  • This film focusses on the wildlife rich areas around Bhigwan. From our base in the tranquil village of Kumbargaon, we searched for various wildlife in May 2023. In this film, we see the stories of the some unique species such as Greater flamingos, Indian foxes and cryptic birds like the Indian coursers.
These wildlife rich areas around Bhigwan are not strictly protected and these areas are not even a part of a national park or a nature reserve in India. Yet, they are home to some amazing and diverse species, some that are endemic to the Indian sub-continent. This film starts with the story about the flamingos that visit the backwaters every year, they are joined by a host of other birds and more than 300 species of birds have been recorded in this region. Then we move on to the Grassland habitats around Bhigwan and Baramati where we see the stories of the cute Indian foxes and rare birds such as the Indian courses and Mottled wood owls.
We really hope you enjoy this Indian wildlife film. Please remember to hit that like button if you do and subscribe to out channel. Please do have a look at some of our other films on the channel which you may enjoy as well.
Special thanks to Pratham and Milind from Jungle buddies for arranging this trip for us. Thank you to Mr Sandip Nagare from Agnipankh homestay for making our trip such a great success. Last but not the least, a big thank you to our wildlife guide, Ganesh for tirelessly working so hard to help us find all the wildlife.

Hello, thank you for the comment. The wildlife was actually around the different villages and government forests in the Bhigwan area, to be specific around the village of Kumbhargaon. The guide from Agnipankh Homestay drove us to the exact locations so unfortunately we do not have any more specific details.
