mo b If you use stainless steel, than only washing them daily by hand and little dishwashing solution will do the job, and once on a week will be enough for cleaning with chemicals. First part is for non-stainless materials that need constant torough cleaning once a day.

Stainless steel porta-filters need only 30min soak. Traditional brass filters require overnight soaking. Hope that clears it up.
