Yeah, RNGesus is always near you to guide your shells away from the targets. Doesnt matter you are aiming directly at some weakspot from 50m, the shell will just fly out of the barrell and then suddenly change its trajectory, because why not.

I used to play WT, it had its fun, one shotting 20 tanks in a row was fun, the player base of wot is what makes it for me, 90 year olds, 10 year olds, and people in the hopsital missing half their brain, you cannot tell them apart and you just farm them

What server do you play in? I play in Asia and people rarely play like that. They usually either camp, play frontline horribly, play frontline amazingly or do hit-and-runs.

I was playing WoT yesterday, came up against a KV 220 in my T28 (tier 4) and I noticed it only turned green when aiming at the gun, so I shot and did full damage. and I melted about 550 of his HP just by shooting the gun.
In some ways that would be almost unplayable things through some of the overpowered guns of World of Tanks. Farmer would become irrelevant. But in other ways it would be fun just one shotting everybody with the risk of killed in one shot. I do wish that War Thunder and World of Tanks would combine their arsenal of Tanks while balancing out some issues but a dream is but a dream
WOT will always be interesting due to the system of random damage + -25% to the average value, and + -25% random penetration. And the spread of shells is somewhat different than in WT. So this is interesting. But this is not the case in BT, simply because they wery often kill you with one shot, it’s not interesting and boring.

I always liked WT better. It feels more skill based than the RNG of WoT. Needing to know the weak spots of every tank you're bound to face is critical.
The sad thing about WoTB is that even if you want to stop playing, after year break you come back and cry Beacose of nostalgia. WT or normal WoT are games that are not nostalgia because you don’t make breaks from these games
I think they are both cool, because WOT has a great graphics and its just tanks, and Warthunder is cooler because it has planes ships and tanks, more like warthunder is mixed world of tanks, world of warplanes and world of warships.

@@mikeporter1005 yes, on PC. To deal damage to EBRs, it is required that the shell hit the chassis or turret. Wheels will magically absorb and just be critically damaged (0 HP damage), which is not enough because this things can still run at least 40kph.

played wotb for years before i switched to war thunder. been playing for war thunder for about 2 years, and whenever i go to wotb for fun or something i suffer because the playstyle is so diffrent. got called a camper
@@carized8852 yea I agree. I was so used to being able to see most of the enemies, and push confidently, that when I began playing war thunder I had a severe case of what they call “tunnel vision”.
Playing both WoT and WoTB with WT's playstyle is a big mistake, WoT games benefits from tactical gameplay, meaning a lot of close combat, while WT benefits from who sees who first, which usually means a lot of hiding at long ranges. So it's pretty understandable why you'd get called out for camping. Although I have never seen you play before, so I may be wrong.
@@ember2933 yea i agree. wotb is very "push fast and speed" and in war thunder you benefit from staying hidden. although, different tanks do it in different ways. heavy's usally push the cap as their frontal armour can bounce most shots, the lights can speed around the opponets lines, shooting and scooting. medium's are mediums, supporting heavy's, and TD's go boom. thats how it is supposed to be anyway.

I used to play wotb for about 4 years before finding war thunder, my mains issue in wotb was how annoying alot of the players were, like why the fuck do they have to run through my entire team just to kill me on low health and then they die 5 seconds later, oh and all the dumd events and shit didnt help either with me staying

wot really changed these past few years, for some reason a supposedly full penetration to the gun barrel is a block??? except for the matchmaking, it still sucks.
The gun barrel is coded to “absorb” shells that strike it. Old HE could still deal damage, but AP, APCR and HEAT would just get gobbled up. Oddly enough, the bottom of tank tracks are also coded this way… shooting the tracks of a tank on its side won’t do damage, even if their is damageable hull “above” the tracks.
@@Zeknif1 Not exactly, the HEAT will absorb it, AP and APCR will damage and penetrate it, so unless there's no hull after that pen, it will still damage the tank. Not talking about the wheels because it literally absorb anything.
Pretty much. Can't pen the armor? Break their gun barrel and tracks and try and find a weakness while they can't fight back. Die to T-34s over and over again until you realize that they have shit armor between the tracks and around the turret ring.

War Thunder. I play both and the grind on WT is… yeah. It’s way worse than in Wargaming’s games. (WoT and WoWs) Edit: someone pointed out that when switching tanks in WoT, you have to grind to retrain even if they’re already trained for that vehicle. Both games have dumb grinds on different things.
at least with WT you don't have to regrind your crew when switching vehicles. My dad plays WoT, everytime i see him playing i see that the tanks don't have a rl armor mechanic, and literally is a Pay-To-Wij game since practically you can't damage a Tank that is premiun sometimes, even if you shoot him in the wheels, it just says "Missed shoot"

Is that a thing for pc? I play WOT on console and any shell will nick my wheel and damage me while breaking the wheel.
@@mikeporter1005 yes, on PC. To deal damage to EBRs, it is required that the shell hit the chassis or turret. Wheels will magically absorb and just be critically damaged (0 HP damage), which is not enough because this things can still run at least 40kph.
Imagine ERA in WoT, someone shoots a gold heat shell and does no damage. That would be funny.
Hitting an EBR with hesh from a 183 and dealing 0 damage, I know the feeling all too well
This shows the importance of working together, which no one likes doing in either game. Good thing in WT everything dies in 1 shot.

played wotb for years before i switched to war thunder. been playing for war thunder for about 2 years, and whenever i go to wotb for fun or something i suffer because the playstyle is so diffrent. got called a camper
I'm learning war thunder from wotb and rng problem still slightly there but those damn planes
@@carized8852 yea I agree. I was so used to being able to see most of the enemies, and push confidently, that when I began playing war thunder I had a severe case of what they call “tunnel vision”.
Playing both WoT and WoTB with WT's playstyle is a big mistake, WoT games benefits from tactical gameplay, meaning a lot of close combat, while WT benefits from who sees who first, which usually means a lot of hiding at long ranges.
So it's pretty understandable why you'd get called out for camping.
Although I have never seen you play before, so I may be wrong.
@@ember2933 yea i agree. wotb is very "push fast and speed" and in war thunder you benefit from staying hidden. although, different tanks do it in different ways. heavy's usally push the cap as their frontal armour can bounce most shots, the lights can speed around the opponets lines, shooting and scooting. medium's are mediums, supporting heavy's, and TD's go boom. thats how it is supposed to be anyway.

I used to play wotb for about 4 years before finding war thunder, my mains issue in wotb was how annoying alot of the players were, like why the fuck do they have to run through my entire team just to kill me on low health and then they die 5 seconds later, oh and all the dumd events and shit didnt help either with me staying
Yeah, WoTB is really annoying, but WoT is much better. There’s good balance for most of the tanks while still being historically accurate.
My only problem with WT and I am playing rn is getting SL

@@xenomorph9114 I’m saying it’s *better* not perfect. Also artillery is not as good as you think. It’s useless on any city map and normally has massive spread. I haven’t played against EBRs so I can’t comment on that.

wot really changed these past few years, for some reason a supposedly full penetration to the gun barrel is a block??? except for the matchmaking, it still sucks.
The gun barrel is coded to “absorb” shells that strike it. Old HE could still deal damage, but AP, APCR and HEAT would just get gobbled up. Oddly enough, the bottom of tank tracks are also coded this way… shooting the tracks of a tank on its side won’t do damage, even if their is damageable hull “above” the tracks.
@@Zeknif1 Not exactly, the HEAT will absorb it, AP and APCR will damage and penetrate it, so unless there's no hull after that pen, it will still damage the tank. Not talking about the wheels because it literally absorb anything.

Pretty much. Can't pen the armor? Break their gun barrel and tracks and try and find a weakness while they can't fight back. Die to T-34s over and over again until you realize that they have shit armor between the tracks and around the turret ring.

War Thunder. I play both and the grind on WT is… yeah. It’s way worse than in Wargaming’s games. (WoT and WoWs)
Edit: someone pointed out that when switching tanks in WoT, you have to grind to retrain even if they’re already trained for that vehicle. Both games have dumb grinds on different things.

WOT: oh hey. i need to go back to the lower ranks cuz I'm low on money. oh i have to retrain my crew? but they already trained for this tank a couple of months ago, they even logged about 200 battles in this tank, but they have to retrain? and it costs HOW MUCH? oh i could pay for the training with premium cash so I don't have to grind them just to reach full capacity?

@@euriopelsjeksie 워썬더 리얼리스틱 지상전에서는 비행기로 스폰이 가능함. 영상에 나온 Pe-8은 소련 5톤짜리 폭탄으로 유명한 애고 그리고 애초에 워썬더는 원래 공중전밖에 없던 겜이었음

My dad plays WoT, everytime i see him playing i see that the tanks don't have a rl armor mechanic, and literally is a Pay-To-Wij game since practically you can't damage a Tank that is premiun sometimes, even if you shoot him in the wheels, it just says "Missed shoot"
I play WOT but do understand the appeal of wt
