@@nicksoldevere5460 I’m kinda in the middle of two series’ right now. This trip to John Bull trail and another one called the ULTIMATE Lexus GX470 Build for under 20k. Part two is out for that series and I’m working on part two for this series currently. That other series takes a lot of research and writing so I’m taking my time with it. Thought I’d release these videos in the meantime
What wheels are you running? I’ve got the Method with sure grip. I have other rigs with bead locks on them and I’m impressed with the methods. I rock crawl with mine and still run open diffs and was pleasantly surprised of how well it works. How do you like you head unit (stereo) you swapped in?
These are just some low buck Motegi’s. I want to either switch to the Method bead grips or get some Alpha Equipt wheels in the future tho. Nice, Yeah the stock drivetrain is pretty capable! The HU is great. Love the front trail cam I installed. Helps when you’re looking at nothing but sky lol
@@lexus_offroad_adventures do you know something about e-lockers? I'm considering about to get stock land cruiser locker for back an some of e-lockers for front
@@jarjar4102 E-lockers are a great option. I already had the compressor for the utility of airing up, blowing dust out of equipment, etc., so I went with the air lockers, which are known to be strong and reliable if installed correctly. The only problem with air lockers is the amount of air lines that could potentially develop leaks if they are damaged. E-lockers only need a wire connection to the switch/battery so it’s pretty bulletproof. I know the Toyota OEM e-locker has real finicky engagement though (having to roll back and forth a bunch to get it to engage at times), but if the price is right for the LC one, I wouldn’t let that stop you.
Good driving, it’s nice to see someone with finesse and a proper line not beating the truck to pieces over obstacles 👍👍
Haha thanks! Gotta keep that driveline intact
I love watching this stuff! Dope video! The Lexus’s did amazing!
Simply some nice wheeling guys. 👍🏽
Extremely heavy crawling, damn
Much more coming in the next video dropping on Wednesday!
Hell yeah! From Restless Offroad!
Yeeeeew 🔥
What is the song at 5:58 or so. I like the intro cuz it sounds like turn signals
8'' diffs did great
Yep! I’m the only 8” though, Earl has the 8.2 upgrade. Next video you’ll see where the confidence of having a more stout rear end comes in.
@@lexus_offroad_adventures Speaking of the next video where is pt 2? Great pt 1 btw.
OOPs,, nvm I found it
