Lovely course and very well played. However Gaz would love to see a little more than the golf, for example a clip inside the halfway house and then one clip of the pint at the end in the clubhouse would’ve been great to see!
Gaz, I spent a week staying and playing there last year , October timeframe. Weather was not really good for wearing shorts then, however the golf conditions were amazing still for that time of year. Your video brings back great memories.
Played it. Took 7 at the first and then made 5 birdies but still two over the turn 🙈 rain and wind came on back nine and I fell apart. It’s some course
Enjoyed that, been lucky enough to play Turnberry before and after Trump took it over,it was great before but it’s another level after the changes. We played in some strong wind, going out was ok but after the turn it was pure graft, think I broke 90 …just!!
Stopped there a few weeks ago unfortunately didn't get playing but the whole place is incredible just another world ......I also have difficulty chipping of real tight fairways
Hey Gaz!! You ever fancied a round at Golf’s Toughest Test??? I’m a caddie at Carnoustie and would love to help you Break 80 at what’s considered the toughest of all the Open venues if you ever fancied it!! P.S My name is Gary too!!!
Been a caddy at Turnberry for 24 years and the best I have shot round it is 75. Tbh with your game you should have played the white tees gaz the yellows are a bit short and tricky for bigger hitters. So next time play the whites if conditions are good an you will find it will suit your game better
Great until you get the normal weather, 40mph wind, Rain going sideways, and wet mist/missle; I’ve played there in a few competitions, having qualified felt obliged to play, wouldn’t go there out of choice.
Stunning stunning track, my fav anywhere in the world. Lucky to play there in the 90’s, the day after playing Preswick. Stayed in the hotel, beautiful, and had an after dinner guest speaker being the great Gavin Hastings. Life doesn’t get much better….. ❤ Mind you, I was fortunate to play there before the name Trump was associated with it…… 😢

Absolutely loved filming this!
You played some class golf and what a day it was for filming.

Played Ailsa in June in similar conditions, played off members black tees, absolute stunning course, hope you walked to the championship tee on 9th,
They should bring The Open back to Turnberry.

Great golf Gaz great putt

27:02 this sums up all men playing golf “and then you’ve got to go and have a pint up there” love it!
looking forward to this one mate...
Best course in the UK - hands down, so much fun and views for days
Get up to Trumps Aberdeen course, it’s even closer to the sea! You would love it if you love being close to the coastlines Gaz
Gaz’s driving is unreal.
Trump makes the best courses. My favourite is international
He didn't make turnberry
@@johnwilliams5838 no but he transformed it considerably
@@johnwilliams5838 true but it was nowhere near as good before he transformed it.
@ArcherTheGolfer yes it was, it was already one of the best courses on earth
@@johnwilliams5838He made trump international and it's amazing
100% agree I rather be in the rough chipping. But of fairways I use my 52.
I played Turnberry last year
Every time i hit a good drive,my mate said good drive, that'll be in the bunker 😮
Wasn’t it 4 over if you birdied the last.
Get yourself to Aberdeen unbelievable gaff👌🏼
LIV should play an event there before the Open. Crazy stuff that it's not on the Open roster.
Agreed, ridiculous,I’ve only played Turnberry and Carnoustie and Turnberry is streets ahead…not even close imo.
Unreal course. Get over and play Lough Erne Gaz. You must be border line scratch by now.

You missed an opportunity not playing off the tips or at least the whites…different course entirely, and some of the views. Great vid👍🏻
Polo part of the new collection Gaz?
Wasn’t it 4 over with the birdie on the last?

Is that Ryan Stevenson?
We didn’t really get to see much of the golf course 😂
Amazing course, however Trump international is even better
Not an amazing special course however Burntisland in Fife has cracking views and an amazing course! Need to play there 👍🏻

Most people don't care

Say what you want about Trump, but the man knows how to produce amazing golf courses…
Just put price up to £1000 a round..
Your trolley makes same noise as mine does my fucking head in crunching when it rolls
Btw I noticed that cos mine done the same . Took the wheels aff and sprayed with wd40 . It sorted it
@@srouse7521 sprayed the wheel bearings? I’ll try it tomorrow
absolute shlong dong
For the price of a round these days… not worth it
Don’t you feel the slightest bit uneasy being there?
Why?
... and only £1000 a round to play unless you stop in the Hotel
Did you just make that figure up 🤦🏻♂️
@carlmcinerney7899 he's kinda right ye know!!
@@broxi93 Played last year for £290. Just seen they’ve raised the price to try and get more people staying at the hotel. Absolute joke😡
shame on you
Why?
