Thank you to @FitmentIndustries for sending my porsche all the way to Tennessee! I'm so stoked to be in town for Slammedenuff Gatlinburg. To start our trip out, we took the 911 all the way to the tail of the dragon. Afterwards, we cruised the strip, went to the premeet, met up with friends, and drove the local touges!

So rad to see you in my state enjoying it! I love about a 30 minute drive from tail of the dragon. There are so many good roads out here aside from the dragon with incredible views!

Next time you visit the Smokey Mountains check out the Diamondback Loop, you'll love driving it! I haven't driven a car on these roads yet, only a motorcycle, but I can't wait to next year!

Was able to hit the dragon same day as you and it was incredible the FK8 really came alive on that road. Seeing all the cars was mind blowing besides traffic it was an epic weekend.
Been to the dragon twice and each time it’s been a blast. The most fun roads I’ve ever driven. #Tailofthedragon

That backdrop on mountain is beautiful. Kinda looks like fantasy film. Would look sick on a canvas.
Tail of the dragon! I would take my ‘77 Datsun 280z Racecar through it! Someday I will! I did pikes peak last year it was absolutely insane highly recommend!
If you come back to the dragon, drive a road people call "the hell bender." Its an awesome road left of the gas station and goes to Fontana Village. Cherohala sky way looks the road you were on at the end, awesome views.

I’m taking my BRZ there for the first time in June. I’ll be there for 5 days on the dragon so I should get a lot of good driving time! That Porsche sounds awesome and it’s such a good car for roads like that.

I will be driving my 2014 Porsche Cayman S through the TOTD on Wednesday this week! I've driven it multiple times in multiple vehicles. I absolutely love it!

Awesome video as always Dustin. The tail of the dragon is such a insane road. My parents drove the dragon in the late 70s early 80s in their Datsun Z and my mom filmed it. They said it's a crazy ride up and down it. # tailofthedragon

Get some of those LED headlight buckets for the Porsche if you haven't already. They make an LED projector that's plug and play.

As someone who has taken a few of my cars on the Dragon I will say it's cool to do it but honestly the mountain roads in north Georgia are way better. There is a loop around Helen, Ga that is the best to do in my opinion.

I want to take my 944 turbo on the tail of the dragon, I've never been to the east coast (funny enough i've been to several countries overseas and Canada, shows how American I am) and it's definitely a bucket list location !
This was my first year going to slammedenuff, brought my jzx90 and had a ton of fun driving around pigeon forge. Wish I realized tail of the dragon was so close, guess I know for next year!
You should grab a sto and show mount, they are used for quick release plates, buuuut they offer GoPro mounts. So you can have ideal front mounted gopros
8:43 West Coast boi experiences the Great Smoky Mountain roads/views for the first time. Lol. I'm from Virginia, but we go to east Tennessee for vacation every year. The scenery is unmatched as far as East Coast mountain views go. I want to move there, but it's unfeasible right now with my job.

Tail of the Dragon is a great stretch of highway but if you want the best, check out Hwy 212 ....the Beartooth Highway. Much more technical and a way better challenge.
I've added Tail of the Dragon cruise to my bucket list and hope to take my 2000 Honda S2000 one day.
My first experience on the tail was phenomenal. It completely changes the way a car can feel behind the wheel.

I took mt 2015 wrx and my 2019 Jetta, my wrx was an absolute blast. However if I could pick whatever car, honestly a gt4.
Just did the tail in a new turbo s last week! It’s the best road in the US!
The best roads are the ones we don’t talk about all over north Georgia and Tennessee. There’s a private road that is about 15 miles long that is the perfect road and the owners welcome respectful car guys.
