Dimitris Kotronakis's demonstration of the "pick" classical guitar technique, or the "one finger" technique. www.kotronakis.com facetofaceguita... www.facetofaceg...
Thanks so much, it's incredible tremolo can be played quite the same as for p-a-m-i, but especially stunning is this for Abejias Barriois and Bach. Very impressive,
Hello, I play electric for 4 years and did not really work on fingerpicking but this video is very inspiring for me. I can imagine how much practice that was to make this idea work. Shows that being open-minded is worth it. I may try classical guitar. Thank you for sharing this!
I play it differently. I strike very tip of my finger, flesh, 75% of movement in the direction of the string, only about 25% up and down. I can play it with any finger or any combination of fingers, except for pinky the rebel who sometimes does but mostly doesn't. I must say I am much more sloppy with my thumb, I usually help him/ replace him with index/middle with picking and/or strumming.
I think the sound between two notes is closer and perhaps we can get better intensity and quality but why don't you use the middle an index finger instead of use one finger and flexion and extension?
Beautiful technique it’s a delight to watch you play. Your tone is so balanced when you play both ways learned a lot watching it thank you so much !
Thanks for posting this! It is very generous to share this information. Beautiful playing too!
