Kevin, Cletus, and Steve come across as mellow guys who are likable. It takes a driven person with high standards to accomplish what they have. To have both characteristics is a rare sweet spot. They , plus Boosted Boys are my favorite TH-cam car channels. Rock on Steve and get well Kevin.
I hope people don't get all over Kevin because of this, Kevin is not the guy who will rush a build just to finish it, I wouldn't be surprised if he got sick because of working all those hours with no sleep he also has two daughters heavily involved in competitive gymnastics, we all would have loved to see it finished but its not the end of the world.
I was worried about the guys working 24 hours straight and kindly commented to them, DO NOT do that. When I was younger I had some 24 hour shifts and it is not good for you. Today the company I work for only allows 16 hours straight and then 8 hours rest.
At one time when I owned my own business I used to work 120hr a week at the very least, (6 day weeks due to religious beliefs) with a wife and new born child at home. After 9 months I kinda gave up, I felt like crap, it was hard to stay awake while working, and for those 9 months I do not remember the few moments I had with my new son. The time I lost and memories i lost with my family wasn't worth it. Had I of kept it up there would have been alot of very special moments I would have missed out on.
Tom Bailey is a legend. We wouldn’t have Cleetus if it hadn't been for Tom. And I wouldn't know about Kevin or Steve Morris if it wasn't for Cleetus. Love how the ripple effect has brought more GREAT creators to TH-cam.
Trust me, we've all known about Steve since the 90s, he's been a household name since then when it comes to building fast engines..... it's just _you_ who didn't 😅
Not gonna lie I’m bummed that the Camaro couldn’t get tested in time but glad to see that you value Val enough to not rush it. I hope Kevin gets well and that you and Tom have a great Sick Week with you edging him out on the last run!!! The Wagon needs to be on the top step of the podium.
I love the way in the US a street car basically just needs turn signals lights and a horn 😂. Love it!!! It reminds me of Australia in the 80’s when we were still in a free country
Not exactly ALL the requirements they require. You can put a horn, turn signals and lights on a pro mod but that pro mod cant drive the several hundred street miles like these cars have to do.
Some states it's that easy but others are a bit more difficult. Like you can't have a modified radiator support or firewall other similar things and then in some counties you have to pass SMOG
To be fair, getting a car registered is pretty easy. If most of the fast cars that are routinely doing the drag n drives were actually tested by officials, they would not be close to "street legal".
It's disappointing to read so many negative comments. Comparing the wagon to eagle, discounting Tom's world record D&D time and ET stat. Dumping on KSR & Kev... sheesh. We're here to simply enjoy the content, learn a few things along the way, get a daily dose of Dewey and grab some t-shirts & hoodies as well. Maybe offer some insight as our industries overlap on the manufacturing aspect with AL alloys. Cheers!
only the uneducated people even say that silly stuff. They dont even realize Eagle and the Wagon or Baileys cars arent even built to be the same type of car. The Engunes are built for totally different things so to compare them is just dumb.
Dont be afraid to take full advantage of them coldgates. You can use the cold gates for boost control early in the run to help bleed some power off instead of pulling so much timing to keep it hooked up. Then you can close them to bring the power in as fast as possible when you need it.
Hope Kevin gets better soon he pushes himself too hard and ignore the symptoms when something is wrong it will catch up with you. I know I did it myself and it totally took me out of out of the game and permanently sideline me. Don't ignore when something's wrong and keep pushing through thinking it will be okay.
I'm sure Kevin is just as bummed as u guys, sucks when life gets in the way of plans! Man the hotrods that run your motors are so damn cool. I love these big horse power drag n drives!
That Corvette is pretty insane. What a cool car. Thanks for update on Kevin. Glad things are good between you two. Stoked for sick week. Hoping to see the wagon get in the 5s!
There's been some bad crud clobbering people. Hopefully Kevin gets better soon, that guy burns the candle at both ends, so not to surprised he got sick.
I watch Horsepower Depot TH-cam (the Penningtons are the top FAST racers in the country). Jordan said in his last video that he has been dealing with an upper respiratory issue since Thanksgiving.
Hopefully kevin is better now. I know how disappointed he is on not making the deadline. But its netter to be safe and make it right the first time, than half ass it and have something bad happen. KSR is good people.
Steve I’ve seen all of your videos & I wear my Steve morris sweatshirt 5 out of 7 days I do have a few of them I really love your channel & I really do learn from your channel I thank u sir !!!!
Me too, I bought one to enter the Trailblazer giveaway and wore it so much it got faded and I already turned into into work clothes…been meaning to order a new one to keep nice now
Glad to hear that it's not bad blood or anything like that. Sad to hear that Kevin is sick. Was wondering about that beautiful Camaro and I'm a El Camino guy myself. Start of a new year and everyone is getting the last pieces on the cars for race season coming up fast. Stay safe and have a great year of racing the wagon
Intersting with the glowing headers from lack of timing. I know nothing about tuning big engines like these. My forte is smaller engines in quads and dirtbikes. Ive seen a few quads where the titanium header would glow purple after idling for a bit and that was due to running lean, usually people adding a full exhuast but not realizing they needed to jet it up a bit to compensate. Now im wanting to figure out timing on these smaller engines. They have advanced timing plates where the mounting screw holes are slotted where you can advance it up to 10 degrees or so.
Steve the Better half Camaro is perfect. Looking forward to seeing val in the Camaro running beside the wagon. The electric boost gate will help the car spool up better and surge.
❤ that 53 Vette , nice race car . ❤❤ Steve Morris , and thanks for today's class , still learning🎉🎉. Let's Go 5.70 drag and drive Boostmaster Wagon . ❤
Wifey says your wagon would be cooler with the white being 70's pee green! I tend to agree, though that car you have built is sick no matter what the paint is.
You’re a standup guy Steve. Sorry Val’s car won’t be finished but you keep with KSR. Thank for the update about Kevin, we fan got somewhat concerned as he just disappeared. Glad his health is better and we get some new updates.
Hey I have seen some comments on other channels, primarily the Cleetus channel and the FuelTech channel, where people argue about your hub dyno vs Fueltechs dyno. Some claim that they are the same. A video about your Dynocom hub dyno vs the Mainline at FuelTech would be cool. In that also explain why you can’t launch and drive the car on the Dynocom like you can on a Mainline.
That's a lanco transmission I'm not sure if he would shifting it for backwards but it can shift front to back back to front I believe and it does affect the way it drives our shifts and see if that's why it could be revenue 8,000 RPM really quick to be in low gear high gear or whatever I don't know I'm just thinking it's possibility
‘Vette looks like a nice build. Not sure why he went with a Bruno Lenco setup? Sounds like he is doing it the right way and going conservative in his first event. Goal has to be to just finish.
The radial tire by the way steve in 275 real man/ Lady. You know they are way different than the tire on the wagon. I would like to see you out on the street racing not D&D. I just trash talking mad respect for ya.
Seeing all of the different intakes has me wondering... Has anybody made a burst plate diverter to keep the shrapnel away from body work or Turbo intakes??? You know, like a small shield type hat that directs any debris. Of course, nothing that would impede the operation or purpose of the burst plate tho
@@stevenallen4123 TBF, a Roadmaster wagon has a literal Pro Mod equivalent wheelbase of 115" from the factory already lol. Probably has like 5"-7" more wheelbase than Cleet's 'Eagle', and I'm sure 'Sick Seconds 2.0' is stretched to about 115".

I was wondering why KSR wasn't putting video's out the last couple weeks. Hopefully Kevin is doing well.

Boosted boys rock. Liking them more than the big names every day.

Great address of The better half situation 🤙
Those tyres are just massive for the wagon 😳❤️

Hello Steve, sweet shop day update!
22:00 My LS is idling fine at 20-22 degrees. And MOST BBC engines idle with about the same and sometimes more depending on the cam and heads.
He said the LS engines were a bit different than the BBC.
The reason why toms engine ran that good is because we all know engines run better as they are ready to leave the chat for some reason
Yeah Nick and Dave are crazy like that but what they are doing is definitely going to help got faster
