So today I am shopping the high street is search of all the best Summer outfits I can find plus a few pieces I had on my 'need' list so hopefully you enjoy coming along with me and seeing what I tried on:) Which is your favourite piece I tried on? I really enjoy the shopping with you videos! Super. I loved the Me & Em dress and the Reiss dress. The H & M jeans looked like fantastic value too. Very enjoyable video.
Loved the orange dress and blue blazer from Reiss. I hope you got them! Love the hair, especially pinned back. I have very fair skin, with rosacea, so nice and sensitive, and have done ipls a few times. I promise doesn’t hurt and there isn’t any downtime. Really helps with pigmentation. I’ve been too scared to do microneedling. Now I’ll see if I can muster the courage 😂

@@alexceline1980 Ooh that's so good to know thank you:) Maybe it'll help with my eczema too then? I'm such a wimp, I'm sure I probably didn't even need numbing cream for the treatment as i don't think the microneedling is that deep with this one but hey ho, it did make it a lovely experience:)
I thought the new hair style was very grown up and glamorous. I said wow to myself when it popped on the screen first. The fresh curl look is important

Your hair looks lovely- a Lauren Bacall look ! The Reiss dress in burnt orange was beautiful as it was in the green.I agree with your take on the pale blue blouse from And Other Stories- I prefer simpler styles and the white puff sleeve one you’re wearing at home is gorgeous.

I couldn't believe you cut your own bangs! I think your new look is lovely! You can pull off bangs and no bangs equally well, which is not the case for most folks. Beautiful clothes in the shops, especially the white embroidery dress!❤
The annoying thing is I've been doing it since i was 19 and bar the odd minor mishap it's always been fine! Not sure how I went so wrong this time haha! But glad to know you all think it's okay for now while it grows:)

Your hair looks lovely. I like the curl in it too. Liked the jumpsuit and slinky red dress, also the emerald dress. I have had IPL treatments and they are definitely worth it. I didn’t find it too painful at all.
Hi Gail, lovely to hear from you and thanks so much for letting me know your favourite outfits I tried:) That jumpsuit is stunning isn't it and looking back I think I prefer the slinky one in the emerald! With the ipl, did they put nunbing cream on? Did that take away all the pain and did it help with pigmentation? Sorry all the questions but I'm so keen to have that one but apparently Winter is the best time:) Big hugs lovely
@@FashionStyleEditYes I think they did put some numbing cream on, then gel when they were doing the IPL shocks. There was little pain except I was a bit more sensitive around my nose. I had 3 treatments over 3 months and it definitely evened out my skin colour. I had a bit of redness/rosacea across my nose and checks and it disappeared completely. Many of my friends commented on how well I looked, without knowing I had treatment. I would highly recommend it.
That’s so good to know thank you 🙏 well I shall definitely ask for the numbing cream because I’m a wimp but the thought of evening out my skin tone will make me braver I’m sure 🤣

With your bone structure you could never look bad with most hairstyles. As for the outfit that I fell in love with, was the cross over, halter, champagne colour jumpsuit. 🥰Of course blazers are a must, and I too have an obsession with. Hi Jess - I like your hair too it gives you an old Hollywood glamour look, like Lauren Bacall as someone else said. It was really good to have a look at some High Street outfits, which is where most of us shop (although online most of the time now) Hobbs trousers are probably on the generous side as I have two pairs in a size 10 and I'm not as slim as you are. The open stich jumper from Reiss is lovely and they can be useful - if the weather is warm enough! M&S had 20% off on knitwear the other day and I ordered a cashmere cardigan, as 20% off was too good to miss and a light open stich cardigan. Guess which I've worn in this wonderful summer we are having in the UK?! In fact I sent back the open stich one partly because I wasn't sure about the style and partly because I can't see me wearing it. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.x

that one was quite expensive so when I saw this one it was really good alternative. It was just a little bit more affordable. I think 50% really beautiful size 10. I really like it in the red and red is of course big fashion but equally red is going to go out of fashion all over the years just keep coming back round and round again so really really lovely option however you prefer your neutrals and you’re not wanting to dip your toe and some of those brighter colours this season there is a really lovely option in a gorgeous quite natural shade of beige, which I do really like as well then I decided to try beautiful long green dress this is a bit different for me shape wise with all those not something I would usually pick up but the colour just kind of me I thought have a little bit different for you but that’s often when you find the nicest pieces for them and I do really really love the shape. I thought it was really flattering around the neck line and although the fabric is quite gathered and folded in within itself which I thought might make too much bulk it didn’t at all it actually sat really really nice quite elegant actually and then you have that way which is one of the other fashion that came down to mid hip and then fell beautifully into the skirt portion so another lovely special dress I found on my dress however, I’ve said it was, necessarily special occasions but certainly something that again I would for on my summer holidays just very easy beach dress simple shape obviously across the tarp and spaghetti straps on the shoulders and then it flows out so I wouldn’t say it was the most flattering shape in the world, but I think you’ll agree on our holes and we’re just lounging around the pool or popping for lunch if it’s not scooping in all the right places
Love your look. I have pants in a similar fabric to your blue suit but I find that the material wrinkles so quickly.

Great vlog again, lovely to see all the pieces. I always thought your hair suiting you better without the straight fringe. The Reiss blazer very Veronica Beard style. Love the pale yellow this season. I am a big fan of Jo Goode, she is so inspirational (& fun) for what’s possible later in life . I guess the Hobbs piece coming later. Jeans and blazer look great on you, not a fan of Other Stories, many of their items seem slightly off. Have a great week.

What a great video! Those of us with fringes have probably all had our self-inflicted mistakes! 😂 I now just take the merest dusting off of mine between hairdresser visits! But they do grow quickly and your hair also looks lovely the way you have it at the moment. I remember my mum cutting my fringe with her dressmaking scissors and when it dried it was half way up my forehead 😂

Ahhh every one loves your hair Jess, it does look very glam! I've had so many such disasters over the years, don't even mention the 80's perms that left me looking eligible to qualify for Crufts 😫. I would recommend to take a small steamer on your journeys- it’s a life changer 😊
On one point I can’t agree with you- I own many Reiss pieces. I fall for the cuts and colours which are perfection. But the quality.. a £300 blazer looks shabby after 5 times wear, a jumper after two times wear.. it’s one season pieces, I feel embarrassed wearing the items very soon. Whereas I have a H&M linen blazer for over 20 years and it still looks like new.. maybe it’s just my opinion..

Morning Jess, first thing I thought was how lovely your hair looks and how much it suits your face. I would've never guessed you're hiding a badly cut fringe. I think you should wear your hair like this all the time. It reminds me of the elegant 50s style of Grace Kelly and Audry Hepburn, all it needs is a bright red lip 😊

You always look stunning but I like the 'accidental' fringe cut a lot! And I absolutely love the slightly warm, soft brown colour. Suits you perfectly and in my humble opinion, it suits you even better than the cool blond tone...😀

Hey hon, yes the 501 jeans but not the cropped ones. I do size down one from my normal 26 waist to a 25 as they are a 100% cotton so stretch and I buy the 30 leg and they are perfect. I have them in the light blue too. I only wear Levi jeans as they fit perfectly. Also the ribcage jeans are great and definitely your style. Oh, I think you have enough navy blazers!! 😂😂 ❤ Girl of your own heart though, I can’t resist a blazer! xx

I actually think the second white dress was a lot more classic and long lasting or slow fashion and the H&M one more trendy. I like second better personally.
