  • The wildlife in India is not limited to the National parks or Nature reserves or even some far away remote locations. This short wildlife film covers some of the species that can be found right inside the various habitats in Mumbai city.
There is a great diversity of birds in the city, from Black kites that soar in open view, to birds like Red-vented bulbuls, Common tailor birds and Oriental magpie robins that like to live a slightly more hidden lifestyle.
Mammals are found in the city too, such as the Palm squirrels and the Indian Flying foxes. The city is also home to more than a 100 species of stunning butterfly species.
All these species are not limited to Mumbai city but can also be seen in various other Indian cities.
