- "The Traitors" Season 2 has come to an end, closing with some surprising banishments and a big win! Fellow Faithfuls and "The Challenge" icons Chris "CT" Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella ultimately took home the prize pot, while Sandra Diaz-Twine, Kate Chastain and Mercedes "MJ" Javid were all banished. CT and Trishelle talked to Access Hollywood about the dramatic episode, sharing the details behind their decision-making at the final roundtable and the fire of truth, and reflecting on how it all came to a head at the reunion. They also dished on taking home the win together as "Challenge" alums, revealed the strategic savvy and strokes of luck that helped them get to the end, and shared if they'd be down to take on another reality competition together. I’m so happy they won!!!! Out of everyone left once Peter & Parvati left, i was rooting for CT, Trishelle & Sandra the most. I absolutely loooove this show
The way they tackled the endgame was justified, and Trishelle still suspecting CT at the end made this an interesting finale. Worth mentioning that they were mission heavyweights earning a lot of the prize money.
How was it justified? Coz they are close buddies and closer when cameras are off...

I feel CT deserved the money he worked for it.Every physical mission he did most of the work. MJ had issue with you because you weren’t compassionate to her feelings. She said her real issue was with CT. Everyone saying why didn’t she vote CT because he wasn’t in Pete’s Pals. He was in the left overs with her. 😂She probably had more of a relationship with him and she knew he was a faithful. However both of them threw in the red to keep going.
She didn’t saying anything on the reunion about it being one or the others fault, she blocked em both bc she’s a crybaby, “it’s not fair” 😂

i mean i get it but when you look at the season overall they played the game better and did really good in the challenges. mj basically coasted her way to the end by being naive the entire time. i do agree that they hoed her tho
I get it now. I blasted you two(CT and Trishelle) for how they did MJ. But in all seriousness, and after putting myself in their shoes with what limited info they had, I think I would have done the same thing they did. Sucks for MJ, but there had to be some sort of alliance at the end or a total solo win. Congrats guys. Sorry for the bad things I said. Avoiding spoilers here. BUT. If you've seen the heartbreak on one of the final two contestants face in the Australian version, you'll understand. It's a tear jerker moment because a final backstab takes place, and it literally hurts. The point being, I can totally see why CT didn't want to risk that hurt. Good game guys.

Two deserving winners
The prize money should be higher considering that they always have to split it unless a traitor wins. This was the worst season in the history of the show.

For me too! They played dirty - there was NO reason why they could not have shared that money. It was about greed. Pure and simple. Play the game, but play it with honor. They were not honorable throwing MJ under the bus for NO reason!

It’s funny Trishelle gets all the hate when CT was literally winking to Trishelle before voting MJ. Greed almost cost him due to Trishelle being overly paranoid but it’s just funny that it’s clear he was more ‘in the wrong’ as it was prob his plan from the jump. Trishelle might be telling the truth here cause she’s so erratic but CT is 1000% lying. Btw I have no issue with this move but it’s funny that neither will admit what they did. MJ stunk at this game and was consistently clueless and borderline worthless in challenges lol.
