Hi Ken Wu Lin You are so right and that is the beauty of this school. For two decades now, they have done this and it is still going strong. Those kids want to be in that band and basically have given up everything to be there. I read somewhere that they are pushed into the band and badly treated, well I am sorry, but that is a load of crap. Watch the war cry before a performance, they are so tight as one 👍 A good example of this is Ovils and how they have carried on with this before a performance, in shouting, Tachibana Tension , followed by the famous scream. The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊
The talent and skill displayed by these musician/athletes is epitomized by them performing the "running circles" maneuver, in a small space, to perfection. Though no longer performed, this maneuver required not only strength and skill, but courage and constant practice...The🍊😈 way to🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆❗
What power, energy, movement - this rocks. Lot of stuff they presented at the Bandfest before the 2012 Rose Parade. This does not age. Unfortunately I have to agree with some of the other comments about 2022 performances - they seemed to be toned down. They seem to lack the fire of previous years. I can only guess - a different music director concentrating more on "pure music" rather than overall performance, or some other reason(s). Whatever KT has given us memories, courtesy of modern technology, which put them in a class of their own. I have never seen their like anywhere else, and don´t expect to. Thanks for the memories KT SHS Band.
The message of KT Taiwan performance on Oct 10 10 2022 based on tunes played was 1. No more war (Down by the Riverside = "ain't goingt' study war no more" 2. Tachibana Japanese Girls and Boys come to Taiwan smiling happily to celebrate friendship & peace (fanfare for Tacibana + entrance of Gladiators) 3. Taiwan-Japan celebrate mutual love - love song "If you love me" played - Japanese bought Taiwanese bananas when CCP banned them so shape of bananas formed while playing the song. 4. Short sing and swing wrote + + (double 10) for Taiwan's National Day 5. Family health, Unity drinking happily and dancing "in the mood" Super Mario Bros, Little brown jug and in the mood. (A Japanese band did not come to Taiwan "saber rattling" and playing lively Milliary Victory matches as if trying to conquer Taiwan again) Sorry, YOU must be IGNORANT of KT SHS Band's "spiritual" messages.
@@set3777 Hello, did we get out if the wrong side of bed this morning? (That is the politest way of putting it). My comments were about the contrast between the shown performance (plus similar ones over many years until approx. 2021-22) and contained no mention of the specific Taiwan performances. As with other viewers I have noted a distinct change since the retirement of the previous Music Director in 2018. These changes took time and only came in gradually. ( I regard some of their later 2018 performances as amongst their best.). My point (or criticism for some people) was the changes in all performances, and chiefly carried out inside Japan. I am aware that (according to some) that amongst the pupils there was a desire to go for a more sedate style. Nothing wrong with that. (Their training being extremely demanding and organised by the senior students, which can, if you have ever seen students teaching students, can occasionally become rather overbearing, and seniors pushed juniors to reach the standards necessary. Usually the seniors were understanding but the previous Music Director did refer to such problems when interviewed in retirement from KT). It is the arrangement of the tunes which unsettles so many, and that is down to the present Music Director - the students can only play what they are coached to play. Think of any of your favourite tunes, or groups, and examine the same tune played in different ways. Some hit the mark, others don´t. A recent example to be found on TH-cam would be "Sun Quan the Emperor". I have listened to at least seven versions - four leave me unimpressed and three (played with very different instrumentation on all three) are amongst my all-time favourites. But that is only my opinion - we all have different tastes. The previous Music Director said his primary objective was to entertain the audiences, and when that was coupled with the dance moves orchestrated by the students (not forgetting the Marching Director) the result was a host of world --beating performances. As one person commented, KT was "the most Fun and Entertaining band" he/she had ever seen" - totally agree. They could play tunes I would normally have little or no interest in and make them into some of the best entertainment I have ever seen. Compare some of the often played tunes in the last couple of years with previous years - spot the differences in pace, which instruments take which role, the emphasis points and the accompanying movements. If you, or anyone else, are still entertained, okay, fine. But as I have mentioned elsewhere I believe the produce from KT will now be best received by a different sort of audience, especially their street performances. (By the way, I hope they are well received in the next appearance in the States, but it seems they will be offering different fare. We´ll see.) The present Music Director seems to be offering arrangements normally used by long lived bands in their elder years. But KT is composed of 16-18 year olds - full of life. And that was one of the original aims - to project the vitality of youth, but in a non-military way. And KT was sidelined for many years because of that and it was largely because of success abroad, and some internal Japanese tv programmes, that they started to receive the recognition they deserved. Here was a Japanese High School band not only capable of entertaining foreigners ( some being recent enemies in WWII) but could also hold their own with anybody in a sit-down full orchestra performance. Something the Japanese could be really proud of, with no connection to anything military. Their Glen Miller numbers certainly had swing, which in Taiwan (amongst other places) was so watered down as to be almost unrecognisable. That is not a desire for "saber rattling" stuff - it is a desire for a swing number to swing. Thankfully "Down by the Riverside" has only been slightly tampered with. But I did see one recent version of "Sing Sing Sing" in Blumen Hugel (in Japan) which was distincty anaemic. I loved KT for offering entertainment I have not seen before or since. Marching bands normally have no attraction for me but KT was something very special, probably due to a special combination of factors which would be very difficult to duplicate and things change - that is life. But they have left behind some superb performances. To continue as they were would be difficult and maybe not desirable ( a Change is as good as a Rest). But for people to try and deny the right of others to point out certain differences is like those people, often found in certain parts of politics or religion, who tolerate no views but their own. And a final comment (for the moment). In some of the videos of the 2017 Bandfest when KT is marching out, you can pick out the original Music Director, (then 83) in the front row, waving his hat at the band as they passed beneath him, while behind him the audience was giving them a standing ovation. Surely this was a sweet moment for him - the culmination of his efforts to project a Marching Band not in the typical Military Style but one displaying youthful vigour, fun and enjoyment. (You can see what he was trying to do in the older videos, and this was continued with the next Music Director, and then enhanced when they took up dance movements.) In Taiwan, it was good, compared to other bands, especially the choreography, but I kept longing for them to show some of the spark of several years earlier, to entertain in another country as they had in the States. But not so. In the Rose Parade of 2018 they wiped the floor with any of the military style bands (judging by the audience reactions). They are still different, well above similar bands, but now going in a different direction. I wish them luck. As for people who behave like Ayatollas, they will always be around, but luckily only dangerous to the rest of the human race if they achieve power in some field or other.
@@alanallison3200 Taiwan trip invitation came in May 2022. So the Band lead by 119th Term Seniors (april 2022 - march 2023) played music largely centered around Taiwan Trip theme of peace, friendship and love. Wild FIRBALL music was not appropriate. FYI: Don't you know that Professor Hisashi Hiramatsu (平松久司) personally "head-hunted" Yutaka Yutaka Kaneshiro (兼城 裕) in March 2018 telling him to quit from being a public school teacher and Join KT SHS Private School as a music teacher. Prof. Hiramatsu told Kaneshiro-sensei to rebuild the KT Band as if starting a Wind Orchestra FROM SCRATCH. Tanaka immediatly resigned (in protest?) and joined some other schools bands and Yokohama was no longer employed as marching coach. There is much improvements since. 2 AJMC national gold 2021 and 2022. The culture in the band has also become very friendly and happy. There is no more somebody stealing the DMs spotlight by coming fully dressed WALKING with a BIGGER MACE while there were already 3 DMs in Orange Uniform dancing with their Batons. For e.g. DM Kihana-san & Club President Takeuchi-san shown in Taiwan without being hijacked. Slow love songs and dream songs & other genre of music have been introduced. After all the band's moto had ALWAYS been:- Full of energy & full of Smiles & full of dreams.
Thankyou for the information. Unfortunately it offers more explanation about the changes that have occurred. Please note changes are a part of life and depending on one´s tastes, standards, background, prejudices, experiences (etc) can be looked at in many ways - just different, or better, or worse or any combination. So people should be allowed to express their opinions to changes. I do not say to others -"You must share the same reactions, beliefs, tastes, etc.etc. as me" and others should not be saying that to me, or anybody else. Freedom of thought and feelings should be a basic human right (within limits, there are always extremists). I am fully aware that KT would think about what tunes were the most suitable when going abroad. So Fireball is classified as Wild, - well, well, but okay to miss it out if that is thought diplomatic . My main point was the arrangements and Taiwan was just a side point. It is the recent arrangements performed in Japan that concerned me ( and not just me, others make similar points ). If some people think those changes are for the better - fine, we all have different tastes, but it is not illegal to disagree. If the members of KT are pleased with what they are doing in recent years - fine. (But that surely does not match the some of the views expressed, in previous years, by students and those who went on to join O-Vils. But you could answer they were not representative, or student thinking has changed). I would point out that Head-Hunting does not guarantee success and there are many failed examples in business, politics and sport (and also successes). How KT used to train and perform was incredibly demanding and it is totally understandable that a slightly easier format has been selected. Plus how long could such a demanding environment be continued? Look - you obviously believe that the present Music Director is on the right path. I would not say he is on the wrong path but a very different one, and therefore the audience most appreciated of what they are doing will experience changes. I would love to know what the American who wrote that (in the Rose Parade) "these bands went past playing a type of funeral music, then along came KT and cheered everyone up), is thinking of any recent performances - maybe approve, maybe disappointed. Whatever his/her reaction is it should be respected. I have shared videos of older KT performances and most have had good reactions - the exceptions being those who don´t really go for any music. (There were spectators at the Rose Parade who were more interested in the floats - humans are not of one kind). I have not forwarded any recent videos. I tried to point out the musical changes prompting that - fell on deaf ears - to explain my reaction. Put it this way, whilst writing this e-mail I have written down eight tunes which I regard as being superior to the original when performed by KT, and trained by the previous Music Director. Just my view. Nothing similar under the present Director. Their older performances still fill me with pleasure and, as I said, we should be thankful for such incredible entertainment. And, for the record, I include in that slower, tunes with more "feel" . If I say I won´t be watching many of their performances in the future (but will, now and again, have a look - to be fair) you could answer "Bye, bye and Good Riddance". I take as my example Peter Sellars (Pink Panther etc., not forgetting the Goons) who, in a chat programme once said -" I would rather have a taxi driver say to me - that last film of yours was rubbish - rather than the sycophantic comments from "admirers"." In your information about the comings and goings of the various directors it did explain why and how the changes of direction occurred. Whether they were beneficial or not is for every individual to decide. Could make a load more comments and observations but, really, what would be the point? Good music and Entertaining music should be the same, but aren´t always. Thanks for the Memories KT. And that should be that - a parting of the ways.
@@alanallison3200 Ex-Band DirectorTanaka-san in his book said he had told freshies to get rid of Sing Sing Sing but the recruits always refused most saying the joined to dance that song.. Yokohama-san also said he wanted to replace the song but could not find another as entertaining.and the members always loved to perform it. Your statement that KT band are entertainers fit the theme of 2012 (109th Class): "We Are Entertainer" But the theme of 2022 (119th Class) was "Seek the Shine" 119th Seniors lead band SHONE at home and abroad (esp. in Taiwan) as Peaceful, Friendly, Loving and Charming and people full of dreams. Tens of millions of new KT FANs were created and 119th DM Mommoka Kihana nicknamed "Creta" became most watched, talked about and photographed DM at home and internationally. (Creta SHOWN in Taiwan without being hijacked by a Y-san walking with a bigger mace.) The lyrics of Fireball shows would have portray the Girls and Boys as wild and destructive "burning" people. I believe, 119th term was so sucessful that in April 2023, 41 already skilled musicians chose to enrole in KT SHS just to joined KT SHS band. Can't please everbody.
So much to like here. I miss the 3rd graders (section leaders?) in red. Winter Games, the very animated footwork of SSS, the frenetic "moving squares" (very dangerous when you have to blindly walk/run backwards!), etc. I think today's band (2022) has lost much of the allure of the earlier classes. It's still a good show, but not as entertaining as it used to be. And why are Chinese (Taiwan) people so reserved that they can't loudly applaud?

2005年是舞奏革命的第一年哦!
然後2006-2007-2008-2009 光這4年就已經創造了京都橘最輝煌的時代(到至今都是採用前輩們製作的編曲編排,在每年改良,除了開頭曲與招牌曲原封不動)你可以找看看她們過去歷屆的紀錄片 就會知道為什麼當年會有橘色惡魔之稱了 因為強的夠驚人,況且沒有人可以玩到連續3年拿下大賽銀金金的成績,還一直挑戰大賽規格(用自己的方式去享受當下)不過2020年開始又再次革命了暫未成功,大賽規模跳回來了並不完全已舞奏(2019年以前都已經玩到極限了,現在則採用更多編排設計)

我記得有採訪記者去問他們
現在他們是由學生五個人決定編曲 隊形之後 然後分散給各位去練習~
現在這位老師採取不插手的政策 所以才改革這麼多次~
這也是很多表演喜歡邀請他們來的主因之一
@@ozika8 這麼說好了還沒來台演出,京都橘就已經在闖府賽、關西賽,而來台演出10/10用的一樣編排,真的不意外畢竟沒有很多時間在設計新的,大致上她們體系模式於前田中顧問指導一樣
一直以來都是由學生幹部策劃,後階段才會在於老師指導討論結果,革命其實也只有改變大賽模式退回原本的規格而已,其他依然沒有變動~
而京都橘的魅力=舞奏與舞台豐富
日本其實很多實力又兼具的吹奏部實在太多,每年的行徑大賽各各都是精彩

私は今年、2022年10月から橘高校吹奏楽のファンになりました。10年前のこのビデオを見て驚きました。スポーツかと思うほどのWILDな演奏とダンス、現在と全然違います。それに比べると、2022年の演奏、ダンスは、洗練された、楽しい音楽になっています。これからも、ORANGE Davil応援します。

橘は此の曲から入るのが好き、橘の元気さが伝わる。
最近はマーチグンでのスタートでは、ダウン ザ リバーサイドが多いけど、こっちが橘の代名詞だもんね。
ステージマーチングでは、スタートは今でも大抵この曲「ウインタースポーツ」だと思いますよ。
「Down by the Riverside」は、パレードのスタートの定番の曲です。1年生の演奏披露用以外には、ステージでは余り演奏されていなかったと思います。

It is the arrangement of the tunes which unsettles so many, and that is down to the present Music Director - the students can only play what they are coached to play. Think of any of your favourite tunes, or groups, and examine the same tune played in different ways. Some hit the mark, others don´t. A recent example to be found on TH-cam would be "Sun Quan the Emperor". I have listened to at least seven versions - four leave me unimpressed and three (played with very different instrumentation on all three) are amongst my all-time favourites. But that is only my opinion - we all have different tastes.
The previous Music Director said his primary objective was to entertain the audiences, and when that was coupled with the dance moves orchestrated by the students (not forgetting the Marching Director) the result was a host of world --beating performances. As one person commented, KT was "the most Fun and Entertaining band" he/she had ever seen" - totally agree. They could play tunes I would normally have little or no interest in and make them into some of the best entertainment I have ever seen. Compare some of the often played tunes in the last couple of years with previous years - spot the differences in pace, which instruments take which role, the emphasis points and the accompanying movements. If you, or anyone else, are still entertained, okay, fine. But as I have mentioned elsewhere I believe the produce from KT will now be best received by a different sort of audience, especially their street performances. (By the way, I hope they are well received in the next appearance in the States, but it seems they will be offering different fare. We´ll see.) The present Music Director seems to be offering arrangements normally used by long lived bands in their elder years. But KT is composed of 16-18 year olds - full of life. And that was one of the original aims - to project the vitality of youth, but in a non-military way.
And KT was sidelined for many years because of that and it was largely because of success abroad, and some internal Japanese tv programmes, that they started to receive the recognition they deserved. Here was a Japanese High School band not only capable of entertaining foreigners ( some being recent enemies in WWII) but could also hold their own with anybody in a sit-down full orchestra performance. Something the Japanese could be really proud of, with no connection to anything military. Their Glen Miller numbers certainly had swing, which in Taiwan (amongst other places) was so watered down as to be almost unrecognisable. That is not a desire for "saber rattling" stuff - it is a desire for a swing number to swing. Thankfully "Down by the Riverside" has only been slightly tampered with. But I did see one recent version of "Sing Sing Sing" in Blumen Hugel (in Japan) which was distincty anaemic.
I loved KT for offering entertainment I have not seen before or since. Marching bands normally have no attraction for me but KT was something very special, probably due to a special combination of factors which would be very difficult to duplicate and things change - that is life. But they have left behind some superb performances. To continue as they were would be difficult and maybe not desirable ( a Change is as good as a Rest). But for people to try and deny the right of others to point out certain differences is like those people, often found in certain parts of politics or religion, who tolerate no views but their own. And a final comment (for the moment). In some of the videos of the 2017 Bandfest when KT is marching out, you can pick out the original Music Director, (then 83) in the front row, waving his hat at the band as they passed beneath him, while behind him the audience was giving them a standing ovation. Surely this was a sweet moment for him - the culmination of his efforts to project a Marching Band not in the typical Military Style but one displaying youthful vigour, fun and enjoyment. (You can see what he was trying to do in the older videos, and this was continued with the next Music Director, and then enhanced when they took up dance movements.) In Taiwan, it was good, compared to other bands, especially the choreography, but I kept longing for them to show some of the spark of several years earlier, to entertain in another country as they had in the States. But not so. In the Rose Parade of 2018 they wiped the floor with any of the military style bands (judging by the audience reactions). They are still different, well above similar bands, but now going in a different direction. I wish them luck. As for people who behave like Ayatollas, they will always be around, but luckily only dangerous to the rest of the human race if they achieve power in some field or other.

Taiwan trip invitation came in May 2022. So the Band lead by 119th Term Seniors (april 2022 - march 2023) played music largely centered around Taiwan Trip theme of peace, friendship and love. Wild FIRBALL music was not appropriate.
FYI:
Don't you know that Professor Hisashi Hiramatsu (平松久司) personally "head-hunted" Yutaka Yutaka Kaneshiro (兼城 裕) in March 2018 telling him to quit from being a public school teacher and Join KT SHS Private School as a music teacher. Prof. Hiramatsu told Kaneshiro-sensei to rebuild the KT Band as if starting a Wind Orchestra FROM SCRATCH. Tanaka immediatly resigned (in protest?) and joined some other schools bands and Yokohama was no longer employed as marching coach.
There is much improvements since. 2 AJMC national gold 2021 and 2022. The culture in the band has also become very friendly and happy.
There is no more somebody stealing the DMs spotlight by coming fully dressed WALKING with a BIGGER MACE while there were already 3 DMs in Orange Uniform dancing with their Batons. For e.g. DM Kihana-san & Club President Takeuchi-san shown in Taiwan without being hijacked.
Slow love songs and dream songs & other genre of music have been introduced. After all the band's moto had ALWAYS been:-
Full of energy & full of Smiles & full of dreams.
Thankyou for the information. Unfortunately it offers more explanation about the changes that have occurred. Please note changes are a part of life and depending on one´s tastes, standards, background, prejudices, experiences (etc) can be looked at in many ways - just different, or better, or worse or any combination. So people should be allowed to express their opinions to changes. I do not say to others -"You must share the same reactions, beliefs, tastes, etc.etc. as me" and others should not be saying that to me, or anybody else. Freedom of thought and feelings should be a basic human right (within limits, there are always extremists). I am fully aware that KT would think about what tunes were the most suitable when going abroad. So Fireball is classified as Wild, - well, well, but okay to miss it out if that is thought diplomatic . My main point was the arrangements and Taiwan was just a side point. It is the recent arrangements performed in Japan that concerned me ( and not just me, others make similar points ). If some people think those changes are for the better - fine, we all have different tastes, but it is not illegal to disagree. If the members of KT are pleased with what they are doing in recent years - fine. (But that surely does not match the some of the views expressed, in previous years, by students and those who went on to join O-Vils. But you could answer they were not representative, or student thinking has changed).
I would point out that Head-Hunting does not guarantee success and there are many failed examples in business, politics and sport (and also successes). How KT used to train and perform was incredibly demanding and it is totally understandable that a slightly easier format has been selected. Plus how long could such a demanding environment be continued?
Look - you obviously believe that the present Music Director is on the right path. I would not say he is on the wrong path but a very different one, and therefore the audience most appreciated of what they are doing will experience changes. I would love to know what the American who wrote that (in the Rose Parade) "these bands went past playing a type of funeral music, then along came KT and cheered everyone up), is thinking of any recent performances - maybe approve, maybe disappointed. Whatever his/her reaction is it should be respected.
I have shared videos of older KT performances and most have had good reactions - the exceptions being those who don´t really go for any music. (There were spectators at the Rose Parade who were more interested in the floats - humans are not of one kind). I have not forwarded any recent videos. I tried to point out the musical changes prompting that - fell on deaf ears - to explain my reaction. Put it this way, whilst writing this e-mail I have written down eight tunes which I regard as being superior to the original when performed by KT, and trained by the previous Music Director. Just my view. Nothing similar under the present Director. Their older performances still fill me with pleasure and, as I said, we should be thankful for such incredible entertainment. And, for the record, I include in that slower, tunes with more "feel" . If I say I won´t be watching many of their performances in the future (but will, now and again, have a look - to be fair) you could answer "Bye, bye and Good Riddance". I take as my example Peter Sellars (Pink Panther etc., not forgetting the Goons) who, in a chat programme once said -" I would rather have a taxi driver say to me - that last film of yours was rubbish - rather than the sycophantic comments from "admirers"."
In your information about the comings and goings of the various directors it did explain why and how the changes of direction occurred. Whether they were beneficial or not is for every individual to decide. Could make a load more comments and observations but, really, what would be the point? Good music and Entertaining music should be the same, but aren´t always. Thanks for the Memories KT. And that should be that - a parting of the ways.
@@alanallison3200 Ex-Band DirectorTanaka-san in his book said he had told freshies to get rid of Sing Sing Sing but the recruits always refused most saying the joined to dance that song.. Yokohama-san also said he wanted to replace the song but could not find another as entertaining.and the members always loved to perform it.

2012 (109th Class): "We Are Entertainer"
But the theme of
2022 (119th Class) was "Seek the Shine"
119th Seniors lead band SHONE at home and abroad (esp. in Taiwan) as Peaceful, Friendly, Loving and Charming and people full of dreams. Tens of millions of new KT FANs were created and 119th DM Mommoka Kihana nicknamed "Creta" became most watched, talked about and photographed DM at home and internationally. (Creta SHOWN in Taiwan without being hijacked by a Y-san walking with a bigger mace.)
The lyrics of Fireball shows would have portray the Girls and Boys as wild and destructive "burning" people.
I believe, 119th term was so sucessful that in April 2023, 41 already skilled musicians chose to enrole in KT SHS just to joined KT SHS band.

@@benliao863 你可能不知道島ななほ 除了京都橘,還是有在別的高校外聘當指導,雖說她本身是沒有用京都橘稱號參加玫瑰花車,但事實上是在美國培訓曾是Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps(DCI成员)映像中好像是有參加玫瑰花車的,但2年的時間也證明她帶出來的京都橘實力確實實打的強,除了行徑教練外,我記得師指導就有3-4位,可能還是會參考橫山的模式吧畢竟他還是島ななほ的老師~ 我比較期望能夠招回117-119回來是更好的😌
@@木木-l1e 我一直以為她是只有專職橘的教練近年大小場合都有她出現,不像橫山以前只有大型比賽和活動才出現,也知道她去了美國進修,以她的年齡交出這成績很厲害,時間還久看校方最後覺得有無需要師徒合作,招回117~119的成員當然最好,就人數上也有這需求。

So much to like here. I miss the 3rd graders (section leaders?) in red. Winter Games, the very animated footwork of SSS, the frenetic "moving squares" (very dangerous when you have to blindly walk/run backwards!), etc. I think today's band (2022) has lost much of the allure of the earlier classes. It's still a good show, but not as entertaining as it used to be. And why are Chinese (Taiwan) people so reserved that they can't loudly applaud?
Yes!--was expecting a thunderous ovation-----and then... just a mild trickle of clapping !!!---the girls were brilliant, not just good !

クラリネット3重奏の時の右端に、テレビの番組中でh先輩にリベンジを誓っていた新DMのYさんが一瞬映ってました。
「Winter Games」っていう曲は Tpパートの皆さんにはちょっと可哀そうですね。イントロからおよそ32小節くらい全休符ですので。

徳島での音楽の絆コンサート、2005年のアメリカでのチャリティーコンサート、2012年、2018年のローズ・パレードやバンドフェスタ、ベネフィットコンサート、ディズニーパレード等々にどうしても還ってしまいます💧
この頃やってた橘のSINGは2曲(sing✖️3 と swing✖️3)を合わせてアレンジした物が多く、むしろ原曲に近いのは2022年とかの方です。
当時のギラギラした感じの橘SINGはこのswing swing swingの鬼気迫るフレーズが有ったからこそと思っています。今の子らにやれと言っても技術的に厳しそうな感じはします。
最近はそのシングで満足に吹けない、揃わないですね。吹部自体がもはや別ものという印象。

練習風景と言えども、これぞ橘という感じがしました。
2022年の台湾の式典での動画を観ました。
正直、「これでいいの?」 という感想でした。
確かにマーチングコンテストでいい成績だったのでしょうけど、「これなら京都橘でなくても良くない?」という感じがしました。
いろんな動画の他の方のコメントを読んで心配になっていましたが、想像以上に感動しませんでした。
そうは言っても、高校の部活ですから他人が何か言うべきものでは無いのでしょうけど。
ただ、台湾の式典に呼ばれたのは、この動画にあるようなアグレッシブな先輩達のお陰なのだということは言わせて欲しい。
そういう気持ちが、学校側やK顧問に伝わらないのが何とももどかしいですね。京都橘は大丈夫か?
台湾遠征は大成功であれは京都橘じゃなきゃ出来なかったと思いますよ

顧問が変わって生徒さん達はイキイキしてて故平松先生からバトンを受け取った兼城顧問と生徒さん達がどんどん進化させてると思いますよ
国慶節の式典用としてはあれで良かったと思います。事実初めて橘を見られた方は充分感動されたようです。しかし以前からのファンにとってはマーコンレベルまで「落とした」様に見えるのも事実(特にこの年代を知っている方にとって)です。
ネットにUPされた以上はいろんな意見を出すのは自由だと思います。しかし対象がアマの部活ですので学校側が決定権を持ってます。同じく我々はファンをやめる権利があります。私個人の意見はまだ他と違う魅力がある、です。
国慶節でこれをやるのはダメでしょ
@@2439freepisces その通りだと思いますよ。国家式典でここまでハジけてはいけません。ただ古くからのファンはその他の公演も見て近年の橘がこの当時の爆発するようなエネルギーを失ったということ。このままでは2025ローズを乗切る体力があるのか?海外にも多い2018ローズを知るファンを満足させることが出来るのか?といったところが気になると思います。
