I love how, at the 3 minute mark, Brian had just made a very convincing argument not to vote for him, then completely undoes it with his own actions minutes later
Brian was safe until he opened his mouth. Even though he was a faithful he has absolutely nobody to blame but himself. That was a verbal signature of a death warrant as you're ever going to see.
@@osdonaewqe8204 After watch UK, AUS and CA, it's become clear to me that this is actually the next best strategy for the Faithfuls. The traitors have quite a significant advantage IMO... Anybody that voices a sound logic, who are branded "Traitor Hunters" after a good streak of sniffing out Traitors or the ones who are too popular and shows a lot of influence over others. They stick out like a freaking nail to be hammered. I think last season, they got lucky because Kieran threw a bit of a tantrum and basically "told" the Faithfuls that Wilf was a Traitor. And that sucks because it's not in the spirit of the game...
The irony is before the roundtable Brian decided he had to come more forward because most people had said he was the most sheepish of the lot. So he did come forward in the most hilariously self-destructive way possible.
It felt a bit like shooting himself in the left foot with his opening statement, shooting himself in the right foot with his defence, and finally shooting himself in the head just before the roundtable vote for good measure. I do feel for him though. I don't know whether it was social anxiety or just plain nerves taking over, but I've suffered both in the past when I was a young adolescent and unsure of my abilities, and I can confirm it feels awful.
The "sheep" thing REALLY got to him. Insecurity took over. It was hard to watch when he asked the entire table what they thought of him and them responding by attacking him and laughing at him. Perfect representation of how society treats emotional men when they try to reach out for help. I know it's the game where you're not supposed to trust anyone, but I find it weird how nearly every single person voted him out for this and didn't mark it up to "He's obviously upset because he got voted Biggest Sheep, I mean, who wouldn't be?" Honestly though, if I was on this show and had been voted "biggest sheep" I probably would've been fuming, but that'd just prompt me to prove them all wrong.
@@lepreconvict3606 Being the Biggest Sheep can be seen as a signal that everyone thought he was a traitor that always band-wagoned and vote for whatever name came up at roundtable and that way go under the radar.
I felt awkward for him whilst watching that. It would have been better for him to carry on being a "sheep" and stay quiet a bit longer. He put a huge spotlight on himself for no reason at the table. Nobody was mentioning him until he put a target on himself 😂
It was Brian's attempt at leaning in/being more offensive... and people were just thinking "well we need to find one person to banish and this guy just keep insisting that he wants to get out."
The whole time I was screaming shut your mouth Brian 😂 The more he spoke the more traitorous he looked. Poor guy, that sheep comment really messed him up.

Brian’s brain came off the rails so hard that my mind briefly couldn’t verify the information it was receiving. I do feel bad for him. But the sheep comment was exactly where you’d want to be in this game. It was his whole game plan anyway. He admitted such in a talking-head segment.

Lol, i got so caught up binging the AUS and CA version, i forgot about this "sheep" thing and Brian's complete meltdown... Poor guy, it should be obvious that he's not a traitor and is just very rattled by this "sheep" thing but i guess it's a good strategy for the Faithfuls to not paint a target on their backs by being too good and getting branded as a "Traitor Hunter". Just as much as the Traitors are, the Faithfuls also needs to be wolves in sheep's clothing.
This is probably going to sound like a dumb question, but can someone please explain to me why Brian took offence at being compared to a sheep? I can personally can't think of any reason why being called a sheep would be considered a bad thing
Calling someone a "sheep" is telling them that they're meek & unopinionated, and insinuating that they'd always stick with the popular crowd instead of forming their own perspective & acting accordingly.
I think it was a combo of the preceding "selfish" comment, the panic, the "amn't" (which is apparently a Scottish word but I'd never heard it before) and various other things that combined to just make it a weird moment@@yellowsnake1048

Brian seems genuinely anxious and crumbled
Ash seems guilty
