Indian Wildlife Documentary: Wildlife of Hampi

Hampi is a beautiful little village in Southern India that is blessed with wonderful historical sites. There is also some amazing Indian wildlife be found here too.
In this short documentary, we visit some of the magical landscapes of Hampi and witness the stories of the animals and birds that live there.
Hanuman langurs are worshipped across India as they are believed to be the descendants of Lord Hanuman. We see the connection between the Langurs and the architecture in Hampi.
Hampi is also an important bird watching site in India for beautiful birds like Indian Eagle-owls, Spotted owlets and Painted Spur-fowls, which are also represented in this short wildlife film.
Close to the historical sites of Hampi is Daroji bear sanctuary. This is one of the few places in the world where you can see Sloth bears in the wild. Other than the Sloth bears, there are also other species such as Painted Spur-fowl, Ruddy Mongoose and stunning Indian Peafowl.
All footage was filmed by us on location. This was all filmed in March 2024.
