Good morning everyone:) How's your week been? So today I'm talking my travel summer capsule wardrobe. What to pack when you can only fill one very small carry-on suitcase! I'm not usually one for packing light so I did find this a challenge! But hopefully you agree I managed to pack lots of lovely outfits and even managed to edit down that makeup bag too! Is there anything I've missed that you'd have to have with you? As always I'm looking forward to hearing from you all, big hugs ladies and a big happy Sunday to you all:)

That red is a strange one, I barely have any in my wardrobe but the two that I do have, I feel lovely wearing. I got a new one the other day actually that I shared on my TH-cam shorts and it's a slightly pinky red that felt so nice to wear. The white dress is lovely! And anyway it's so pretty and often how people used to dress and we still can and do naturally, feminine and sweet, plus comfortable and airy in summer !You are right to not mind if others tell otherwise!

I would add a wool pashmina in neutral colour-great on the plane if cold and useful on a breezey evening when dining outdoors. My biggest problem when packing is usually bags. Regarding the rip on your beach dress, try modelling a dart and make it symmetrical, i.e. on both sides. Many thanks
I really loved the first dress. Give me a dress or skirt with pockets and I am all in. I mixed my delicate pearl necklace with my delicate gold diamond stud necklace and felt the layering really worked with what I wore to dinner this evening. It is 10:15 PM here in Arizona USA. Thanks for the packing ideas for a quick getaway. I need to figure out how I can pack a carry-on for a 9 day trip to England this October. Any tips? By the way, you are a naturally beautiful woman. No need for makeup!
Hello Diane, I hope you're having a lovely evening:) Wow, 9 days in a carry-on, that is a tough one! What I learnt from having to edit down my suitcase for this trip is to start by editing down the easy parts ie: my makeup. There was so much stuffed in my makeup bag that I didn't really need I saved so much space just editing that down to the essentials. Hair too, I only took one pair of straighteners that will curl and or straighten and shoes could be kept really minimal with something warmer I was wearing for the plane (trainers) and just one pair of sandals I knew I could style with everything. Doing all that first I guess gave me a bit more room for clothes and those outfits I was really in the mood for! But thinking about what mixes and matches really easily really helped:) How exciting that you're coming to England, have you been before? I shall keep my fingers crossed for you that the weather is nice in October! Big hugs lovely and hopefully that little waffle helps:) x

We will also visit Bath and the Cotswolds'/Stonehenge and the majority of our stay will be in London. My husband and I are so excited. Do you recommend raincoats just in case? Hey Jess, wow you did amazingly with the packing. I've never been able to do carry on due to the liquids. My bare basics would be SPF, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, serum x 2, mascara, lip gloss, concealer, foundation, brow gel, body lotion and even after decanting them that wouldn't all fit in a tiny little sandwich bag!! I don't know if any of the UK airports have relaxed the rules yet with the new technology but wherever you fly back from has to have it too. Hopefully it'll be a thing of the past in the next couple of years. Have a fab week hun x

Morning lovely, I was them in the machine:) Actually I did this again the other day and they came out perfect. I must admit I did just presume they'd be fine and popped them in without checking but I often think 'dry clean only' can often be over cautious and it's fine a lot of the time:) Hope that helps lovely

everything looked great,I hope you were able to get your cover up mended,if the tear was near the waistband I'm sure a dressmaker would be able to pull the waist up a bit to stitch it in, I know it would alter the length a bit but you would get away with it. It's beautiful

How does the Claire blouse from Sézane fit? I’m somewhere between a US6 & 8 (38 and 40 FR) in tops and their website says to size down but I’m worried the 6/38 will be too small!
Hello Sandra, thanks so much for watching and getting in touch:) It really depends when you're coming to London but at the moment I would say a raincoat of some sort would be handy. It's not exactly cold, just very wet right now. For London I'd highly advise trainers too. I'm imagining you want to see all the sights and there's a lot of walking so you may as well be comfortable:) I would have a read of the Michelin guide for some nice restaurants too, we often use that as a guide, even to find a good local pub. Hello Sandra, thanks so much for watching and getting in touch:) It really depends when you're coming to London but at the moment I would say a raincoat of some sort would be handy. It's not exactly cold, just very wet right now. For London I'd highly advise trainers too. I'm imagining you want to see all the sights and there's a lot of walking so you may as well be comfortable:) I would have a read of the Michelin guide for some nice restaurants too, we often use that as a guide, even to find a good local pub.
