Nice tool for the shop. I have lights on my lathe but they are either not in the right place of to bright. My small magnetic light helps a lot.

look for sewing machine lights, you can get them for like 10 bucks with a mag base all day long, we use them on all the machines in our shop

I made two of these but like your method better. Using the base as a template 🤦‍♂️why didn’t I think of that? Cause I’m not that clever. Will from now on. Thanks for posting.
