Ive unlocked Engineer II for the Allies on Normandy. Yes they come with an unlockable Machine Gun Nest. One thing i noticed tho. Is that if you have an Engineer II on a different squad they cant build the nest. A bit like how Radio guys will still have a 4 minute cooldown on strikes if they are in a different squad even if you unlocked the x8 firing mode.
One important thing is that Fighter I and Fighter II have the same starting perk, and as such there is no reason to keep using Pilot I after you unlock Pilot II, as the extra perk points can come in handy, and this is valid for both campains.
Can you please do a break down of the upgrading of weapons. Start with the Squad upgrades for specific rifles, then what the upgrades do, why to target specific guns, etc...
So it seems to me like the overall breakdown is this: Low-number guys have worse perk-using ability, but are easier to unlock upgrades for. Whereas high-number guys use perks better but are harder to upgrade, especially since upgrades don't transfer between guys with different numbers (weapons and equipment do, however). In addition, all numbers cost the same to buy so it comes down to preference rather than them being straight upgrades. *However*, it seems like certain units have abilities locked to their number rank rather than the upgrades tree (Engineer MG nests, and there may be more) and there are unverified reports that higher-numbered units will perform better when controlled by the AI (which might be confirmation bias, or actually the result of higher-level equipment, etc.). So there's some stuff left to investigate.
There's not really a "better" weapon. As it's more of play style or weapon handling. For instance. The k98 is a beast all the way around. The dmg/range/sights are great. The mannlicher rifle is also great all around but the sights are smaller. Or the fnab vs mp40 both are great but the fnab has better recoil control. The lvl of weapon helps a lot as well. But honestly it comes down to what you like to use. Which should be the gewhre! :)
@@joedarling5175 to be fair some weapons are definitely better at fulfilling their role than alternatives. My friend and I were really hating how outclassed we felt with the MP 28 compared to even the starter Soviet smg. But once we unlocked the 38 it was far easier to squad wipe people. Its a massive upgrade.
Could you make a break down on maps (where are the best routes, sniper positions, places to avoid, etc) and a video on how to use tanks the best and most importantly where to shoot an other tank
Does it bother anyone else a lot too, that instead of the (large) ammo pouch adding something like a bandolier or bag of ammo to the soldier model.. it adds 1 set of pouches? It's one of the only things that really breaks my immersion in the way the game looks sometimes cosmetic wise. Soldiers should always have standard ammo pouches, and equipables should be éxtra, not basic. I mean, there are options Gaijin, why not?

it's in the backpack slot of your soldier, have to unlock it first for your specific soldier type in the upgrades section of the relevant squad ( so engineer squad for engineer, mg squad for mg etc.). if you unlock secondary weapon slot you can't take backpack. i don't play germans so don't know about them but for example with sovjet assaulter i would choose backpack slot as you can get 1 or 2 extra drum mags for when you unlock 73-round ppd and that gun is great but needs more ammo ( starts with 1 extra drum). for usa assaulter i would choose extra weapon slot because the grease gun is pretty meh and loses all capabilities over 25 meters so that springfield on your back becomes pretty nice and i personally don't tend to run out of ammo with it. then again going grenade pouch with most classes is also not bad as explosives + smokes can be a very nice combo, 5 soldiers with smokes can make a nice smoke screen for attacks. lastly never choose extra weapon for troopers ( except maybe, big maybe for usa), because 2 rifles..... well it seems pointless to me. for usa one might argue for a bolt action rifle and a m1 carbine but not my cup of tea.
I would say it's just trial and error. Try different positions on the map you're playing to find what the general populous doesn't aim at or doesn't bother searching and exploit that position.
@@techelitesareadisease8816 not really because bots don't detect foliage if you kill a member of a squad then don't move IMMEDIATLY you can get laser beam sniped by a bot from across the map since the kill cam reveals your location...
I've heard rumors that it increases AI accuracy, but I've never seen that proven or confirmed. It's pretty linear in the amount of perk points you get until rank 5 where it explodes and you get a lot of points
@@ostrobogulousgaming not exactly. You need 16 points of vitality available to get that perk. I haven't seen a soldier with that - even my level 5 radio operator
Any class can get that perk as long as they have 16 vitality perk points available. Normally, Assaults and Flamers are the ones that get this perk because they have bonus vitality.
Unpopular opinion but I'm alright with grind and pay to win in a game like this....AS LONG as they keep it complicated and offer a huge variety of possibilities to build your battalion. If someone really pays all the money for everything good for them, but chances are this wont happen and you won't be in a match with them. Instead I think it creates a environment were most f2p players are pushed towards what they are good at/enjoy and it makes it feel like Planetside were sometimes unbalance is a good thing because it inspires creativity

I feel like at end of day it's kinda useless bc it's gonna be ai all u need is a good sniper and it's a whole squad wipe no matter perks or stars remember it's a 1 shot kill most of the time so 1 shot done if anything just focus on skill and squad upgrades but good thing to balance it out

Day 16 of enlisted. Grinding the 9 a day takes a lot but I'm really leveling the campaigns up. Problem is I'm just grinding everything for the better. Not building a team attack strat.
Now I wonder this: why I should waste order troops on lvl 1 soldiers, if later I can get lvl 2 soldiers? And why I would lvl up lvl 1 squad, if I get lvl 2 squads of the same class?
I take it that this is no longer true since the academy is no longer in the game. Can yu redo this video to explain how it works now as I am a new player and never even saw the academy? Thanks. Love your videos.

It's true, i saw a guy building one MG42 nest yesterday, i was thinking : WTF?! What i don't understand is why sometimes i can't even build a AA or AT? Too many built already? Now the only think that we need more information now is about the ranks of soldiers, really break it down, perks and stuff, the "perk points numbers", all of it.
Rly hope this video helps as its obvious that Engineer 2 is better then 1 but whats the difference between the rest other then better guns and mabye perks

The perks help, but they are not game breaking. The only one I'd say is game breaking is bonus HP and that is very rare to get

Yes. Pistols are a rare bonus drop for the random weapon orders. The axe is as well.

yo, I think a sniper guide would be super useful, I have the aim but dont know what to use or where to play so I just get boddied, I need help!

In my experience my AI gets a lot more kills at higher ranks than lower ranks, so I think the rumors are true

Well the perks are different, plus if you wait, you wont have very many high rank soldiers at all.
so i wasted all my cards on #1s when i should save for #2 and #3s
Don't sweat it! Youll get more cards, and you can always use the lower levels as fodder for the academy

It's all default for the most part. Mouse Acceleration to 0. 800 DPI. Graphics are all on high with VSync and 60 FPS cap (because streaming).

why is there sniper 3 in some campaign, 2 in others.. .. 2 picks for gold orders on some, 1 on others..
It's just how the campaigns have been fleshed out, probably add everything in as the game is updated
Shouldn’t only the German engineers be able to build mg42 nests since the mg42 is a German machine gun???
You might also be able to build it on Tunisia even if your trying to play with only Italian squads just like Brits also build American MG's on Tunisia

You can build AA and At guns only with engineer squad. Engineers in other squads can't do that

Game is incredibly grindy without purchasing anything. Guess Gaijin is known for that.

Nope. Theres rumors that soldier rank affects AI performance but ive never seen it proven or confirmed.
