactly* the same with the X-Plane version of FS Realistic. Launched it to great fanfare, made some much needed updates, then just disappeared, with many bugs still existing.

They have a free full-featured trial you can do. I did the trial and liked it so much I bought it the next day.

@@joby1387 No - it makes the camera move. And adds extra sounds. Wind, airframe sounds, brakes, tyres, etc.
