  • Trap Bar Pendlay Row instructions:
    1. Your starting position should be feet about shoulder-width apart inside the center of the Trap Bar.
    2. Then, you will grab the middle of the handles with your arms straight.
    3. From there, slightly lower down your hips until your back is about parallel to the ground.
    4. Take a big breath into your belly, keeping your chest up and your core tight.
    5. Now pull the bar up towards your midsection until your elbows are aligned with your upper body, or slightly behind. Make sure to keep your elbows slightly tucked, and think about driving them up toward the ceiling above you.
    6. From there, lower the trap bar back to the starting position. Make sure the trap bar is set on the floor between each repetition, as you do not want to bounce the bar off the floor.
