while i agree with hawkeye being green i have different reasoning. Hawkeye should be deathly afraid of his surroundings. Aliens, gods, monsters, robots etc. He is just a normal man with a bow and arrows. Yet he ignores the fear and powers through with his job as an avenger. This shows great willpower as he overcomes the fear of the crazy that surrounds him.
Should've re-watched the movies for you get more of an idea of Hawkeye during his little pep talk with Scarlett Witch. He understands how much of a gap there is between him, his teammates, and his enemies. He accepts the fact how easier he could die yet he chooses to fight with the Avengers. That's why you give that man a green lantern ring. Plus with his arrow, and the power of will, he'd become... Green Arrow ehhhh? XD
Jason Boudreau like he said “the city is flying, there’s an army of robots and I’m here with bow and arrows” or something similar. No one would do that if he didn’t think that he could make a difference and not lose his life in a meaningless way And for that someone needs hope. He hope to save someone He hope that he won’t die He hope to return to his family That’s my opinion

There is no one in the avengers that have a bond like Nat and Hawkeye. Its all based on opinions I definitely use to ship them before I started watching the movies. The compassion corps doesnt choose based on a strong connection to compassion, but a lack of which. So because of that he would be especially denied to that corps
I like the way you’re thinking but as Martjin Alblas said they choose due to lack for compassion which he reminded me of which is counterintuitive if you think about it
Actually there have been examples of people joining the indigo tribe because they have a lot of compassion, but they're rare. Example is Shane Thompson, and John Stewart who temporarily had one given to him

What lantern corps should the X men be in ( Wolverine, beast, cyclops, jean grey, professor x, iceman, storm kitty pryde, Quicksilver, angel colossus, rogue, deadpool)
Agree all except Hawkeye who should be compassion. From his mission involveing black widow where he didnt kill her to hiding his family from the world to his specific choice of arrows depending on his foe o his sode he chose in civil war (cared for others and wanted help when he could not after permission). While will is a good suit indigo (compassion) is better.
You would be right but Indigo rings are the Weirdest instead of Choosing people with Great Compassion like any other Lantern they choose people that have total Lack of Compassion and the Rings basically make them feel Compassion and realise all of their wrongs and reforms them
I think he would qualify, and could be one, but I think him. Ejng a symbol of hope is way to accurate. It really depends on which you think is more of a main trait in who Steve is
it 's more love then Compassion. from what I can remember Love can corrupted, Hope/Compassion cannot. It's why Natasha should be Hope/Compassion and not fear lol. honesty none of the Avengers should have The Yellow Ring and Crossbones should have Rage ring.
I think that Iron Man should be in the Indigo Corps of Compassion because the results of his actions allow him to draw empathy and make him choose the decisions he does like being pro Sokovia Accords, and destroying the other Iron Man suits so his weapons will never gets anyone hurt or corrupted by his tech.
He destroyed his suits not for others. But for one person. Also he made more suits. Pro sokovia means his compassion is limited. If he was compassion he wouldve tried to find a different way to settle this like cap did. He wasn't all against either idea just the effects on his friends, he wouldn't put someone at risk for anyone else to be safe, hed only put himself.
@@JaelinBezel Guilt is born from empathy. If you never care about others, you can't feel guilt. You can regret in so much as making a mistake which hurt yourself, but guilt is inherently build on a care for others. You feel guilty because I felt you wronged someone, or hurt someone.
I feel like Cap should be a Green Lantern. His most iconic line in the MCU, “I can do this all day”, is literally about how he has the willpower to constantly get knocked down and get back up because he has such a strong will and tenacity
Aaron Innuendo Bood X Men: Compassion Prof X - Father figure and telepath can read a mind and comfort it. Beast - Father figure and despite being a permanent mutant like Kurt i feel he is more compassionate than anything else. Avarice Cyclops - As much as i love the character, in AvX and uncanny x men he was seriously greedy and i thought id label him based on those stories for variety plus that greed does show through in other stories. Emma Frost - Former villain and manipulative telepath cmon this bitch be greedy Hope Angel - Named after and the look/power set of a literal sympol of hope Iceman - More than anyone else on the team he is full of joy and hope. Yes his comig out shows will but he is more hopeful imo. Will Colosuss - Possed by Cytorak (butchered that spelling my apologies) and still fought for his beleifs and kept his morals. Nightcrawler - One of many mutants that cant hide behind sunglasses or other disguises yet still openly fights for his beleifs and doesnt hide his religion either. Rage Wolverine - doesnt need explaining really does it??
I thought Thor would be the Indigo light of Compassion, since gaining empathy for others is a major part of his character development. Living to help others, not your own ego, that's what Odin wanted Thor to learn.
I think alternatively black widow could be compassion. She always knows how others are feeling and is the one who builds the closest bonds with the other avengers. Besides that I pretty much agree. DO A SEQUEL VIDEO PLEASE!!!!!!! All the second gen mcu heros
Tbh I feel like Bruce banner is more inclined towards will power, and my reasoning behind that is because like you said yes he is always angry BUT it takes a lot of will and concentration not to go berserk any given moment, you can even say he gets compassion slightly but I still think will is a better choice. That and it’s green 😂
I do agree with love and compassion for hawkeye. I also think thor could also qualify for a star sapphire ring. He loves his family, his people, the earth, and everything on it. He's even proved how much he loves his brother because he always grieves when he thinks lokis dead no matter what. Plus, Thora love is the only reason Loki even becomes a antihero.
I think Iron Man fits in compassion. His arc is all about learning compassion for others. He turns around and goes back for the guy who heals him, even if it may lead to his death. His compassion is the reason why the Avengers Civil War took place.
The coincidence of iron man being a green lantern is that Marvel and DC merged and made Amalgam comics where their superheroes are merged into 1 hero and they combined iron man and green lantern
I can imagine Hulk puts on the ring and goes into a monstrous rage. Then they put him in that pit to turn him back to normal, but he comes out just as savage as he went in and he horribly confuses everyone.
Hi There, loved the video but im just going to have to chime in and give my opinion on iron man :) While i agree that stark shows a lot of will power, and is a very convicted man, i believe that the sole thing driving him is his compassion towards his fellow human. yes he is selfish and greedy, growing up until the point of the first movie, but as soon as he realizes the amount of people his company hurt he spends every waking moment thinking about how he can help the most people he can and make the world a safer place (as misguided as this can be when he creates ultron ect). He is a playboy yes but as soon as he falls in love with Pepper he throws that all away to be with her and he deeply cares about her safety, going to great lengths to protect her with his armour in the events of IM3. He donates money to university students to help them with their studies to help them make the world a better place. The thing that drives him to sign the sokovia accords is when that women shows tony the picture of her son that died during the attack. When he meets the little boy in IM3 he relates to him due to their shared love of engineering and helps him with his bully problems and even completely pimps out his man cave, sets it up with computers, science equipment, and even gives him this flash as car. And then theirs Spiderman who he finds him out, then immediately decides that hes going to mentor him and groom him into becoming an Avenger. Gives him a suit on a "training wheels" program to protect him as he goes along, and stresses his safety at every turn not wanting to put him in danger. He is cynical and snarky yes, but pretty much everyone in his life he is close with he will go to the ends of the earth for, even including people like Happy, Rhodey and even Jarvis! Sorry for the rant but thats why i believe Tony Stark would be in the Indigo Corps of Compassion :)
Disagree. Aren't Indigo rings given to people void of compassion? Like, the universe's worst criminals and such. I agree that he does show compassion, but due to the lore of the Indigo Tribe I doubt he'd be well suited for it.
Your Reasoning For Hawkeye Taking the Green ring is exactly why I think he would take the love ring, He loves them so much that he wants to hide them to keep them safe, and choosing the Pink ring would expose his love for something and villains would use that against him which is why his love comes through even more and makes him less qualified for the Green ring
I think Captain America should be in the Green Lantern Core of Will because he never gives up and WILL fight to the end (sorry for the pun) he always does what he thinks is right
You should do a part two which could feature the rest of the avengers (aka. Falcon, scarlet witch, quicksilver, winter soldier, vision, war machine, spider man, black panther, and ant-man)
Iron man can’t be green as everything he does is all based on his fears. - He shuts down weapon production because hes scared of what they do - he creates ultron because he’s scared of the future SW showed him. - he signs the accords because he’s scared of what else he’s capable of when left unchecked He never overcomes fear he just lets it control him. I don’t think iron man can actually be in ANY of the corps. He’s not hopeful of the future he’s afraid of it He’s not greedy because he’s still trying to protect the world He doesn’t act based on having great love He doesn’t have great anger towards anything He doesn’t really make others fear him as people know he’s just a man under the suit And he doesn’t lack compassion nor have a GREAT compassion for others (although if he has to be one this would be the one) Iron man isn’t dead so black is out And since he can’t be any of the others he doesn’t qualify for white since he would need to have the other 7 rings (not black) first Iron man just doesn’t suit any of them.
You make valid points, but I feel Tony does overcome his fears, even if it does not always end well. When something scares Tony, he doesn't let it paralyze him, he acts on it. He was stuck in a cave with terrorists threatening to kill him if he doesn't cooperate and a mess of shrapnel held bare centimeters away from his heart by a crude makeshift device and he turned around, broke out, and used the device to stop something like that from happening again. He saw a future where he failed everyone and said "I'm not going to let that happen" and tried to make a solution. While his plans do not always work out the way he wants them to, he acts when others would hesitate, and he stands by his principles. When faced with his fears he takes hold of them and hammers them into something he can use.
@@willieoelkers5568 to be fair he was never afraid of the terrorists. He was afraid of what giving his weapons to them would represent. He acted against them out of fear. He made that small arc reactor out fear for his life and his escape.
I thought the shutting down one was pure will cause he could continue selling but he has the will to over come it and at the same time he has an addiction
In Avengers endgame SPOIL ALERTS ....... 5 years has pass and Hawkeye becomes Ronin which kill a lot of people which the Red Lantern Corp will be good. but he pink and green Lantern it will work
While I don't disagree, I'd also argue that the anger was related to loosing people he loved. And (spoilers) the scene with Black Widow on Vormir furthers that idea for me.
I think this is The...6th introduction of The Lantern Core.😁😂 Nonetheless, I like both Marvel and DC. The idea is, every Avenger emotion defies the other. Like, it doesn't really make sense to introduce them into a Lantern Core, as soon as their emotions change. -Cap The incredibile will and Purpouse that he has, he imediatly clasifies as a Green Lantern. -Thor He would clasify as a Orange Lantern Core as in North Mithology, Thor is appears as a god who treats people selfish, like no Matter how many Times he saves em' they mean nothing to him, and drinks a lot. -HULK Knowing that HULK is always Angry, that's not always The case. Writers tried do make him as Not your Typical mindless Monster, but someone that has The abilty to choose what should he do with his Power. HULK can either destroy/help the world. HULK symbolises the True Nature of Bruce's mind, but Bruce also is the retreated person who doesn't want problems. Yes, he clasifies as a Red Lantern, but it is an exception as he turn into Bruce Banner. Also listen to 0:37 at 0.25 Speed.
I could not disagree more with where you put black widow. Her arc is about redemption and learning to forgive herself. She was manipulated into doing terrible things, and she constantly struggles with the pass. She thinks she is terrible, so she spends the rest of her life helping others. She sacrifices herself to save Clint, who had been going on a murder spree for five year, he could be redeemed. She held the team together after infinity war. She sacrificed her life to save the universe and was completely selfless age of ultron onwards. She deserves the compassion ring.
You should which Lantern Corps would Nintendo Characters be in next. Like if Mario from his Iconic Series were to be a Green Lantern or King Dedede from the Kirby Series of games would be an Orange Lantern. Something like that would be interesting to watch.
After endgame and from what was in spider far from home I would say iron has become a beacon of hope and inspiration. Edit: I still don’t think it’s the right lantern core for him.
@@kkstudios7877 Yes, the red corps would be nice for ronin, but the main motivation for him killing criminals around the world is his pain for lost the family, because of the love he feel for them, which his main motivation to time travel with the avengers and the main motivation to sacrifice himself for the soul stone, all of this come to his love for his family, and in the end, natasha sacrifice herself for the stone, which can only be possible because clint love her as a true friend, all his life and motivations are for the love, for his family or for his friends, so for me, the love corps is the best for him
@@chuuwars He still would be a Red Lantern as Ronin, even if his anger come from his love. In Blackest Night, a Red Ring choosed Mera, who was in rage for her dead children and husband.
I have not seen the video yet, so. Thor is Willpower, Hulk is Rage, Captain is Hope, Iron man is Willpower, Black widow is Fear and hawkeye is Love maybe hawkeye is hard to place. But Thor, Hulk and Captain is super easy
@@hulkinglasses7174 Hulk couldn't, but Bruce could. And while they are *technically* the same person, that hasn't stopped multi-ring combos from happening before. (Guy Gardener being the prime example.)
I would love to see a fallow up to this detailing witch lantern corps the newer heros belong to. I personally think it'd go something like this Scarlet witch = fear as she is a very fearful character she both uses fear as a weapon with her night mare powers and is afraid of her own power. Quicksilver = anger while he was only in one movie it was clear he had some mager anger issues Ant man, Scott Lang: love the whole reason he became a super hero was out of love and due to love. He loved his daughter and wanted to be worthy of her love Vision: probably compassion Doctor strange; probably greed as he became a hero to help himself but changed throughout the movie. Maybe he'd go with the green lanterns by the end Spider-Man: hope Bucky: maybe fear but also will note sure Sam ; will power
Brady Harms I thought I was the only one that thought that! I get the reasoning behind him being with the blue lanterns, but Captain America is basically the personification of not giving up.
@@capzach849 'Even when the whole world is telling you to move, it is you duty, to plant yourself like a tree next to the river of truth and say: "No, you move." is also a strong point for cap to be in the green lantern corps.
Let's face it, *most* superheroes fit in the green lantern corp by default. With Cap, it's not just willpower, he's practically got a constant area-effect boost morale enchantment going on. He makes everyone want to be better, fight harder, and makes them believe they *can.* That's serious levels of hope right there.
@@brigidtheirish Agreed. In Endgame when Cap gives a small pep talk before the time heist, Rocket Raccoon agrees that Cap is good at uplifting morale and spirit. And Rocket is a very cynical, jaded character.
In my opinion, Steve Rogers generally belongs to the Indigo Spectrum; he is able to lead because he is sympathetic to everyone he is around with and enables them to be the best that they can be. As for Endgame, he is undoubtedly a member of the White Spectrum; going beyond the potential of a super soldier and reaching god-like status while remaining humble and just towards his allies and enemies alike. "This is why you are chosen; strong men who have know power all their life may lose respect for that power, but weak men knows the value of strength and knows... compassion."
Fun fact: In the Amalgam series, the comic book crossover between DC and Marvel, Tony Stark and Hal Jordan actually "fused" together. In this crossover, Harold "Hal" Stark owns Stark Aircraft. He had an accident with a flight simulator and ended up crashing near Rhomann Surr's alien ship. He then used the green battery of the ship (Yup, the lantern) to stop the shrapnel to pierce his heart. Next he build an armor out of it and... That's how "Iron lantern" began.
I'd like to see you do a lantern corp video on the heroes and villains of the DB franchise. Here's how I'd place the ones I found most obvious: Goku: Greed Vegeta Tien/ Krillin: Will Gohan/Future Trunks: Hope Frieza/Beerus/Buu: Fear Zamasu: Rage
I honestly believe Hawkeye would fit into the purple lantern Corp of compassion. Because of the amount of compassion he has for his family and allies is insurmountable (That, and it be nice to see him in his OG purple suit)
I feel Hawkeye's level-headedness and other traits might work better in compassion, after all, he's the only one black widow trusts completely and he was the only Avenger to have a normal life and helps others find the ideals in their situations.
Steven Grant Rogers: Hope Anthony Howard Stark: Compassion Robert Bruce Banner: Rage Natalie Alianovna Romanov: Fear Clinton Francis Barton: Willpower Thor Odinson: Life
I think hawk-eye would be the compassion lantern core. Due to his lack of powers he understands the importance of power. Also he understands all of his enemies as seen when in the avengers first film he fires the perfect arrow for loki as he knew that he would catch and show it off. And in age of ultron he empathises with scarlet witch and wills her on.
Stan Lee was once asked who would win between Thor or Hulk and he said Thor. His reason was "strong as Hulk is he is still human but Thor is one of the Norse gods."
@@wolfhurricane897 I mean there are dads in real life right now somewhere on Earth beating their kids so I guess the answer I'd give is Odin was a terrible and lazy parent who tried to beat his children into submission rather than properly parent them?
My only one I have a slight disagreement on is Hawk Eye. Yes Will is him. Love works but I still think Compassion is more him. He care and is so deeply connected to both his connections to the team, his family, and the salvation of the world. But love still suits him
Wally Rosario Based on comics: Reverse flash - fear or anger (all versions) The rouges (cold, heatwave, mirror master etc) - greed Although cold could be love Inertia- anger Godspeed - anger Grodd - anger, fear or hope (less likely)
While blue was my first thought for Cap, I started thinking more about green and am at the point where I really don’t know what would be better for him; at the very least, it should be worth a mention. Yes, I agree that there is no other individual better suited towards hope in the MCU, but I also think there is no other character better suited to will. His most notable catch phrase is probably, “I can do this all day,” while in a completely overwhelming and sometimes unwinable scenario.
I agree w/ some I'd tweek 1 or 2 Ironman- will/ avarice (let's face it he can display both at a time ) Black Widow -Death (her name itself should be a giveaway of what lantern she belongs) Hawkeye- Love Hulk- Rage (that's obvious) Captain America- Hope Thor- Indigo (compassion)
Captain America definitely belonged in the Green Lantern Corp way more than the Blue Lantern Corp. He can so this all day after all. In his first movie he wants to enlist despite having so much wrong with him that disqualifies him from enlisting. He attempts to enlist many many times under false identities and he was willing to be experimented on just for the chance to fight along side other soldiers because he thought it was only fair that he should risk his life as well. That's will power.
I think if you revisited this now, after End Game and The Black Widow movies, there would only be two changes to the explanations, and only one ring change. Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, and Thor pretty much still rest in the rings you originally selected, it's Hawkeye and Black Widow that see the changes, either to their explanations or to the corps entirely. Hawkeye definitely fits heavily into the Green Lantern Corps, due to his Willpower. He doesn't really fit into Blue/Hope or Indigo/Compassion due to his actions after his family was snapped out of existence. Some may try to make a case for Red/Rage during this period, but fail to take note of his coldly calculating methodology, and while people were afraid of him, he wasn't trying to inspire Fear or really capitalize on it the way a Yellow Lantern would. A case could be made for him being in the Violet/Love Corps, since it was his family's destruction that broke him, it was his Willpower that continued to drive him to go out and eliminate threats that could destroy others, and do it methodically. Black Widow on the other hand, she should be in a completely different Corps. I have read comments that state she should be in the Violet/Love Corps for how she felt about Hawkeye and her sacrifice for him, but I disagree. She sacrificed herself out of compassion for her friends and to clear her ledger. She still loved herself and her life as a hero, and it was her compassion for others that allowed her to sacrifice herself for the good of everyone and “balance her ledger”, her driving focus during her time as an Avenger. It was this same compassion that allowed Hawkeye to go for as long as he did as Ronin, it was also that compassion that allowed her to talk to Clint and convince him to come back to the team. An argument could be made that it takes a certain amount of compassion and ability to see things as others do that allows her to be so good at manipulating those around her.
There was a comic where an alternate "Fantastic Four" comprised of Red Hulk, Agent Venom, Ghost Rider, and X-23 teamed up to defeat a demon invasion. At one point, Red Hulk temporarily obtained the Spirit of Vengeance and the Venom Symbiote both at the same time... Imagine a Red Lantern ring on top of all that. Look up "Circle of Four" if you want to check it out.
im gonna just say what i think without reasoning unless you ask me why: so first iron man should be the blue lantern corp of hope, cap should be the green lantern corp of will, hulk should be either purple lantern corp of compassion or red lantern corp of rage, black widow no doubt should be pink lantern corp of love last but not least hawkeye should be the yellow lantern corp of fear
Cap, Iron Man and Hulk you've definitely got right. The others though: Black Widow - Love - Natasha Romanov's abilities are inherently tied to seduction; fear is an aspect her victims (as the soviet spy/assassin Black Widow) very rarely have time to experience. Hawkeye - Life - of all the Avengers, MCU Clint Barton alone puts having a life that sustains him outside of his hero work as a priority. He values the safety of his teammates, rallying them to defend the world, often being pivotal in their success despite them being literal and metaphorical gods and him being a dude with a bow. Thor - Compassion - it was his willingness to sacrifice himself for his new friends on planet earth which restored his worthiness to wield mjolnir And additionally: Nick Fury - Fear - the dude knows how to use the shadows to his advantage. He is perhaps one of the few who could wield a fear ring and not be compelled to corruption in the process
I feel like Black Widow wouldn't accept fear and would more opt for love or compassion Factoring in shame Iron Man was motivated by his past mistakes but eventually became a symbol of Hope (and Will I guess), sacrificing himself in Endgame. Finally Thor I feel, now, would have willpower considering how much he went through in Ragnorok and Endgame (and possibly rage in his quest of revenge against Thanos during Infinity War and Endgame), but this is just my opinion
blue oath in fearful day in raging night with strong hearts our souls ignite when all seams lost in the war of light look to the stars for hope burns bright like if you are also a blue lantern
As of Endgame i think Natasha is bested suited for the love ring. She was the heart and soul of the team, everything she did for her team she did for love
Hulk = Red Captain America = Blue Black Widow = Compassion Iron Man = Green Thor = Love Hawkeye= Love This person, the narrator is very wrong about Black Widow by the way.
An idea I haven't seen here yet is putting Iron Man with yellow/fear. Since his vision in Age of Ultron that has essentially been his entire motivation. He sees a suit of armor around the world because he fears what he saw in the vision. He wants Peter to stay on earth because he fears he will die. He doesn't want to go along in Endgame for fear of leaving his family behind. Also could look really stylish with a more red focused suit.
So if Hawkeye took the Green Lantern Ring, would that make him the Green Arrow?
yes
I get that refrence
ha ha not being sarcastic
No I’d be GreenHawk
Stop it 😂
while i agree with hawkeye being green i have different reasoning.
The WerewolfF I agree! :)
Very well said.
I don't care cap has the blue lantern Corp and the blue lantern Corp increase the power of a green lantern will (Tony Stark and hawkeye)
Yea I agree but so is Hal Jordan
Hal IS a Green Lantern, and not an Avenger.
XD
CM Pork also the blue lantern corp
Jason Boudreau like he said “the city is flying, there’s an army of robots and I’m here with bow and arrows” or something similar.
No one would do that if he didn’t think that he could make a difference and not lose his life in a meaningless way
And for that someone needs hope.
He hope to save someone
He hope that he won’t die
He hope to return to his family
That’s my opinion
actually the name would be verde piercer

What lantern corps should the X men be in ( Wolverine, beast, cyclops, jean grey, professor x, iceman, storm kitty pryde, Quicksilver, angel colossus, rogue, deadpool)
True
Cpro_77 Fast Deadpool is not part of the X-Men but I like the idea about the X- Men
Jannette Sepulveda was he apart of X factor and to be honest every team with x in ther name I consider a x men

Jannette Sepulveda are you mad or naw!?
Agree all except Hawkeye who should be compassion. From his mission involveing black widow where he didnt kill her to hiding his family from the world to his specific choice of arrows depending on his foe o his sode he chose in civil war (cared for others and wanted help when he could not after permission). While will is a good suit indigo (compassion) is better.
GERB8ge Youngblood I know it’s late but I agree
He showed well power through all of that though he refused to let black widow die and has the will to die in her place
You would be right but Indigo rings are the Weirdest instead of Choosing people with Great Compassion like any other Lantern they choose people that have total Lack of Compassion and the Rings basically make them feel Compassion and realise all of their wrongs and reforms them
I say there’s a huge argument for cap getting green. “I can do this all day”
'Yeah, yeah I know.'
He should get the love ring
I think he would qualify, and could be one, but I think him. Ejng a symbol of hope is way to accurate. It really depends on which you think is more of a main trait in who Steve is
Cap is either Will or Hope

Anyone agrees?
Compassion or Love.
Maybe
it 's more love then Compassion. from what I can remember Love can corrupted, Hope/Compassion cannot. It's why Natasha should be Hope/Compassion and not fear lol. honesty none of the Avengers should have The Yellow Ring and Crossbones should have Rage ring.
Please do what lantern corps each member of the x men should be in. Love your videos by the way.
That was more guilt than empathy.
2:28 this is literally the definition of will, or the Green Lantern Corp.
I feel like Cap should be a Green Lantern. His most iconic line in the MCU, “I can do this all day”, is literally about how he has the willpower to constantly get knocked down and get back up because he has such a strong will and tenacity
What about other marvel characters like: Spider Man, Daredevil, punisher, guardians of galaxy or X-Men?
Anyone in the comments, discuss ideas so we can have a conversation

X Men:
Compassion
Prof X - Father figure and telepath can read a mind and comfort it.
Beast - Father figure and despite being a permanent mutant like Kurt i feel he is more compassionate than anything else.
Avarice
Cyclops - As much as i love the character, in AvX and uncanny x men he was seriously greedy and i thought id label him based on those stories for variety plus that greed does show through in other stories.
Emma Frost - Former villain and manipulative telepath cmon this bitch be greedy
Hope
Angel - Named after and the look/power set of a literal sympol of hope
Iceman - More than anyone else on the team he is full of joy and hope. Yes his comig out shows will but he is more hopeful imo.
Will
Colosuss - Possed by Cytorak (butchered that spelling my apologies) and still fought for his beleifs and kept his morals.
Nightcrawler - One of many mutants that cant hide behind sunglasses or other disguises yet still openly fights for his beleifs and doesnt hide his religion either.
Rage
Wolverine - doesnt need explaining really does it??

Hawkeye should be in the blue lantern corp of hope.
“The city is flying, we’re fighting an army of robots... and I’mm here with bow and arrows”
None of this makes any sense
If that doesn't show "I am running on sheer hope that everything will turn out ok" then I don't know what does
But I'm going out there cause it's my job.
I thought Thor would be the Indigo light of Compassion, since gaining empathy for others is a major part of his character development. Living to help others, not your own ego, that's what Odin wanted Thor to learn.
If Hawkeye gets the Green Lantern ring, doesn’t that technically make him...
THE GREEN ARROW?
“He has a change of heart”
Me literally!!!
"I think you will find our will equal to yours."
I think Iron Man fits in compassion. His arc is all about learning compassion for others. He turns around and goes back for the guy who heals him, even if it may lead to his death. His compassion is the reason why the Avengers Civil War took place.
I mean Iron man had fused with Green lantern before
In the amalgam universe
Do the X-men or guardian of the galaxey lantern corp
I'd like guardians of The Galaxy better
The coincidence of iron man being a green lantern is that Marvel and DC merged and made Amalgam comics where their superheroes are merged into 1 hero and they combined iron man and green lantern
I can imagine Hulk puts on the ring and goes into a monstrous rage. Then they put him in that pit to turn him back to normal, but he comes out just as savage as he went in and he horribly confuses everyone.
Hi There,
loved the video but im just going to have to chime in and give my opinion on iron man :)
While i agree that stark shows a lot of will power, and is a very convicted man,
i believe that the sole thing driving him is his compassion towards his fellow human.
yes he is selfish and greedy, growing up until the point of the first movie, but as soon as he realizes the amount of people his company hurt he spends every waking moment thinking about how he can help the most people he can and make the world a safer place (as misguided as this can be when he creates ultron ect).
I mostly disagree with Black Widow's placement.
I think Captain America should be in the Green Lantern Core of Will because he never gives up and WILL fight to the end (sorry for the pun) he always does what he thinks is right
It’s entirely possible for characters to be worthy of more than one Lantern Corps
I mean Black Widow have very strong will power as well
NeedleMouse Productions still manages to make excellent videos that aren't about who had sex with whom... CONGRATS!!!

Where's Dax Jaxter does he know that your gone xD XD XD XD😂😂😂😂
When did Black Panther and Ant-Man and Winter Soldier and War Machine join the Avengers?
@@JaelinBezel War machine joined the avengers at the end of age of ultron.
Iron man can’t be green as everything he does is all based on his fears.
- He shuts down weapon production because hes scared of what they do
- he creates ultron because he’s scared of the future SW showed him.
- he signs the accords because he’s scared of what else he’s capable of when left unchecked
He never overcomes fear he just lets it control him. I don’t think iron man can actually be in ANY of the corps.
He’s not hopeful of the future he’s afraid of it
He’s not greedy because he’s still trying to protect the world
He doesn’t act based on having great love
He doesn’t have great anger towards anything
He doesn’t really make others fear him as people know he’s just a man under the suit
And he doesn’t lack compassion nor have a GREAT compassion for others (although if he has to be one this would be the one)
Iron man isn’t dead so black is out
And since he can’t be any of the others he doesn’t qualify for white since he would need to have the other 7 rings (not black) first
Iron man just doesn’t suit any of them.
That just makes him a Phantom Lantern.
@jamit the slayer Speaking of Pepper, think she survived the snap?
I thought the shutting down one was pure will cause he could continue selling but he has the will to over come it and at the same time he has an addiction
In Avengers endgame SPOIL ALERTS .......
5 years has pass and Hawkeye becomes Ronin which kill a lot of people which the Red Lantern Corp will be good. but he pink and green Lantern it will work
While I don't disagree, I'd also argue that the anger was related to loosing people he loved. And (spoilers) the scene with Black Widow on Vormir furthers that idea for me.
He killed lots of people so he should have black?
I think this is The...6th introduction of The Lantern Core.😁😂
Nonetheless, I like both Marvel and DC.
The idea is, every Avenger emotion defies the other.
Like, it doesn't really make sense to introduce them into a Lantern Core, as soon as their emotions change.
-Cap
The incredibile will and Purpouse that he has, he imediatly clasifies as a Green Lantern.
-Thor
He would clasify as a Orange Lantern Core as in North Mithology, Thor is appears as a god who treats people selfish, like no Matter how many Times he saves em' they mean nothing to him, and drinks a lot.
-HULK
Knowing that HULK is always Angry, that's not always The case.
Best part of Iron Man being a Green Lantern and Cap being a Blue Lantern. Is that they are two lantern corps that work best together.
Another reason that Thor would be suited for the life Lantern Corp is because he's Immortal
I'd say commission for Hawk eye. He always talks to other people and builds them up and the reason why he fights is for other people
”I can do this all day” - Thats not hope, thats willpower
As always, wonderful video NeedleMouse!
You should which Lantern Corps would Nintendo Characters be in next. Like if Mario from his Iconic Series were to be a Green Lantern or King Dedede from the Kirby Series of games would be an Orange Lantern. Something like that would be interesting to watch.
Eric Feraligatr XXVII That would be awesome! :)
Why do I now want a fanfiction where Wario gets ahold of an orange ring....?
I’d actually put Luigi in Green, and Mario in Blue. Tabuu gets Black, and the entire cast of Kirby gets Orange.

I've been watching your videos more and more, I freaking love the lantern ring series your doing.
I think after Endgame, Hawkeye would be better with the love corps...
helio cmbyn what about the red corps? As ronin

I personally think it'd go something like this
Scarlet witch = fear as she is a very fearful character she both uses fear as a weapon with her night mare powers and is afraid of her own power.
Quicksilver = anger while he was only in one movie it was clear he had some mager anger issues
Ant man, Scott Lang: love the whole reason he became a super hero was out of love and due to love. He loved his daughter and wanted to be worthy of her love
Vision: probably compassion
Doctor strange; probably greed as he became a hero to help himself but changed throughout the movie. Maybe he'd go with the green lanterns by the end
Spider-Man: hope
Bucky: maybe fear but also will note sure
Sam ; will power
How is captain america not green. I can do this all day somes up his entire character and if thats not will power idk what is
Brady Harms I thought I was the only one that thought that!
CapZach thank you I’ve been thinking the same thing🤦🏾♂️
Can you do a lantern corps video on the Netflix defenders + punisher?
Fun fact: In the Amalgam series, the comic book crossover between DC and Marvel, Tony Stark and Hal Jordan actually "fused" together.
In this crossover, Harold "Hal" Stark owns Stark Aircraft. He had an accident with a flight simulator and ended up crashing near Rhomann Surr's alien ship.
He then used the green battery of the ship (Yup, the lantern) to stop the shrapnel to pierce his heart. Next he build an armor out of it and... That's how "Iron lantern" began.
I think Hawkeye could qualify for the white lantern core
I'd like to see you do a lantern corp video on the heroes and villains of the DB franchise. Here's how I'd place the ones I found most obvious:
Goku: Greed
Vegeta Tien/ Krillin: Will
Gohan/Future Trunks: Hope
Frieza/Beerus/Buu: Fear
Zamasu: Rage
I enjoyed this video and I agree
I honestly believe Hawkeye would fit into the purple lantern Corp of compassion. Because of the amount of compassion he has for his family and allies is insurmountable (That, and it be nice to see him in his OG purple suit)
I wonder where Loki would be??
Orange because of his greed?
(Yellow maybe because he's secretly a coward)
thats not how yellow works. yellow is given when the candidate can instil great fear not if they're a coward or feel fear.
Greed or love.
Avarice of course i mean c,mon he always wants to get the damn trone of asgard sooooooo avarice of course

I feel Hawkeye's level-headedness and other traits might work better in compassion, after all, he's the only one black widow trusts completely and he was the only Avenger to have a normal life and helps others find the ideals in their situations.
Do what lantern core for other heros
Steven Grant Rogers: Hope
Anthony Howard Stark: Compassion
Robert Bruce Banner: Rage
Natalie Alianovna Romanov: Fear
Clinton Francis Barton: Willpower
Thor Odinson: Life
2:27 see he fits into green not blue
Even though he best fits the blue ring of hope, I feel like Cap could use a green ring with no problem
Black widow should be in the indigo corp because she was once a cruel assassin and now she have redeemed herself
Iron Man should have been FEAR. Fear is what drives him to keep improving his suits. As Tony stated, “I see a suit of armor around the world”.

Inertia- anger
Godspeed - anger
Grodd - anger, fear or hope (less likely)

While blue was my first thought for Cap, I started thinking more about green and am at the point where I really don’t know what would be better for him; at the very least, it should be worth a mention. Yes, I agree that there is no other individual better suited towards hope in the MCU, but I also think there is no other character better suited to will. His most notable catch phrase is probably, “I can do this all day,” while in a completely overwhelming and sometimes unwinable scenario.
before I see the vid, I have to say this. I'd give Tony the purple ring of compassion.
I agree w/ some I'd tweek 1 or 2
Ironman- will/ avarice (let's face it he can display both at a time )
Black Widow -Death (her name itself should be a giveaway of what lantern she belongs)
Hawkeye- Love
Hulk- Rage (that's obvious)
Captain America- Hope
Thor- Indigo (compassion)
Wanda definitely belongs in the black lantern Corp
You should make a video of which Lantern Corp should the rest of the Avengers be in.
To be in blue core you need to have a strong sence of hope, not to make people hopeful that you will save them.
I could see Tony installing his ring in his chest piece to power a Lantern armor as opposed to simply wearing it on his finger.
Cap, Iron Man and Hulk you've definitely got right. The others though:
Black Widow - Love - Natasha Romanov's abilities are inherently tied to seduction; fear is an aspect her victims (as the soviet spy/assassin Black Widow) very rarely have time to experience.
Thor - Compassion - it was his willingness to sacrifice himself for his new friends on planet earth which restored his worthiness to wield mjolnir
And additionally: Nick Fury - Fear - the dude knows how to use the shadows to his advantage. He is perhaps one of the few who could wield a fear ring and not be compelled to corruption in the process
I feel like Black Widow wouldn't accept fear and would more opt for love or compassion
Factoring in shame Iron Man was motivated by his past mistakes but eventually became a symbol of Hope (and Will I guess), sacrificing himself in Endgame.
Finally Thor I feel, now, would have willpower considering how much he went through in Ragnorok and Endgame (and possibly rage in his quest of revenge against Thanos during Infinity War and Endgame), but this is just my opinion
blue oath
in fearful day
in raging night
with strong hearts our souls ignite
when all seams lost in the war of light
look to the stars
for hope burns bright
like if you are also a blue lantern
As of Endgame i think Natasha is bested suited for the love ring. She was the heart and soul of the team, everything she did for her team she did for love
Great choices and sound reasoning 👍🏽
I’d like to see this remade after Endgame
There should be a brown and grey lantern corp
Hulk = Red
Captain America = Blue
Black Widow = Compassion
Iron Man = Green
Thor = Love
Hawkeye= Love
This person, the narrator is very wrong about Black Widow by the way.
It would be very cool to see a story where Tony Stark gets the Green Lantern Ring and builds an armor that draws power from it.
