The You Tubers should get together and design a cage for the tops of the equipment that will take the abuse you put them through and hold the camera for those great entertaining shots you give us
I wonder, is this the typical means for doing soil studies like this, or are core samples, and/or ground penetrating radar sometimes used? I know that core samples are often used in soil research, and ground penetrating radar is often used for water, utilities, remains, and even archeological research; just wondering. Good video guys.
"Cool Hand Luke" ? "Luke, I want you dig me a hole." "Okay boss." "Luke, why did you dig this hole?" "Sorry boss." LOL Sorry, it just came to me watching Josh...
So great question. Do you bring a can of diesel with you? I'm sure you're well off of any beaten path. If you do bring extra diesel with you how do you transport it?
what are they digging to see if they hit china at 15 ft? man that is deep. or is that just a exercise to see how deep the excavator can dig? digging for oil?
Different kind of job great work thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent video John 👍 thanks for your time and consideration y'all be safe out there
Awesome video y’all! Upstate Brush Control Crew rides again!!!
Looks like it’s about time to put some new bushings in that poor excavator bucket. Love the channel.
You have some pins / bushings that need replacing
i think you need to do a line bore job on that excavator that bucket does the hippie hippie shake really bad a lot of slop
Different than way we used to do it. We used to roll thru the woods on a drill rig with a compass and a map. Good job
Thanks for watching!
Some digging. Good job
Well that was different. When you say 15 foot hole it doesn't sound too deep ... but when you look at 15 feet, it looks like 30!
Right?! I'd hate to fall in one of those.
I get nervous now when I see Josh near deep holes, remembering that old abandoned well. :/
We love watching you my husband use to clear land he likes those awesome manchineel you have
Good JOB you two
Keep it simple TEST Pits for Soil Classification. Easy money as long as ya bid it right 😁😁

Ha! It's on the list.
Really cool vid John, UBC can handle most anything requested I see.
How do you bill for a job like that? Per hole or hr
Is this off Parsons Road outside of Fountain Inn? Looks like the property for that project.
Will there be a Part 2 ?
Probably not. We might have another job similar to this one in the future.
So great question. Do you bring a can of diesel with you? I'm sure you're well off of any beaten path. If you do bring extra diesel with you how do you transport it?
We have it on the trucks.
do you guys ever see any bears while working
Once and a while we see them while driving too or from a job in the mountains.

Waste of my time watching a hole being dug and then filled right back in without using time lapse. Thanks guys.
