My brother and I read "Three men in a boat" when we were teenagers. We used to quote our favorite parts during dinner to the point of choking in tears of laughter. Made our parents very confused 😄
I loved This is Going to Hurt. Adam Kay did such a good job taking away the actual fear most people would feel reading his coworkers sometimes horrifying mistakes by making us laugh our asses off.
One book I can recommend is "Meandering Sobriety". Although it's a philosophical book, it is a bit humorous and still thought-provoking. The book is a series of funny and thought-stimulating stories that will help you have a moment of escape from hustle reality to see and understand it deeper. It can also bring you some LOL moments as well. Most importantly, it's short and can be completed in a day.

This is what we all need. I recommend the Adrian mole books - funny and nostalgic!

A really funny book that I recommend reading is "The Exiles", by Hilary McKay. It's about 4 girls who get sent off to their grandmother's house during the summer because their kitchen is getting redone.
Great video - I love looking for humorous books, and in fact did a video of funny science fiction a while back. I love a lot of the books you've mentioned but the other ones I really want to seek out - especially The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules - looks awesome.

Your sense of humour must be very similar to my own, as I have read at least four of the books you mentioned and they made me laugh out loud too. I think that you should read some of Christopher Moore's books as some of his had me creased up. Also Bernadette Strachan and Karl Pilkington! I was searching for other funny books to read and came across this video. Thank you for the recommendations (I will go and search some of them out.) I have now subscribed, as I am always on the lookout for enjoyable books to read. My interests are humour, psychological thrillers and mysteries. I will look through your other videos for recommendations! TFS 👍💖

Everytime I watch one of your videos my already ridiculous TBR gets even longer :P If you like diaries, I really enjoyed why mummy drinks (despite not having or wanting children it had me laughing out loud) Also the 100 year old man is also the WEIRDEST book I have ever read but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
That is so true. I keep looking for best book recommendations and each time my TBR list gets longer. But it makes me miserable that books are too expensive for me to purchase. Maybe, someday, I will.

My recommendation - Days Out - The Funboy3' By Phil Street. A trilogy of comic masterpieces. Four guys travelling from town to town, from pub to pub. Very funny. Should be made into a TV show. The author has written a couple of books in an 'Antidote' series and a Novella which is very amusing.
I read far too much of Diary of a Somebody before realising it was fiction. Let's just say that I was very confused! 😂 I've always meant to read Three Men in a Boat. Looks like now is the perfect time!

There's fresh blood on the horizon! Just read a very funny and quirky, a sort of noir crime parody novel - absolutely had me in stitches. Great characters and really memorable scenes and quotes. It's called "Funky Murder: A Case of Dementia (You Kill, You Smell)" by G.J. Brookes, in the kindle store.
Oh, yay! You mentioned loads of books that I already own. Do I now binge them all or spread them out? There's a reveal at the end of the 2nd or 3rd Hitchhiker's book that I think is one of the funniest things I've ever read. I haven't read the 100-year-old Man yet but I have read The Girl Who Saved The King of Sweden by the same author; it was bonkers and I loved it.

Just read another book by somebody called Phil Street - Murder Most Foul. Got it off Amazon. I have to say it is one of, if not, the funniest book I read in a very long time.
