What are good rods for beginners ? I just started fishing and I’ve been having problems using certain poles like bait casters or the other types , what brand or what model would you recommend ?
I would recommend something around a 7ft Medium Heavy fast action rod. That rod with generally allow you to fish most bass fishing techniques. Keep in mind that your line size and type will greatly affect your casting. I normally throw a 14lb flourocarbon line. My favorite lure weight is normally around 3/8oz as well. Baitcasters do not cast lighter lures as well
The Googan Squad Go-to rod is designed to do everything well. It’s a really beginner friendly rod too. They have easy to understand info and explanations on their rods
